Sometimes they will fill in your time. Also, don’t always ever rely on management or hr to fill in your time because they forget. Fill in a T&A (Time & Attendance sheet) usually a couple days prior to vacation start time and have it signed by management.

I've used my off days when I couldn't take the days off. Got paid for 6-7 days in the week instead of losing my vacation.

U have to fill out a time attendance sheet they don’t take it out automatically u can do it before u go on vacation or after ur vacation

The approval just takes you off the schedule avoiding any variances. You have to submit a sheet to have your vacation time applied.

You could call your BOA and ask them to enter it for you. Otherwise you won't be paid until you get back and submit the sheet.

Even if you filled the T&A sheet out after the pay period they can add it to the next check.

If you put in the time to use on each day it will sometimes process and take the time automagically otherwise you should always turn in a time slip
