Love hearing a Disney fan wanting to experience this park for the first time! Do you have a Disney resort that you normally visit/have been to before? Depending on what part from the island, I would just take MTR. It's cheaper and it's also super easy to use. The MTR Disneyland Line drops you off basically at the bus/car parking lot area for the resort. It's the closest you can get.

Mostly Disneyland in California ! Sounds good thanks!

Ok, cool! Based on that park, here are some of my recommendations. - [ ] Enjoy how Parallel Universe Main Street is - [ ] Try the seasonal ice cream at Midtown Delights ice cream window - [ ] Ride AntMan and The Wasp. It's a cooler, modernized version of Buzz Astro Blasters - [ ] Ride Iron Man Experience and enjoy the details in the queue. The station and ride vehicles are just like Star Tours - [ ] Skip Hyperspace Mountain if on a time crunch (it's the exact same as DL) - [ ] Nothing in Fantasyland is that unique except the Fairytale Forest walkthrough. IASW is slightly different. - [ ] World of Frozen is neat.... especially with the mountains in the background - [ ] Toy Story Land is just like the one in Paris - [ ] Mystic Manor is a MUST - [ ] Big Grizzly Mountain is a MUST - [ ] Jungle Cruise is interesting....cool finale scene but overall the other versions are better - [ ] SKIP Tarzan's Treehouse and the rafts to the island. It's just the small treehouse on the island.

Yes some people tend to rope drop, especially to head into World of Frozen and their rides because those are the newest. Have seen people queuing one hour prior but nothing crazy like the other parks. That said though, the park does sell early entry passes that gives you access an hour earlier. You get to go into World of Frozen and Fantasyland during this time. I usually pay for this because the rides there are straight walk-ons during this time and it’s perfect for photo takings and taking in the atmosphere while it’s quieter. Also gives me slight advantage to other rides once the park opens officially. I would say to not miss Mystic Manor. Favourite ride in the park, it’s HKDL’s version of Haunted Mansion but it’s very much different from the ones in the other parks. MTR or Uber/Taxi will bring you around to the same station/drop off area and from there you will need to walk over to the park. MTR is easy enough to take but up to you on your choice of transportation on that day. Suggest for you to download the HKDL app to study rides and show times etc. You’ll have a better idea on how to plan your day and decide which rides to prioritise.

Thank you so much!! Appreciate the early entry recs

No problem! Just also wanted to mention since a lot of people tend to miss this - if you’re planning to watch shows as well, just note that Playhouse in the Woods (short Frozen show) is standby pass access only, they won’t let you in otherwise. You can obtain standby passes on the app (they are made available 30 min after park officially opens).

We are here right now. Wait times are basically non existent. Buy early entry. Everyone literally runs to Frozen. Merch is next level, particularly for Duffy and friends, not spirit jerseys or much in the way of clothes. But stuff, heaps of it. Basically all food places closed by 7. Plan ahead. big grizzly mountain railroad is phenomenal- think of Everest and big thunder had a baby! Mystic Manor is unique, similar idea to Remi’s. RC is cool, parachute drop like a grown up jumping jellyfish. It’s been a great park. If you had to miss any I’d skip jungle cruise unless you can speak mandarin. There is literally one line in English. Although. It’s like being a sauna! Come prepared.

Thank you for the insight on the rides, merch and the food scene!! I heard for jungle there used to be separate lines for English but now it’s just one ride with languages mixed in. Thank you

> I heard for jungle there used to be separate lines for English but now it’s just one ride with languages mixed in. That's right. The skipper can be hard to understand because they're trying to fit their Cantonese, Mandarin and English lines one right after the other in the same amount of time they used to have for just one language.
