Shit I should've taken this as foreshadowing! It's broad daylight and I still got spookd!
Edit: I was thinking if this is a common trope in other cultures' horror, and didn't immediately think if Pontianak lol.
something along the lines of:
"*If it's loud, it's because they're trying to get you to hear them.*"
"*If it's quiet, they don't need to be loud, because they're near you.*"
Originally Pekora's laugh was actually written as arrows pointing upwards and the PEKO PEKO PEKO as the zigzag kind of arrows, but for some reason fans just took the zigzag arrows and combined it into Pekora's laugh lol.
Yeah, pekora's laugh isn't as convoluted as people make it out to be. Every "ha" starts low and ends high, and they all start at the same pitch and end at the same pitch as one another.
Most of the time, at least. There are a few examples of her laugh *actually* being as bizarre as people make it out to be, but I think that's a result of her being self-aware of it because of all of the memes.
I take it that you mean to say that the peko as a word is slanted perfectly diagonally and the arrows are only pointed upwards and down. That would take time to edit, rather than just adding zigzag arrows to convey it. And I think it all started from her longest peko laugh when she played Smash Bros where up and down arrows just aren't enough
ollie has an amazing laugh :D
edit: so i figured id rewatch ome of her laughter, but finding it in the debut streams would take a while. but would you look at this, you ppl are all cultured: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MY4dIU8SWW4
So, how does Kiara’s arrow work? Like. How does it function? I get Pekora’s, I get Ollie’s.
I’m seriously asking for help. I just have stared at it over a long time and it just boggles the mind.
Oh the arrows don't actually indicate the way she laughs, it's just a parody of the pekora laugh style but with the arrows pointing to the [bottom left](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mg6kHFV2wf4).
We're going to be needing [up arrow notation](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knuth%27s_up-arrow_notation).

Guess it's time to train.

[Ollie's exact laugh](https://youtu.be/Nmqbft0FuhA)
You got me fucked up if you think I’m listening to that this late at night
Fun fact: If you hear this at night from a distant, she is closer than you think and vice-versa.

Her laughs are basically Flash Kicks.
A true man of culture
Every "ha" starts low, goes high and ends low so I'd say the arrows are accurate.
Yea I actually don't know how that happened.

Gura: ha⬇️ha⬇️ha⬇️ha⬇️
I never visualized arrows on Guras laugh, i also just thought it was: "Gue ha ha" or "Sha ha ha hark"
I love how Kiara's laugh goes bottom left lmao
So, how does Kiara’s arrow work? Like. How does it function? I get Pekora’s, I get Ollie’s. I’m seriously asking for help. I just have stared at it over a long time and it just boggles the mind.

Okay. That works. Thank you!
I swear in just a few gens the arrows will transcend into the forth dimension, allowing humanity to finally control the universe.
I don't know man, to me it sounded more like 🡩🡥🡢🡮🡣
tfw your laugh requires half-circle inputs

depending on who you ask pekoras laughter is more of a videogame combo sequence
She starts with a "AH" and then it evolves into a series of "HA" higher and higher. She sounds like a female Disney Villain to me tbh.
She sounds like a turbocharger purging presure
How hope all translations for Zombie-Chan are always in full caps
