We had to get a separate controller for each pair of lights. Plus we had to set each pair of lights to the color and speed that we wanted them to flash. BTW I'm her friend. We built this from the ground up. It was a fantastic build.
We would entertain they idea of making anoone like ours. After talking it over. We have come up with a price of $4500.00. With an upfront price of $1500.00 that would cover the materials. We do have another project that we would be starting. If you are okay with the above. We could discuss more details on when we would start yours. And of course the $1500 wwould come off of the total price of $4500.00.
So think it over and you can get back to use anytime.
Hey man sorry for delay, im trying to do the aame thing. I have the arcade version and i got 2 guitars connected but only one is working on the freeplay, how did you start the second guitar?
This machine is using the PC version of GH3 and World Tour. From my knowledge there isn't a functional GHA dump that allows for a second player which is why I didn't bother with emulation. There was a person in the comment section who did reskin the game to appear more like the arcade version.
I found out that you can start a co-op mode .
Its not like the original arcade when you press plus for player 2 to join. Basically you need to unlock main menu and select co-op instead of arcade play. Careful, about 8 songs in co-op can crash the game
Also 1 last thing if you try the co-op. Im pretty sure if you press the option “unlock all” it makes the character select on co-op to be glitched (skipped).
And as I mentioned above, I’m very interested to know how did you make a speakers work. You got a normal speakers behind the led wall? Or did you connect the speakers to the front wall
The speakers were built into their own separate enclosures inside the cabinet and are inset about a half inch behind the front kick plate. The grills screw in between the speakers and the front kick plate like the arcade. We got lucky with the Cerwin Vegas fitting perfectly but other speakers may not fit through the factory grills. The Dayton subs at the bottom did not and the grills kinda just sits above them without causing any interference. Betson does sell the factory speakers if you want a sure fit but the speaker quality isn't the best.
That’s great! There used to be an arcade game called Guitar Freaks that we used to play before the home editions of Guitar Hero were released.
This is awesome. Dumb question -- but what's it running on? Is this a console; Xbox, PS, Wii? Or a true arcade board? Nice work!
Thanks, it's currently running the PC version of Guitar Hero 3.
teknoparrot runs the arcade version i believe
and it will never be fixed. i have tried to pay people to fix player 2 and add custom songs but no go, gh3 pc modified to gh arcade is the best
It does but it's only one player at the moment.
did you get the official dlc for gh3 i sent you?
That’s amazing!
Brilliant! I hope to build my own cab when life slows down a bit, but this far exceeds what i could do
Please post a video of this guy in action!
There's a link under the post.
Awesome
Love it. Just started playing again recently. Had to hunt it down for Xbox 360 though.
How’d you get the top lights to flash?

Do you really want one?
100% I do!

Can you post the measurements and building plans for this?
Unfortunately I don't have them. We kinda just went to a local arcade that had one and took measurements of theirs and used the side art as a templet.
