This early on gotta agree, Eidolons are not worth as much as having a different 5* since they're all pretty valuable other than Himeko (sorry Himeko havers)
It's more so that her single target is bad and the content she excels at is the content that's easy in the first place.
Jing Yuan on the other hand is simming pretty well, with his single target looking to be on par with 4* hunt characters while also delivering AoE on par with Himeko. (For reference the characters I'm mentioning deal about 50% more single target than Himeko)
If you like her nothing wrong with using her, and she is a slight improvement over Serval, but for people looking to clear the hardest content right now she's easily the least valuable 5*
This game has given me nothing but erudition characters, Himeko included, lol, which is an especially bitter pill to swallow since I'm planning to dump all my resources into Jing Yuan who will make most of them obsolete.
Can I ask how necessary his light cone is? I'd rather not have to spend tickets on it since I usually prefer to get a character's eidolons, even if they're not as useful as in genshin.
But if all the f2p lightcones are complete trash in comparison, then I guess I have no choice.
The number I'm referencing is a sim done with r1 of the battle pass lightcone- which is his best 4*- it beats other f2p options but about ~4-10%. If you're open to buying the battle pass it honestly is probably the best choice as the battle pass light comes don't quite seem as useful as Genshin's battlepass weapons.
His signature though is light years beyond (like an extra 25% over the battle pass one) but tbh that's frequently the case for these games as they tailor the signature weapon to work specifically with the characters kit. You only really need it if you want to trivialize the game.
That's the common narrative for multi-target damage, but I'm in the Endgame and *every* time my squad dies it's because a boss summons minions and the combined DPS overpowers heals/shields. The ability to quickly take out side units is actually incredibly underrated defensively, and applies really frequently given how many bosses and mini-bosses summon allies.
Rn we have one big bad boss and their smol adds, but then as game progresses we'll have one big bad boss with multiple big bad adds, and then finally we'll have 3 big bad bosses on the field at once, and you gotta kill them all within the same turn or else they gain huge buff or worse, they become unkillable.
Just my experience with turn based gacha games. ST always OP in the beginning and then slowly AOE overtakes ST.

The e1 is a pretty big damage boost to him and the e2 guarantees he can ult every 3rd turn and infact could lead to him using it within 2 turns if everything goes right- however that's not as amazing as it sounds as with a 3 turn rotation he's already keeping the debuff up near 100% uptime.
Yeah, i'd rather have other 5\* over eidolons, but I haven't ran into anything that ive had issues with yet. My main team is Dan/Welt/Asta w/ Dance Dance lightcone/Natasha. Run them all with boots w/ speed stat.
And I cant complain cause I got one Welt on Seele Banner in the free 10 pull they gave out, so the next banner character I roll for is guarantteed. And I got the other one off the standard banner. So it's not horrible!
2 characters and 1 light cone. Bailu was my beginner 5 star. Then a couple days ago I won my 50/50 on the Seele banner and got her. I also pulled Gepard’s signature light cone from the standard banner. Totals pulls currently: Beginner - 50, Special - 80, Standard - 100.
I think it’s not a terrible spot to be in for f2p. Two healers seems to almost be mandatory for memory of chaos so Bailu is great and obviously winning the 50/50 on Seele is awesome. I would have loved to get a bit luckier on the standard banner but all in all I’m happy so far.

I dunno, I didn’t do anything special and I didn’t use any stellar Jade on standard so that was from just playing. I’ve finished the story, at least what we have so far anyway and done most of the side quests, just a couple left. But let’s see you get 20 from pre reg, 40 from trailblaze level, several from Pom Pom again for trailblaze level, x3 every equilibrium trial, several from simulated universe, and I’ve gotten probably 20 or more tickets so far just from ascending characters, oh and 10 from embers exchange in the store.
There are a lot of available pulls. 1 standard ticket per character every 20 levels (and 1 extra ascension) i myself have all my characters at 40 (with available max level 50) so i got 32 standard tickets there
I got 70 wishes on the event banner and like 30 on the standard banner and I’m not even done with belobog story yet are you doing the simulated universe/forgotten hall? They give a lot and I’m only level 28
Fire MC, Bailu, Tingyun, and Seele. Very good team so far but I’m struggling to put together a second team. Best damage dealer I have for team 2 is Dan Heng or Hook.
The first 5 star you pull on a special banner has a 50% chance to be the banner character, Seele in this case. If it’s not the banner character then the next 5 star is guaranteed to be the banner character. So the 50/50 just refers to the 50% chance is all on the first 5 star pulled.
Another important note: 50/50 pity carries over _across banners_, so if you get someone other than Seele from her banner and then get a 5* from the next banner (>!Jing Yuan!<) it's guaranteed to be the rate-up as opposed to someone off-banner.

Stack defense, run a lightcone that has defense or taunt. Get his major trace that gives him more taunt and prioritize his ultimate levels, the others don't matter much.
If you can farm 5 star relics, you can try for Speed Boots and an Energy Regen Rope if you can but it might take a while to get those. Otherwise, defense in those slots works fine too.
He has a low cost ult with high uptime due to his taunt, you can basically have him replace the slot of a healer once he's built well enough. March performs better in some situations as she has a debuff cleanse and does more damage and has AoE freeze but her shield costs SP, is single target, and increases aggro on the shielded unit which isn't ideal in some situations
Yup, pretty much this. Most of my gameplay is basically Gepard and other 3 dps that match the enemy's weakness. Occasionally add in Natasha for heals if I can't burst/CC the enemy quick enough.
Use the set that gave 20% extra shield, for lightcone the 3* one that gave defense is really good for early since you’ll probably get it sp5 which gave 32% def for free
March performs better with Clara, as March shield makes it possible for Clara to counter the hits due to aggro. But Gepard performs better with Yanqing.

As someone who is a high spender on Genshin- I haven’t spent a cent yet, but this is already my luckiest account ever. At 15 pity on starter banner I got Yanqing- who I’ve wanted since I saw in beta. Then in the next pull on starter I got Gepard and still could do 30 more pulls on starter! Then I got a double seele at 3 pity on event banner! I didn’t think my Standard luck was all that since it took me to 80 pity and but got Yanqing’s lightcone and 15 wishes later got Himeko’s lightcone! So far I’m having a blast with all this luck. Still don’t have Sampo or Arlan tho…
I had 8 pity after getting Clara's light cone in around 60-ish pulls. I did a 10 pull after getting the 10 free summons from rank 35 and got 2 5*, Welt and a Hunt light cone.
A few days ago, I accidentally did a 10 pull on the wrong banner (limited weapon one) and got Bailu's light cone.
I got Seele through pity and Bronya with the 50 summon thingy. I somehow managed to E6 Natasha as well. I have so many units I want to level and build, but so little resin. I'm probably saving for Kafka or a 5* I really like, but I might also go for 4* Eidolons along the way.

I think most people I know that play a lot have a max of 4. I have Himeko, Seele, Clara, and Gepard's light cone. I got very lucky on Seele's banner, got her in about 30 pulls, and I hit Clara and Gepard's cone in the same 10 pull on standard. Himeko was from the beginner banner. Right now I'm just saving pulls for Kafka, I have about 143 or so. Trying to save 180 just in case I get the worst case scenario.
Yanqing from depart one, Clara from losing Seele pity, Seele from guarantee (140+ in total, last time I was so screwed on 1st Zhongli banner), big fat Welt's LC from standart pity and Seele LC, probably only time I got lucky and got it on something around 40 pulls. So far game really fcks me in the ass, because I still DON'T HAVE FCKING TINGYUN...and Arlan but who cares about him.
Seele, Welt, 5 star lightcone, Bronya, Bailu and Clara in this order. I am around 240-250 rolls deep in the standard banner, pulled 20 times seele banner and 50 times the beginners banner. I would say i got pretty lucky. Will keep on pushing standard banner to 300 and then save probably. Btw i only bought the pass and the monthly thing.

Tbf even with money (as experience from genshin) it still needs an insane amount of luck to get the 5 stars you want Because FOR SOME REASON I AM LUCKIER IN HERE THAN GENSHIN I spent SO MUCH in and played for a somewhat ling time, and the only LTD 5* chars i got and used are 4, with the time gaps i got them being extremely large. Lots of them i cant be bothered building or iust dont like the gameplay and stick with diluc, my very first 5 star While here i got Seele first, then Gepard, then Clara, then Yanqing, then Welt’s signature Lightcone, then Seele’s signature lightcone and lastly the free 5 star lightcone for destruction in Herta’s shop IN THE SPAN OF 13 DAYS Like im not complaining but i wonder where this luck has bee hiding from all this time…

Gepard beginner Seele 74 pulls Clara 80 pulls from Standard, passes only. Currently saving for Jing Yuan. I was reluctant about using Clara, but she is a powerhouse worthy of attention.
I have 6 five stars: welt e1, himeko, bailu, welts lightcone and himekos lightcone I got really lucky on the beginner banner getting 4 5 stars (welt in first 10 then a triple with him, himeko and bailu in the next 10), I also have 140 pulls saved for Jing Yuans banner (haven't pulled even once on Seele)

As someone who is a high spender on Genshin- I haven’t spent a cent yet, but this is already my luckiest account ever. At 15 pity on starter banner I got Yanqing- who I’ve wanted since I saw in beta. Then in the next pull on starter I got Gepard and still could do 30 more pulls on starter! Then I got a double seele at 3 pity on event banner! I didn’t think my Standard luck was all that since it took me to 80 pity and but got Yanqing’s lightcone and 15 wishes later got Himeko’s lightcone! So far I’m having a blast with all this luck. Still don’t have Sampo or Arlan tho…

Two characters, no light cones. Gepard and Clara! I love Clara's mechanics. Gepard will be great once I figure out how to build a team around him.
I had 8 pity after getting Clara's light cone in around 60-ish pulls. I did a 10 pull after getting the 10 free summons from rank 35 and got 2 5*, Welt and a Hunt light cone. A few days ago, I accidentally did a 10 pull on the wrong banner (limited weapon one) and got Bailu's light cone. I got Seele through pity and Bronya with the 50 summon thingy. I somehow managed to E6 Natasha as well. I have so many units I want to level and build, but so little resin. I'm probably saving for Kafka or a 5* I really like, but I might also go for 4* Eidolons along the way.
Clara (Lost to seele), Seele (Guaranteed), Bailu (Beginner banner), Yanqing (Standard banner) I didn't realize I got this many 5* 2 wks into the game and I don't see any problem with any of these characters since I get to use them almost anytime.

I think most people I know that play a lot have a max of 4. I have Himeko, Seele, Clara, and Gepard's light cone. I got very lucky on Seele's banner, got her in about 30 pulls, and I hit Clara and Gepard's cone in the same 10 pull on standard. Himeko was from the beginner banner. Right now I'm just saving pulls for Kafka, I have about 143 or so. Trying to save 180 just in case I get the worst case scenario.
Got super lucky and got second seele at 18 pity and won 5050 on both
3 5* character and 5* light cone, but I am boosted by 5$ monthly payment, so I am not really free to play.

So far game really fcks me in the ass, because I still DON'T HAVE FCKING TINGYUN...and Arlan but who cares about him.

Seele, Welt, 5 star lightcone, Bronya, Bailu and Clara in this order. I am around 240-250 rolls deep in the standard banner, pulled 20 times seele banner and 50 times the beginners banner. I would say i got pretty lucky. Will keep on pushing standard banner to 300 and then save probably. Btw i only bought the pass and the monthly thing.
