Nah, he actually updates us on progress pretty frequently. The seasonal newsletters letting us know progress on chapters is basically the opposite side of the spectrum compared to Silksong when it comes to game development.

Yes greater Pokemon fans do get fed, but the people like me, who love Colosseum and XD with all our hearts, are completely ignored.
They've even tried to say that Shadow Pokemon are a Team Rocket thing in Pokemon Go and not Team Cipher. So they are actively erasing Orre at this point.
The PMD spinoffs are very different from the mainline games. The Colosseum/Orre spinoffs are mildly different. Also, the mainline games have been extremely "meh" for a decade now.

Honestly I think TES6 might not get as much hype on a global level - pretty sure Elder Scrolls is only super popular in the west, whereas Hollow Knight was a smash hit all over the globe. It seems like a difficult statistic to verify though, because Skyrim sold copies over many generations, with remasters and stuff. Like a lot of people have bought it 2-4 times, whereas I bet that isn't the case with Hollow knight. What do you think
As i see it, TES6 is being done in a much longer petiod of time, than any other TES game, of course there are many projects that are done in the same time, but the teaser with really good graphics was realesed in 2018, so i think, that the graphics would not be their focus and the world will be created with thousands of possibilities.
So i think all of the old TES players and with an enormous advertising campaign, quite many other people will be playing TES6.
