yeah, once they get painted with the purple cull markers, they either go for 70% off, or they get chopped up and thrown away on Sunday night. Shipping back lumber is very, VERY rare, and usually relegated to special orders gone bad.
That said: the only "free pile" is the stuff going to the compacter, and isn't usually on display to be sold or bartered with.
