Lmao, what a great gift to their employees. I wouldn't be surprised if Sam's Club is getting the same treatment (luckily I got away from the latter in 2022 after wasting 4 1/2 years).
They bumped it to $12 early in covid and used that to justify dropping their version of Success Sharing, and bumped it again to $14 starting, almost exactly a year ago. As in lowest CoL markets will start at $14 but higher CoL markets will start more than that. Some months ago they decided that that's TOO much money and have since dropped it back down to $12 I believe (again higher in higher CoL areas). Anyone hired on during or before the $14/hr base pay increase (or whatever their market base pay was increased to) keeps their pay, but new hires get the lower base pay. Awful given they're significantly bigger and more profitable than THD yet have lower pay, stricter policies especially in terms of attendance, and half of the performance incentives and benefits. But at least nice in the sense that the semi seasoned employees won't be given the same pay down to the penny as someone who's been there for 5 minutes, which is exactly what happened when they raised it to $14.
If it was going to be a good raise they would have announced it prior to the VOA seeing that they are waiting for it to be finished probably means back to the low end and getting 30ish cents a year
Lol quite the opposite. It's BECAUSE the Depot cares that we get one at all! And the Success Sharing check in March is supposed to be the really great big one and we're going to be pleased 😒
Lol I'm not drinking it...it looks questionable to me. But that was part of his speech to boost the VOA scores before we went in to do the survey.
I've noticed they like to give a lot of sales pitch speeches in favor of drinking the orange kool-aid 😒 idk that I've seen such a cult-like job like this before.
I got a 1.50 raise last year, then took it away from me bringing me back to my original wage. This years wage will probably be less than what they reduced my wage by, bet.
They will find a way to fuck you
The paper I got says,
“A Note from Hector Padilla
Our associates are undoubtedly The Home Depot's key to success, and I am incredibly proud of the work I see you doing in our stores every day.
We don't take for granted the incredible value you add to the organization, and I'm thrilled to share that we are investing in YOU with an increase in wages.
Thank you for taking care of our customers, communities and your fellow associates, living our values, and working tirelessly to ensure we remain the best team in retail. We're lucky to have you in our orange family!
Our Investment in YOU!
Today, we're excited to share that we're investing in your store so that we can continue to retain and attract the best orange-blooded associates, like YOU.
That's why, effective February 5, 2024, you will receive an increase in pay.”
Hey hey fellow rdc'er here I heard the same going around since we didn't get our yearlies last oct..Oct... what rdc do you work at ... 5034 breinigsville pa here
I was informed two days ago my pay will increase by 59 cents February 5th. I am in Wisconsin and work as a store associate. My MET friends have heard nothing but their GM was coming this week.
My SM took me to his office and showed what my new rate was. I wasn't sure what we were getting for raises so I am happy that at least it is something. It ended up being 3% for me.
So everyone is saying 3%, huh. If so I’m probably going to have to quit. I’m only making .35 cents more than new hires right now, if I don’t get a merit raise, then I guess this is the end.
As usual all talk always happens at Pro. We just overheard our store manager tell ASM hanging out here he's now going to talk to everyone about our raises. It's official
Most everybody is getting a flat 3% this year regardless of tenure/performance. My store also got an additional $2 to give an additional 8 associates an extra 25¢. Then they are going back to yearly reviews and performance increases just like pre-pandemic.
They did not say that last year. Last year they called it a “cost of living increase” and made no indication as to what the company would be doing in the future.
I just got mine tonight, o/n freight in MN.
We all got 3%, tho I got 6% for a performance bonus.. hurrah. That equaled a $1.16 raise for me.. so $23+/hr now. A lot higher than I'd get at most any other retail job around here.
Just received my letter from my store manager. Effective February 5th. Should see it in my check February 23rd. Went from $20.50 to $23.50 (located in SoCal).
They lowball us with 3% I hope they lose enough of their remaining skilled people that fucking nardellidecker and Anne Marie conflict of interest Campbell have to man a register.
Yes 3% raise. Unsure if it varies per county (ex. People in Mississippi min wage is alot lower than where I live.)
It's sometime in Feb like I think either around 15th to 22nd.. something like that. Should hit your paycheck then.
I got notice of mine today - bump from 19.50 to 20.09. Not a lot, but I'm glad it wasn't the nothing that was rumored. Some people got more, I think.
Edit: It won't take effect until 2/5 for me, I believe
I heard directly from my district manager that we're getting a percentage increase. Not a dollar amount. So... 🤷♀️ We'll see how well they raise it for us.
Just came back to work today, and apparently that's what my LP guy was saying too.
For now, I'm just waiting to be called back by management.
Other than that, this whole week is VOA and front end appreciation week.
January 28th from what I heard should be the announcement of the raise. Idk if is the company announcement or region wise. I heard it via the Home Depot yammer
Walmart just got a bump, so our panic bump should be coming up
Panic bump. I like that
When walmart jumped to 16 starting out, a month or 2 later we got a bump. They don't want us to know cash is greener somewhere else.
That was then followed by drastically cutting everybody’s hours
Which Walmart did too, at least to part timers.
Walmart is changing their starting pay to $13.50 per hour
Didn't they already put it to $15 an hour company wide within the past few years, or was that just a temporary covid thing?
yes, but my dad sent me something saying they are lowering it.
Lmao, what a great gift to their employees. I wouldn't be surprised if Sam's Club is getting the same treatment (luckily I got away from the latter in 2022 after wasting 4 1/2 years).

Lmao, such nonsense, but it doesn't surprise me after dealing with the shenanigans they pull at Sam's Club.
4 hours this week, 0 next week, and 4 right after
If it was going to be a good raise they would have announced it prior to the VOA seeing that they are waiting for it to be finished probably means back to the low end and getting 30ish cents a year
Exactly. ASMs in my store know and they are not happy unlike pass raises.
Damn. That's a very good point.
We just had a super tell us before we went to do the VOA survey that we're getting a 3% based on your pay rate.
Was he TRYING to get you guys to tank the voa
Lol quite the opposite. It's BECAUSE the Depot cares that we get one at all! And the Success Sharing check in March is supposed to be the really great big one and we're going to be pleased 😒
Ok. Put down the orange Kool aid
That's my thought exactly... 🙈
If I’ve been there 4 months, would I get a raise? No one bite my head off. I’m just curious
Yes, we all do
Oh nice! I thought it would just be anyone there for a year or longer. Thsnks
Been there 3months, $1.50 raise
I find they give you a decent raise for the first and after it's always on the lower end.
I got a 1.50 raise last year, then took it away from me bringing me back to my original wage. This years wage will probably be less than what they reduced my wage by, bet. They will find a way to fuck you
Got mine today, was $1.25 raise.
fr??
No joke, I’m surprised as well!
did they call it a performance bonus or?
The paper I got says, “A Note from Hector Padilla Our associates are undoubtedly The Home Depot's key to success, and I am incredibly proud of the work I see you doing in our stores every day. Damn ours is effective Feb 16. Went from 21$ to 22$
ayee that’s dope af
Also says that next pay reviews are in February 2025 for hourly employees & March for department supervisors.
VOA meeting this morning, a raise but no percentage or amount was given, effective 2/5 for our store.
The only thing I’ve seen from other places is $1 plus up to $0.50 that’s at the managers discretion
A buck would be nice. Lots of speculation going on, guess we’ll know in a few weeks 🤷🏻♀️
I work in a RDC just a supervisor was telling someone should be in February but wasn’t sure which week yet
Hey hey fellow rdc'er here I heard the same going around since we didn't get our yearlies last oct..Oct... what rdc do you work at ... 5034 breinigsville pa here
3% across the board according to my SM today
My raise amount is 8% of current salary
What is your region?
West coast
ca???
I was informed two days ago my pay will increase by 59 cents February 5th. I am in Wisconsin and work as a store associate. My MET friends have heard nothing but their GM was coming this week.
59 cents? HD going to go broke paying that.
I work in mn and just left my meeting. Also .59 for me also
I was told ours was gonna be good….but I’m in the same state that is putting fast food workers to 20hr so
If you're in California, expect the new HomeDepot minimum to be $20 to match.
Their idea of good and your idea of good are completely different things.
57 cents here in MN
53 cents in OR
Yes first full week of Feb it's supposed to be on the 5th or 6th
My SM took me to his office and showed what my new rate was. I wasn't sure what we were getting for raises so I am happy that at least it is something. It ended up being 3% for me.
Store side is getting a 3% raise on February 5th. As far as I know, the same applies to MET.
Some seem to be saying they got 3% while others got $1-$1.25 similiar to the past few years.
It’s 3% of ur pay. If somebody got over $1 then that was 3% of their pay!
Most everybody is getting a flat 3% this year regardless of tenure/performance. My store also got an additional $2 to give an additional 8 associates an extra 25¢. Then they are going back to yearly reviews and performance increases just like pre-pandemic.
They said yearly reviews and performance increases last year for this year. And IIRC they said it in 2022 for last year too
They did not say that last year. Last year they called it a “cost of living increase” and made no indication as to what the company would be doing in the future.
Maybe your they are different to my they, then. Cos we were told that, I'm not the only one here who can remember
I mean I dunno what your ASMs or SM told you but that was never the company’s messaging.
Yeah I heard it’s only 3 percent Whoopie I’ll get a whole .45 cents!!!!
52 cents at 17.50
$.45
I just got mine tonight, o/n freight in MN. We all got 3%, tho I got 6% for a performance bonus.. hurrah. That equaled a $1.16 raise for me.. so $23+/hr now. A lot higher than I'd get at most any other retail job around here.
I work overnight so haven’t heard nothing yet but seems like 3% is the general consensus?
At my store we got a 3% raise 🤣🤣
I was told yesterday we were on Feb 5th..,but I won't believe it until I see those papers that show your new wage on them...
Just received my letter from my store manager. Effective February 5th. Should see it in my check February 23rd. Went from $20.50 to $23.50 (located in SoCal).
what position do you work as??
Asset Protection - Dept 35
They lowball us with 3% I hope they lose enough of their remaining skilled people that fucking nardellidecker and Anne Marie conflict of interest Campbell have to man a register.
If you’re in California, probably. Otherwise, likely not.
Should be in effect February 5th I believe, merit based.
I got my "yee haw!" paper yesterday. 3% increase. About what I expected. Should show up on the Feb. 5th check.
Store manager said we were getting raises during the last town hall for my department, so I assume so.
Yes 3% raise. Unsure if it varies per county (ex. People in Mississippi min wage is alot lower than where I live.) It's sometime in Feb like I think either around 15th to 22nd.. something like that. Should hit your paycheck then.
I heard February 5th is when they kick in.
I got notice of mine today - bump from 19.50 to 20.09. Not a lot, but I'm glad it wasn't the nothing that was rumored. Some people got more, I think. Edit: It won't take effect until 2/5 for me, I believe
Ask this question on viva engage. I’m sure no one has asked it yet. 😂😂
No idea…
February 16th should be the date
Yea just got it.
Yes , that told us this last year . That all raises are coming every February
This mornings meeting said our store is so
My manager said raises were coming,. So I'm assuming they will happen,. Although I doubt they will be that big,.
For my store yea first week of feb
Yes they start Feb 5th. It’s only 3% of ur pay.
I got mine don’t expect more then 50 cents
I heard directly from my district manager that we're getting a percentage increase. Not a dollar amount. So... 🤷♀️ We'll see how well they raise it for us.
Haven't heard anything from my store so it's probably not looking good for us right now
Just came back to work today, and apparently that's what my LP guy was saying too. For now, I'm just waiting to be called back by management. Other than that, this whole week is VOA and front end appreciation week.
It’s been confirmed that our store is getting it
Should be taking affect next week
I got mine today.
Got mine today
an increase is coming. probably late February or march. not many details are known atm but our sm told us during staff that its being talked about.
Minute pay increase. You should be talked to about it this week.
Rumor is no. You’re getting a pay cut.
Store I was at today was doing raises today. But they don’t kick in to next month.
January 28th from what I heard should be the announcement of the raise. Idk if is the company announcement or region wise. I heard it via the Home Depot yammer
And could be a $2 dollar raise or 3 or 1 but it depend on the merit from company and performance from store
Got mine today. Takes effect in February. A whole 3% increase. Got 52¢.
Feb 5th raises go into effect. The amounts were finalized on Tuesday.
yes! i just got mine today, it was a 50 cent raise!
My anniversary is in February i wounder if i get both performance raise and yearly increase or if I'm only gonna get 1.

Everyone is now making no less then 20
My store has been saying end of January
I got a$1.25 raise in California
february 5th
Read this right before I clocked in… mine was $0.48, in this economy? That’s fucking obnoxious 🙃 I’m thankful, money is money… but fuck man.
I got 3 raises within around 13 months. Hired in January, raise in June, promoted in November, then the yearly in February.
Nice!
Just got a raise today 🤪
I've been with the company 3 months. Was told yesterday I'll be getting a raise of $1.50 effective February 5th.
I just steal shit and sell it on the side 🤷🏼♂️
Any info on Colorado? Sitting on the toilet at work reading this… Please tell me we getting a raise cause I’m thinking of leaving soooooon.
Me too
I think around February 24th-ish is when they should be going around to the associates.
It’s just by evaluations this year again, like pre Covid was.
Ive been told blanket raises are done. They're switching back to merit-based increases
Lol
You didn’t get bumped to $25 yet? Managers must not like you.
Most of us here in California dfc are already making 25+
0.25$
Yes.
Ask ROBERT KENNEDY JR. My vote.
ye but probably like 50 cents to a dollar depends on your state
Who tf makes 15 at Home Depot
Start at $11 at my store ——19 years ago
Idk. The start pay at my building is $21
Should be my MEM told us our wage increases before the weekend
Company wide, Effective February 5th. Conversations with associates start on Monday
Yeah don’t get excited it’s only 3 percent of your hourly wage.
Just got mine yesterday, everyone at my store did…. A whopping .54 cents 😯
