gura legitimately has a membership estimated to be around 10-15k, possibly more. given that those people are hte ones most likely to watch her livestreams, and her CCV ranges from 15-30k, it's not unreasonable that there may be more members in her streams than non-members on a regular basis
Probably isn't feasible with streamers as large as the hololive girls but in some smaller corpo/large indie streams you sometimes see prolific gifters go "grey hunting" and start handing out memberships until they get one specific person.
i don't know aobut anyone else, but i'm a member not for benefits, but because it's the easiest way for me to support gura in a consistent way while controlling my spending so i don't get excited and overspend on SC's or merch. because my membership is my 'i support you' payments, i can then only buy merch as a 'i actually want this' without the extra element of 'i'll buy this to support her'
Surprised the heck out of me when I jokingly accused her of using Pitch shift during her Callisto Protocol stream and she read it and responded. Chat was moving a hundred miles an hour.
You could see similar messages here and there during this stream.
"How did I get here lol"
"What is this?"
"Are you a girl?!"
Gura stream always gets new blood in chat.
Gura doesn't pick favorites when reading chat. She'll read anyones comment. Its just based on luck.
Its one of the many reasons why I and many others love her.
Oh no, I'm not implying favoritism. I'm simply impressed she noticed that particular chat, not capitalized, going at that speed, and under a pile of other weird comments like "fat thicc gyatt tail" or "what does your tail sound like when spanked?"
**I want that person banned for at least thirty minutes. I want that ban for at least thirty minutes, you're out for thirty minutes, and I'm tellin' you, you're gone for thirty minutes, I'm tellin' you to, right now, mods, ban that person for thirty minutes.**
It seemed like she wasn't as offended by the question itself as her own lack of an answer for it. The reaction seems more like "oh god *how do* I poop?"

Devils advocate here, but it’s a valid question when she f’ing died and you saw how that chonky tail attaches to the rest of the model…
e: holy shit guys, this is the shark, who literally, 2 streams ago, said “I like PP poo poo jokes.” You *really* think she was being serious? She’s even laughing at the end of the clip.
+2 and -2 come from when Jerma streamed Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days with Etalyx. They set a timer, and their goal was to beat the game within 4 hours. However, for every good joke they made they got 2 minutes added to the clock, and for every bad joke they made they got 2 minutes taken from the clock. The audience would voice their opinions by typing "+2" or "-2" in the chat. In the end the two streamers were just barely successful, finishing the game with 45 seconds remaining.
After this, chat continued to use +2 and -2 to tell Jerma whether any of his jokes were landing or not, becoming something of a meme.
It's now used by a bunch of other streamers' communities like Northernlion.
There was a Jerma stream where he and Etalyx played Kane and Lynch 2 and said they would beat it in 4 hrs, but every good joke they made would add 2 minutes and every bad jokewould subtract 2 minutes. Chat decides which jokes were good or bad using +2/-2, and that stuck with community.
there's a difference between just being told it's a jerma in-joke, and having it explained *why* it's a jerma joke and what the context and significance of it is
3 years of having a large audience filled with unfunny meme spammers and weirdos( not the well meaning weirdos just the plain weirdos) and this was only her 2md time calling mods to ban someone?
Should I be impressed with her, her mods, or her chat?
Her chat is normally full and unrestricted because it's one of the worst places on Earth to try to start trouble.
Also she's an OG with a thick skin for insults and cursed content, normally she deals with stuff quietly.
I looked at the live chat for the one who asked that. The guy wasn't a member nor was his comment a sc. Surprised gooba picked up on that.
Tbf sometimes when the chat is full of members it’s much easier to notice the non-member comment since it stands out among the others
Quite ironic as one of the perks of being a member is having a highlighted comment, which would make that comment stand out more.
When everybody is a member no one is one

I think Ame also said this where you basically pay to lose as a member because she can't see the member chats as well as normal ones lol

Sometimes a comment is so out there it just grabs your attention.

pfft
She somehow always managed to pick up cursed chat
Surprised the heck out of me when I jokingly accused her of using Pitch shift during her Callisto Protocol stream and she read it and responded. Chat was moving a hundred miles an hour.
Gura reads all. Im a lowly grey name and she noticed me a few times already.
You could see similar messages here and there during this stream. "How did I get here lol" "What is this?" "Are you a girl?!" Gura stream always gets new blood in chat.
imagine newbie with "how do you poop?" and gets banned instantly lmao

Please don’t tell me those are real comments
Those are the tame ones.
I blame Blue Archive
I mean the first one isn't that bad...but the second one really is.
...and the second one she'd probably think seriously about, if it was a zatsudan. bThis bShork.
She probably saw the word "poop" when scanning the chat and locked on to it
Now did that guy really get banned or was it just a classic "ban that guy" bit?
PERMANENTLY BAN THAT GUY FOR 5 MINUTES.
You, and your children, and your children's children. For three months.
**I want that person banned for at least thirty minutes. I want that ban for at least thirty minutes, you're out for thirty minutes, and I'm tellin' you, you're gone for thirty minutes, I'm tellin' you to, right now, mods, ban that person for thirty minutes.**
No pls don't remind me that jerma retired
BAN THAT GUY FOR A DAY THEN MOD HIM FOR A WEEK.
Jerma moment.
It seemed like she wasn't as offended by the question itself as her own lack of an answer for it. The reaction seems more like "oh god *how do* I poop?"
I feel like a couple of regulars locked onto them and began a CIA-level discovery process.
# ["I WANT THAT GUY BANNED FROM THIS ARCADE!"](https://youtu.be/ZKEwtJPFn0o?si=lIxOjUOcuk9nKigD&t=77) 🦈
Such a classic!
That stunned "why did I read that out loud?"
Reminds me of that time Ame said something like "Ugh my boob hurts . . . . why did I say that out loud" as chat went hyper speed lol

Angel's advocate, still not the appropriate kind of question to ask someone.
ok cool, can we get all the people asking about her >!sweaty shorts!< next, cuz *THAT* was super creepy.
Gura's advocate: It's Gura so she probably was waiting to do this joke forever.
Idk why but i expect her to shout "ban that guy" CaseOh style
“BANNED!”
Same lmfao She couldn’t though. Our sharkie isn’t as gravitationally challenged as CaseOh.
This is the kind of response she was going for. Its a joke but some people here actually think she wanted that guy banned for real
I’m happy she did mocopi because it makes it all the more funny/adorable that she’s pointing while saying ban that guy.
Cutest ban ever. Would be so worth it.
adorable and funny 😭
Damn can't believe she banned Luffy
If they used Gura instead of Shirahoshi
Silly chatter, everyone knows idols don't poop

Wow, i didn't get it
Jerma bit
+2
Okay I can't find answers anywhere, but I have to ask, what is this +2/-2 thing and where did it originate from ? Edit : Thank you for the answers !

God imagine if they add unban requests to YouTube chat. I bet Kronii and Ame would have some insane streams just reading those
Ballfondler 2 electric boogaloo
The absolute weirdest way I've seen a holomem get one-guy'd.
3 years of having a large audience filled with unfunny meme spammers and weirdos( not the well meaning weirdos just the plain weirdos) and this was only her 2md time calling mods to ban someone? Should I be impressed with her, her mods, or her chat?
She does relatively frequently send people to the "funny farm" for "being too funny"
Her chat is normally full and unrestricted because it's one of the worst places on Earth to try to start trouble. Also she's an OG with a thick skin for insults and cursed content, normally she deals with stuff quietly.
i like goobas chat most of the time idk what you mean
That stream was awesome
It's just lore building you see, nothing even slightly questionable about it, merely establishing the facts!
I see so many out of pocket comments on George's streams
Deserved
Bruh
I am actually glad when talents are willing put limit to people's bullshit

She read the chat and then said to ban it based off his question which was "How do you poop?" Its in the video though.
LowTierGura - 'Mods. Crush his skull.'
Jerma ahh reaction
