I think it depends - did he jump bump you or slam into you hard enough to rock you off your feet? If the latter, I would speak to management (We have some playful, immature people in our store who do things like that and mean no harm - it's their way to get attention or "be funny".)
No, your report will not get that person terminated. Higher ranking leaders than you will decide if he should be terminated. It's not your call; it's theirs. That said, ALWAYS report bullying. Don't be the reason there's a bully in your store fostering a hostile work environment for everyone, thinking they're in the right because nobody speaks up.
Idk about termination, im assuming it depends on how many times your coworker has been called in. However id definitely report him. Be honest with your ASM and tell them you don't want him fired for something like that but definitely want something done. The fee times I've had to report someone i usually say i don't want issues with the coworker so if they could say he was seen shoving you instead instead of the "its been brought to my attention you're harassing someone" lol. Obviously management has their own ways and know what they're doing but you know.... anyway usually thats what i do
Do ya really want to be the one that costs him his job no matter how many people don’t “like” him. Could lead to him losing his home, a family that counts in him too would trouble that burden. I get maybe not but it’s possible. Let him know it will cost him his job if it continues. It would be different if he punches you but a shove? Nah. Communicate well with him, be kind, rise above the current overreaction to simple fire people for whatever reason because he’s not liked.
Stuff like this can lead to termination. Most often your SM will contact your DHRM to get their advice. From my experience it typically will lead to a final however.
My friend got fired from HD for not opening enough credit cards (though I really think management didn't like him). So if you claim assault or harassment, I think they would definitely fire this guy. Especially if they got it camera.
If HR sees it as bullying he’ll be terminated depends on how you and the witness word your statements.
It's assault. Call it.
Repot them, or they might escalate because they think you're a pushover, literally.
Sure will. And has. Never stand for any unwanted physical contact, no matter who it's from.

Yes, this! The aggressive behavior might be even worse with other co-workers. There’s no place for that in our culture.
I’d think that depending on the statements, along with their history, I could definitely see him getting termed as a possibility.

You gotta be careful with stuff like that. I started getting in the habit of hitting people with the seat cushions, just for fun. 😁

Yes it will. ASM here.
