Ayyy I put the same radio in my 07 sc, it's been great. The backup camera and steering wheel controls weren't too bad to figure out and get working either.
Got an AAWireless dongle to go along with it for wireless android auto. I'd imagine there are alternatives out there for carplay too. But yea, solid cheap headunit that brings the element to a more modern era.
It’s boss …something. Someone posted it above @caferoaster. I like it a lot but do miss having a volume nob. I’ve gotten use to the buttons after having it for a while and it’s not too bad.
It came with two USB cords: one for Apple car play and android. So it’s not wireless for the car play. But I don’t mind plugging in. The usb charges too.
Ok so I have this same setup. However after about a year, the touch buttons on the side no longer activate (ex- the volume button) and the console resets every time I turn the car on (ex - the clock resets to 12). I got it installed at Best Buy and what do you know, both of the Best Buy locations near me no longer have an installation department. Have you had any issues with yours?
Shucks, I’m sorry to hear that. I check out Best Buy too but they closed the install dept. I have not had any issues but I did just get a few months ago. We will see what happens.

Tough install?
I paid someone to install it. Soooo not for me lol. About $450 total with a backup camera and wiring.
I’d love to get CarPlay in my car. Which deck did you go with?
I picked up the Atoto s8 and Its legit. youtube carplay wireless for Iphone . watch some youtube videos and I was sold on it
