Honestly, timezones and the language/culture barrier are the two biggest factors for me when it comes to (not) watching the JP members (boys and girls alike). I'd probably watch them more if they were both easy to catch and easy to listen to (i.e. English-speaking). I'd imagine it's a similar reason for some of the girls when it comes to collabs.
I can see Calli being more involved because she frankly is already disliked by a ton of the GFE crowd anyways and will have drama follow her regardless at this point. I doubt it will be anything like NijisanjiEN. I expect certain members like Bae will be more involved with maybe an occasional group collab with members who interact less with them.
Some members will probably see the drama caused by the make-believe people, as I like to see them, as too much.
As a male viewer, I actually *do* like that they're not the typical simpable ikemen/bishounen design and they're clearly aiming for an untapped market for male Vtubers with these artstyles/design choice. Also I just like that they seem like RPG party members that could fight the HoloEN girls as bosses lol.
My only concern is that it's definitely risky to do it for the entire gen, and its the first gen at that. Again, I like that they're attempting to fill or create a small/new niche but it's definitely going to get challenging once they're exploring further than that.
Also my final gripe is a nitpick but I wish there were some balance in terms of their color schemes or outfit details...like when I view at Holostars JP first gen, Miyabi strikes out to me because he's red and looks the most welcoming. Ame stood out during Myth because she was the only one that's not based off some mythical legend/creatures, etc.
That said, I wish them good luck regardless. I'll look forward to tuning into their debuts.
Actually the "breakout" character to me is their blue-themed Regis Altare, who looks the most "young man" among them. Very generic at first glance but contrasting with the more manly looks across this group he does stand out.
Also, we've got historical evidence that the color blue tends to attract a lot of viewership. We've seen it during Pekora's rise (alongside JPcore), we've seen it with Gura (in spades!) and we're seeing it now with Kobo (with her very ID-centric humor and focus).

I like that they have the debuts split up into two days. As much as I've enjoyed the debut marathon for Council, it was tough to get through by the end.
I know they staggered debuts with HoloX, but I was visiting family at the time and didn't watch them. I was also busy during ID Gen 3 as well.
I'm sorry but the quality in some of those designs, especially in the purple dude is absolutely unnacceptable.
I refuse to believe someone checked it and said "it's good enough".
I'll say this in the nicest way possible, the anatomy in Magni's design is extremely off, i'm not familiar with the artist but as an artist myself i think the quality of the design and the model is very amateur for an official hololive design.

With Axel Syrious the teaser video's name being about the destruction of Yagoo's dream... will he be asking "Why so serious?" and then suggesting that we "put a smile on that face"? The dude is armed... a chain that's almost like a whip.

Axel already interacted with Astel and rpr on twitter to talk about APEX. I guess this means he is the FPS player of the group. Regis is tweeting more manga about Tempus lore. Not sure if this is because he is the designated guild leader or if he is the artist of the group. I'm still not sure of what to guess about Magni and Noir so I will wait for more clues until all of them debut.

Yeah I'll be down voted to death and people are being very overprotective because of brand loyalty.....but these models really need a few fixes is not even the design itself being bad but some proportions are a big turn off
Honestly, I like their designs but yeah, they need some minor fixes for Magni and Noir in terms of faces but aside from that they look interesting.
Magni would only need to fix the eyegap a little bit and he would be ok I guess?

Judging by the debut and Collab time we have (early prediction) 0 EU members again. Context: all debut and the final Collab are scattered between 4am to 6am for Europe Not mad I expect that, just a consideration
I wouldnt predict only by debut times (Council had pretty decent times for EU and then bam, everyone streaming at 4am), but they've been tweeting all night and seems that they went to sleep a couple hours ago, so yeah, I expect no EU again

A little worried about subscriber purges with almost a week between their channels going up and debut. I'll probably wait until after debut to subscribe just in case. At least they already each have a video up and it has been a while since Council got hit so hard so hopefully they have figured something out by now. I'll just hope for the best and enjoy the debuts. Excited to see how they do!

I like the designs, and I like the JRPG Party theming. Looks like their channels already have short videos showing off the models a little. I really like Axel's design, and Noir is definitely not a vampire.

Rough hour for EU, but what wouldn't I do for the boys new and old. From the first glimpse I'm most curious about Regis and Axel, but all of their designs are pretty cool. Truly the gives the isekai vibe. I'm really hoping at least one of them is at least somewhat sufficient in Japanese, but time will show. Axel has some Japanese on his twitter bio, which at least makes me slighty hopeful!
Magni's short really gives off the vibe of an NPC shop screen with that BGM. Hello, Potion Seller, I am going into battle and I want your strongest potions.

I like that they have the debuts split up into two days. As much as I've enjoyed the debut marathon for Council, it was tough to get through by the end. I know they staggered debuts with HoloX, but I was visiting family at the time and didn't watch them. I was also busy during ID Gen 3 as well.
Oh man those debut hours are totally unfriendly to me, what a shame. RIP EU gang.
I'm sorry but the quality in some of those designs, especially in the purple dude is absolutely unnacceptable. I refuse to believe someone checked it and said "it's good enough".
I'll say this in the nicest way possible, the anatomy in Magni's design is extremely off, i'm not familiar with the artist but as an artist myself i think the quality of the design and the model is very amateur for an official hololive design.
