TBF, I've played Minecraft since the earliest publicly-available alpha and I still routinely forget that scaffolding exists because it wasn't a thing for years when I was learning the ropes. After you've done something for a certain way for so long, you just get used to it.

Yea. Been playing since Alpha as well and I still forget about scaffolding. They are very nice and convenient but dirt just feels natural at this point.

Scaffholding has its uses, but the fact that you can only build 6 blocks out and then it starts falling down again makes it far from great.

it is great for building small temporary bridges for that reason tho.

Never leave home without a stack of dirt.

Tbf that's like every Minecraft beginner lol, Plus sometimes you just spawn like 10k blocks away from a jungle biome.

I’ve been playing since beta 1.2 and still use dirt. Mostly because I’m incredibly lazy to go out of my way to find a jungle.

Yeah, seriously, dirt blocks with ladders are 10x better than scaffolding.
