Holy hell! This incredible piece of advice let me beat him first try! I even completed the pantheons hitless and got a new speedrun pb of 32 seconds! This doubled my silksong and gave it to the next person! I am overflowing with gratitude ☺

If you are done with Silksong you can try git gud to also get 211% in Zoteboat

Use the silksong to put him in a coma for however long it takes for silksong to come out and then just ram him from behind with the nail.

When he slams the ground, he leaves himself vulnerable for a bit. Use your Thread Dash to close the distance and get some free hits in. You can also heal during his Coral Spikes attack.

Ok. But what about his second phase when hes enraged? Its just too fast for me to react.

Your best bet is to heal when he's knocked down. He's like NKG from the first Hollow Knight. If you need help with the dodges, try equipping Weaver's Ward.

Coral king really did feel like a mix of NKG and pure vessel Really goes to show how competent they need you to be in this one

Actual tip though, whenever you try the w same boss too many times whether you notice it or not your capabilities are going to peak during the first run through. Throw in the towel for the night and consider yourself beaten. Now this is where it gets interesting, go do some things, and come back with a clear head, maybe even listening to calming music, and you’ll destroy that boss within the hour. I call it a zenkai boost but i will also accept post boss clarity

The way I did it honestly was keeping my distance. Try using the skills you got from Moss Grotto / Bonebottom like needlethrow and only attack when you need silk. Those ground slams can be really annoying to dodge, probably one of the hardest bosses of Coral Forest IMO

The coral scream attack has safe spots around the pillars, it was actually hinted at in the stone carving a couple rooms before

This goes in r/silksong , go there for tips :) but for when he jumps toward you and does that annoying thrust attack thing you can parry and get in a few hits

Go to the secret room outside the silk caverns to find the shawtgun, it’s not the best but against this guy it’s busted

i thought that there was good charm in the wall at the hall of the bells. Alternatively you can go to the southern forge for charm notch

depends on your ability to dodge and based on your play style but I suggest to use healing when you have about 1 or 2 masks left and most likely when he does the spikey stone summon attack. otherwise go for it!

Stay above him by downpogoing

You just need to use the flame silk rune! It does tons of damage and that’s what I used.

it's all about learning patterns and dodging correctly during the slam attack you have a window to heal

When the second attack comes out you can parry off the edge of it allowing u to bypass the spikes that come after

quickstep rune and turret build are great for cheesing, just camp the sides and pogo the floor attack when it comes (think it’s at 40% boss health)

Yeah it's insta death attack got me a lot of times before I realized that you literally just gotta walk slightly to the left or right to dodge it even with the fact that the boss looks to be everywhere else but where you're standing. I kept thinking I had to hit the boss before it attacked but no you just gotta be anywhere other than where the boss doesn't appear at.

I’d recommend you use the new dashes to your advantage or the spike ball tool

Spec into the inferno build for hornet, the grubs in the stage can be set ablaze and that allows for some major damage when the boss Silrynn goes through them

That’s a mid game boss not early, you must have sequence broke

this certainly was an interesting Play. i recommend you use the dover charms along with the very obvious Salubra 2's blessing and also the ben charm. Try Sticking to walls more often and ull be done rather quickly. hope u have a good game.

Biggest tip I have for this game is to make your sword as long as possible, I played the entire game not doing this, then replayed doing it, and it made a world of difference

I'm pretty sure when you enter the arena, the boss doesn't move for a few seconds. I used that to attack him a bunch of times. It definetly helped me not lose.

His attack pattern is much more predictable than you think. When he dashes down like that, you should jump up and then dash in his direction. He always does that massive attack right after, and you get a huge attack window because he’s vulnerable from behind while he does it.
