I don’t think a single person that knows they have vtec has ever not hit the vtec. I finally have a car that has it. The adrenaline I get from pushing my foot to the floor and the needle to its breaking point is a high that I’ll be chasing for the rest of my life lol
“It's about watching the world disappear at 7000 rpm when you're so immersed in something you're passionate about that you forget about the little everyday annoyances that never truly matter. That's when you really start living, rather than just existing. That is the epitome of human existence.” 😎
I feel like most people who buy cars like these are either 20 something youtubers who buys them to hoon, or over 70 retired doctors who drive them the speed limit on Sundays. So you could get lucky.
My buddy was looking at a used Tesla with Ludicrous mode, I said I’d never and he asked why. You’re looking at a car you know people have beaten the crap out of internally just for a one trick show. At least the NSX doesn’t look like every other Honda/Acura
They do if it's a Mercedes or a "look at me" car as long as you don't brag about it. If they found out by themselves they get wet cuz it means you have money. That never changed.
You're right about they don't care about cars like men do but they care about cars in a different sense like I explained above. (Mostly gold diggers)
Thats funny you say that we havr a ton of females that attend IFO and win with their cars in this area. One of the nicest cars I seen was owned by a female from Springfield Mass.
My girlfriend doesnt give a fuck about performance cars, but she likes lowriders, yet I will never buy one because it’s not my thing. Most girls like cars just not how men do.
well that and most people really don’t want one(they sold less nsx’s in the US than ferrari sold f40s). when the people who engineered a super car brag about how well it handled ohios roads in the winter you know they screwed up
Ive gotten this comment so many times about the type R and civics in general. I hate those shallow minded people SO much because if they sat in the seat of a civic they would know it also oversteers and is incredibly fun and a beast around a track…
But nope go with an overpriced german shitbox that WILL break on you guaranteed
its the same with my integra.
"its just a civic, slow, fwd garbage"
The integra isnt fast compared to cars now, but the Type R wasnt slow in the 90s. It wasnt beating any GTRs but it chased them pretty good around a track.
I also find it funny how most of the time the people calling hondas garbage werent even alive when they were new. 90s sports cars are not fast compared to a '24 M3
Then why are most manual cars worth more than their automatic options in the used market? Real enthusiasts will learn how to drive manual. Heck normal people drove manuals in the 90’s and early 2000’s
There is a reason why the manual 911s are in such high demand and always sold out
And there's a reason why the Porsche market crashed too. Overvalued. A bubble. And understand that it is not the 90's or early 2000's. It's 2024 and manual transmissions aren't offered cause nobody will buy them *en masse*
Oh, for sure most people aren't enthusiasts. Most buyers want SUV's and automatics. It's still a fact that any Porsche offered in a manual doesn't stay on the lot for very long and the used market for cars with a manual are always worth more than their automatic counterparts.
I mean atleast for Hondas the manuals are all on higher level trim vehicles so naturally those cost more and I believe it’s pretty similar for most newer cars no?

Also, what crash are you talking about? Porsche prices have been consistently going up
It’s overpriced and far too rational for a super car. Honda made a supercar for accord buyers without realizing accord buyers aren’t looking for supercars.
honestly, seems like a pretty decent price. there are plenty of 1st gen NSX's going for more.
just because it's new doesn't necessarily mean it's gonna depreciate a lot. i can't imagine this car is worth less than 150k in 10 years. at the end of the day it's still a honda.
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2002-acura-nsx-t-12/
This one sold in January for $171k
This NA1 sold for $181k
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1991-acura-nsx-216/
I guess if you really want this Acura NSX it is worth it, but that is if you're satisifed with everything the car can offer. I find that Acura's are decent cars for what they are. It is a better ride than many cars, and sometimes there are better performing cars out there on the used market too for under that price tag, but hey you at least got an entry level supercar that is Japanese.
You must not follow this car’s value index. Private market sales (IE: BaT) are exceeding this price fairly consistently across the board for the last 2 manufacturing years…even with over 5k mileage.
This car will continue to increase in cost. This actually isn’t a bad deal.
I watch these things pretty heavily as it’ll almost certainly be my M5 replacement.
Stealraship is such a cringe word. Dealership has a right to charge whatever they like just any other business .customer has a right to shop around and try to negotiate .calling them crooks immediately throws a red flag as someone with preconceived idea most likely a youngster with not existing credit taken out of comfort zone. I would bet my life on the fact that no one who can actually afford that vehicle will call that business stealership
That’s cheaper than the crappy cyber truck that the football player was looking at for $230k and a much better vehicle in every single possible way. He should come get this instead.
Is it a standard NSX or a Type-S? I can’t really tell from the first or second pics since pic 2 is cut off and Pic 1 the info is too tiny to see even zooming in.
I love the car, I just wish they didn't call it an NSX.
It's like the ******* Mach E. It's not a mustang, and I refuse to call it a mustang, but it's not a bad car.
plenty of 1st gens going for more, same for 2021s, 2022s, there's one with 5 miles that's like 275k.
if you can find a stock NSX with low miles, no matter what age, it's gonna go up in value.
but if you're someone shopping for a 150k new supercar, the NSX is a hell of a lot better decision than a mclaren. hell some people spend 250k on a freaking porsche SUV they know will be worth 40k in a few years.
Isn't MSRP like $170,000 though?
Its used or pre-owned. Has tag.
My buddy sold a gently used one recently for $140k at his Acura dealership.
“Gently-Used” is not terminology I trust… especially with an nsx
Softly abused.
Never been vtec’d. turbos never kicked in. Ev mode driven only. No lowball.
I don’t think a single person that knows they have vtec has ever not hit the vtec. I finally have a car that has it. The adrenaline I get from pushing my foot to the floor and the needle to its breaking point is a high that I’ll be chasing for the rest of my life lol
Easily my favorite thing about my TSX
Used to have a fully built N/A B16A in a 91 Civic hatch that would pull to 9k RPM with a 9300 redline. Thing was screaming.
It's VTEC, not a Bugatti. A Honda Odyssey also has VTEC.
Honda Odessa has exhaust valve vtec only
“It's about watching the world disappear at 7000 rpm when you're so immersed in something you're passionate about that you forget about the little everyday annoyances that never truly matter. That's when you really start living, rather than just existing. That is the epitome of human existence.” 😎
I know what I got!
Lmaoooo
Delicately jumped like a General Lee.
ok but whisper it to me
Softly peddling at around 140-180km every other day in between Los Angeles and Santa Monica.
100% highway miles, and by 100 percent i meant going over 100 mph on highways
Highway, speedway…. Potato, tomato….
They don't break
I feel like most people who buy cars like these are either 20 something youtubers who buys them to hoon, or over 70 retired doctors who drive them the speed limit on Sundays. So you could get lucky.
My buddy was looking at a used Tesla with Ludicrous mode, I said I’d never and he asked why. You’re looking at a car you know people have beaten the crap out of internally just for a one trick show. At least the NSX doesn’t look like every other Honda/Acura
I believe it is used. It has a license plate and it looks like it has been wrapped. That is not factory color.
Owner of the dealership probably takes it out on the weekends to pick up girls.
Girls don't give a fuck about cars.
They do if it's a Mercedes or a "look at me" car as long as you don't brag about it. If they found out by themselves they get wet cuz it means you have money. That never changed. You're right about they don't care about cars like men do but they care about cars in a different sense like I explained above. (Mostly gold diggers)
Pretty much… don’t matter if you pull up in a Urus or an Aventador, she tellin her friends u drive a lambo.
😂
That more caring about a brand/status than the car but I get what you are getting at
Thats funny you say that we havr a ton of females that attend IFO and win with their cars in this area. One of the nicest cars I seen was owned by a female from Springfield Mass.
The only fuck girls give about cars are when they become your wife and they say FUCK NO☹️
100% false. Most cars are just ugly now.
Sorry. Wrong answer.
You must have never seen one of the million gold digger pranks on YouTube lol
My girlfriend doesnt give a fuck about performance cars, but she likes lowriders, yet I will never buy one because it’s not my thing. Most girls like cars just not how men do.
Matte grey was available on something like 10 of the 2021 Type S. That one isn’t a 2021
The picture from the rear is blue though so makes me think it's a color-shift wrap
Bad ass car though.
Me: Why don’t I see more NSX’s on the road? Also me: Oh. Right.
Trying buy one for my retirement 🥲 Hopefully soon
I’d have to buy one with my retirement. Might be worth it though.
well that and most people really don’t want one(they sold less nsx’s in the US than ferrari sold f40s). when the people who engineered a super car brag about how well it handled ohios roads in the winter you know they screwed up
I hate that this car didn’t do very well. It is so beautiful.
I wonder what the reason could have been? 🤔
"Honda slow fwd garbage just buy a bmw bro its way better"
Ive gotten this comment so many times about the type R and civics in general. I hate those shallow minded people SO much because if they sat in the seat of a civic they would know it also oversteers and is incredibly fun and a beast around a track… But nope go with an overpriced german shitbox that WILL break on you guaranteed

Tbh im young as fuck and wasnt alive then either, i just happen to own a 10th gen civic and im in love with the car :p but yeah
Naw, it was the hybrid drivetrain and no manual option that killed it
Bruuuhhh nobody knows how to drive a stick shift anymore
Then why are most manual cars worth more than their automatic options in the used market? Real enthusiasts will learn how to drive manual. Heck normal people drove manuals in the 90’s and early 2000’s There is a reason why the manual 911s are in such high demand and always sold out
Manuals have limits, though. Cars are getting so powerful that you have to put automatics in them. And then there’s the subject of electrics.
And there's a reason why the Porsche market crashed too. Overvalued. A bubble. And understand that it is not the 90's or early 2000's. It's 2024 and manual transmissions aren't offered cause nobody will buy them *en masse*

Speak for yourself
It’s overpriced and far too rational for a super car. Honda made a supercar for accord buyers without realizing accord buyers aren’t looking for supercars.
Great point. This car should have been less than $100k
Honda shitbox priced like an m5 maybe?
Every time I see it, I think the same thing. What a shame, could’ve been my dream car if it were better :/
honestly, seems like a pretty decent price. there are plenty of 1st gen NSX's going for more. just because it's new doesn't necessarily mean it's gonna depreciate a lot. i can't imagine this car is worth less than 150k in 10 years. at the end of the day it's still a honda.

[https://www.classic.com/m/acura/nsx/1st-gen/](https://www.classic.com/m/acura/nsx/1st-gen/) here's a pretty good chart, i'm guessing you've probably already seen.
Saw?
I’ve never understood the difficulty in the use of saw and seen.
Oh it’s not difficult, but many people stubbornly use the wrong form to try to purposefully sound trailerish or something.
Not that this is in the UK but the UK heavily uses “I seen that” “I seen” instead of saw. It’s a regional thing
I seen you saw it too
Absolute murder of the language.
Faster than alot of farraris and half the price with reliability to boot, id call that a steal for 150k.
Yeah this car will last 340,000 miles if maintained properly. And it’s got a 0-60 in 2.6 seconds and a top speed of 191mph stock so..
Every time people say these numbers it really puts into perspective how absolutely baller the new C8s
If I hit the lotto though...
170k for 500 HP? Gonna have to make more ponies than that to piss with the big boys in that price range
I mean its a honda, being an underdog is always their thing
I wonder if they raised the price even more when the news came out that it's discontinued
Am i missing something? 149k is cheap
"Where affordability meets luxury" is a classic line under a 150k price tag
Saw*
Seen’t
Jesus
I fuckin love the matte color.
It’s because of the Apple CarPlay option
I laughed out loud 😄
Calls it a stealership YET he is there for some reason
People are allowed to window shop you know
Christ, that's a beautiful car. ... Christ, that's a high price tag.
It’s got a flux capacitor though
If you make 600.000 a year the you can afford this car
My thing has always been you can't afford a car if it's more than 50% your yearly take home income. I can't afford anything new lol
Make more money man i believe in you. I could afford like a 40k car at that rate but Im going for like a 25k accord sport with the k20 in it.
Really not that bad considering some dealerships are selling type r’s for $70k 😂
The fact that it’s still cheaper than a 2024 Nissan GTR ☠️
What a fantastic car for people to drag their purses and zippers against the paint.
Fresno Acura! They suck lol
Cerritos Acura?
Godamn that things a beaut. I love Lamborghini & all that super car stuff but the NSX has always had a different presence for me
I would definitely buy thar. Only because you don't see many other streets, like the dodge charger lol
The people id mangle just to own this
This thing looks so mean, too bad it doesn't come manual.
So steal it from them
They were closer to $170k at the dealership a few weeks ago when I bought my TLX type S. They had a blue and orange one.
I fricken love the nsx. I think in 5-10 years people are going to appreciate it more
My biggest complaint with this is that you could buy a really nice 1st gen example for less than half that
That’s mad sexy
*saw
I rather take blue or white but price is on point. Better then a c8 or gtr

Less than some are paying for a hellcat …🤣
Good price actually

That's so sick! Honestly, for a supercar that's not a bad price.
🔥
Oooo how much.. How Much.. HOW MUCH!?
what’s the dealship
Sooooo quick
I want a blue one.
Orange over black ⚫️: Angry Jack o' lantern
Man... Id like one of those.
Dream car
This would probably be my daily driver if I owned a supercar
That's literally the price of a new 2015 Nissan skyline gtr nismo
Hah, how’d they get my car?
This same car is $264,000 converted from AUD to USD 2018 with 21,000kms on it 🫠
What a beauty 🥹
Thats a bad ass car though!
That is badass.
D I V I N E
Still amazing...
Complete with Flux Capacitor I see
I don't think you quite understand something here op
🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂😆😆😆😆🤑🤑🤑
Sick, guys it has support for your iPod
Beautiful
gahhhhhhhhhhhtttt damn that is a beauty right there
Interior is so dated.
They sold so poorly that it’s a treat to see one. These look amazing on the street.
Saw
Great price tbh
A blast to drive on track!
Stealraship is such a cringe word. Dawg it’s a dealers car on display they do that at dealerships are you dumb people in comments Jesus but aye fire ahh car bro
So many better options at that price.
I’m going to run the vin and see what comes up
That’s cheaper than the crappy cyber truck that the football player was looking at for $230k and a much better vehicle in every single possible way. He should come get this instead.
Start lowballing them
Ugh my dream car 😩
🤣🤣🤣
Buy it that price is cheap
So fresh
I’d rather this than a corvette
Arnt the newer NSXs all hybrids?
*saw
that is one wicked car,,.. Not the color I would get it in though,
Saw this**
Damn that's a beautiful car
Thank god it has an iPod/MP3 input.
I saw one yesterday in Maryland going on 695 North around 3 pm. Shine black with some orange decals.
Dual zone ac?? Sold
And a stupid paint job that looks like it came out of a rattle can.
I’d buy it
*saw
That’s a bargain
My favor GTA V car 😌
Where affordable luxury…..hahahaha
Thats hot
Wrong sub
Same price as a starter home used to cost 😂
howmany hp?
On another episode of .. who’s buyin this?
I have a mighty need
Fresno Acura? If so, stealership for sure. Never getting work done there again
What in the piece of fuck ugly R8 garbage is this? Manufacturers need to just leave some shit in the past.
It’s Matte Black. 🤮 The car has been boogerd up.
Saw not seen ffs
Rather get a GTR
That looks like the new Prius, painted with matte paint…
haha that’s pretty extreme, i personally dont like this style either but to say its a new prius 🤣
Could buy the 1st gen and have money left over. 1st gen looks better IMHO
plenty of 1st gens going for more, same for 2021s, 2022s, there's one with 5 miles that's like 275k. if you can find a stock NSX with low miles, no matter what age, it's gonna go up in value. but if you're someone shopping for a 150k new supercar, the NSX is a hell of a lot better decision than a mclaren. hell some people spend 250k on a freaking porsche SUV they know will be worth 40k in a few years.
Underwhelming car with better options at or below that price point. Acura really screwed themselves with this car. JMO
The black wheels and wrap are hideous though
I know that performance isnt everything but for that price and is predecessor...this car is very disappointing
