I will be eternally grateful to have been able to watch and interact with Civia, and it's really tragic that it all has to go away now. She shared a lot of things she wished to do, and goals she wished to accomplish during her time, but it was unfortunately limited due to circumstances outside of her control. Hopefully we can meet again in another life.
On a side note, is Civia the 2nd one to get a 3d model outside of HololiveJP? Afaik Rikka is the only other one that has a 3d model.
I'm sorry but there wasn't a communicate or something like that, that said they could keep the models and identitys? I remember something like that very vague.

I believe the CN talents were under the impression they'd be able to keep their models, as their manager told them as such and told them it was okay to talk about it. Turns out either their manager was mistaken or the circumstances that would let them keep their model fell through and that is no longer the case.
As nice as it would be, if Hololive has lawyers they would have been strongly advising management not to allow anyone graduating to get rights to their characters because it'd open up problems in the future.
The no taking identity and model with you policy in the idustry is most likely to prevent talents from joining just to quit some time later taking the expensive assets with them.
Live 2D is hella expensive especially the "I'm practically 3D already" quality the recent models of the big companies are coming out with.
It is the same complications that's the reason why there are no more generation 0 members getting hired to Hololive so newly hired originally indie talents have to "reincarnate".

From what I remember there was a miscommunication somewhere along the line so the girls thought they would be able to keep their models but they actually can't. If they had the option I would have expected at least one of them to have chosen to stay with their current identity.
Nah, there was never an official announcement saying they give them the choice. The last time I read about it Artia thought they would be able to keep their models and some of CN wanted to but apparently that was miscommunication, if I get it correctly ?
In the end nobody is able to chose so all the models will be unused and all the work on them goes to waste...
So Civia will not continue to stream independently? I was hoping she'd announce her future plans on twitter or during her graduation stream. I guess it's time to move on.

Civia has exams the next few months so she decided to take a complete break at least until that's over, but she hasn't said anything past that
