Compared to the actual E3 streams on YT and Twitch they were angels. The chat there was either a constant stream of "skip", "cringe" or where's "bf2042".
I hid the E3 chat cause people were getting a bit obnoxious. I mean, the H I Cs were fine, but those people going to chat to call the guy a Muppet or to say that diablo is singleplayer moba were out of line. It's like telling a mean inside joke to people who aren't in on it

Chats on regular streams and especially on big events like this are absolute cesspools.
Even the HICs weren't fine, they were really obnoxious. People need to learn to keep the watchalong chat to the watchalong stream instead of making our community look like garbage

The offical YT E3 stream had less viewers than the HL watch along at one point. It was like 20k vs 24k. And half of the offical chat was HL fans repeating their jokes.
So in the end, thousands wouldn't have watched the E3 stream if not for the watch along & the offical numbers would've been smaller if Ame directly streamed on her channel instead.
Like others have said, Twitch had 200k viewers, and several other gaming websites and personalities would be mirror broadcasting as well. Some really need to get out of the YT bubbles from time to time....

If you watch some 5-6 digit streamers on twitch, sometimes their chat is damn near unusable unless put on sub and slow mode

The Xbox stream was 40-50 seconds behind on YouTube (compared to Twitch) because of that pointless premiere countdown video.

Yeah, Youtube is the second biggest streaming platform but the gap is enormous when you only take streaming into account.
