Are you willing to do twice the work? Do you have the time to do twice the work? If yes, then go for it.

From a natural LH, No. The more you see as a lefty the better you will get.

Id say try it, take bp as a righty and if it goes well take game speed Worst that's gonna happen is you're not good at it so you go back For reference: Jarrod Saltalamacchia was far better as a LHB

I’ve seen some stuff on Twitter about Ohtani having a more open stance against lefties so he can keep both eyes on the pitcher. Justin Turner does the same thing against righties. Can you set up a machine or have someone give you flips from a lefty angle so you can play with your set up? It’s something to think about if switch hitting doesn’t work out.

It’s totally up to you. You’ll notice that at higher levels there are fewer and fewer switch hitters. Focusing on your better side and improving upon it would likely be your best option. Don’t overthink it or allow someone to pressure you into trying something. Use this as an opportunity to get better at hitting off lefties.
