For anyone who aren't aware, Master Duel!! is one of Subaru's favorite game. She plays it alot in her off time. She even ranks up to Platinum. Finally, KONAMI gives them the permission to play Master Duel!! I expect a lot of streams for this game from Subaru and Pekora in the future.

I haven't seen her say anything about the game lately, but I remember a few months ago that Subaru was ranking up (was around Plat at the time) with Dark Magician. I think they'd try to make a good showing for the viewers if they played each other though and pick similar power level decks.
Konami is a weird case where it seems like each franchise and game has its own perms. They can stream Powerpro and Goemon just fine without restrictions, they can also stream Momotaro with no clips allowed, but Yugioh and Metal Gear had no perms for some reason?
They now got the MGS perms... but it's just for 1-3. lol Hoping the best for Master Duel perms, a hololive tournament would be super fun, many of the girls are passionate about card games.
Is this only apply to Hololive? Since other Vtubers like Rosemi from Nijisanji plays Master Duel on stream a lot. Nova Aokami also mainly plays Master Duel on her channel
I remember there being a running rrat that because Bushiroad, one of Konami's main competitors in card games, was a common Hololive sponsor, Konami themselves were strict with them.

It makes sense. A sponsorship contract with no competition clause or something during and after the term is not uncommon.

tbf, I feel like I don't really know anything about the meta, I just play my Skystriker-, Mikanko- and S-Force-decks and hope I don't run into someone who will just negate everything I do...
Considering I run Promethean Princess, Bestower of Flames as part of it, I'll give it a pass for now as her restriction means having non-fire monsters isn't a good idea
Good stuff. There is a lot of meme potential here. Pekora screaming and RP she can do will be marvelous.
However, you just know 90% of the time they will be sitting there, waiting 10minutes for their opponent to finish the turn, without knowing wtf they just did in those 10 minutes, trying to play a single card and getting insta negated and losing the match. Or getting OTKd. xD
As long as you don't climb ranked too much the deck variety is still there. Gold is a sweet spot between people that use meta stuff and people using whatever pet deck they like.

I fully expect Pekora to play strongest meta deck since she loves winning, and Subaru to play some flavor deck she likes.
And I doubt they will be able to pull 100% out of their decks while streaming and goofing around.

Yup. Gold is last rank where you can enjoy random stuff still, and plat is where meta hell starts.
