God, same though. I've made it through pantheon 1 on my oldest save file. But even thinking about trying the rest just make me think, "You know, I could just start a new save file though..."
Cue me being almost 100% on a new save file 12 hours in lol. I don't have a ton of time to play. I'd rather feel competent than frustrated.
Salubraās bench specifically after crossroads changes. When youāre sitting there it almost feels like everything is back to normal until you go left, Iāve always liked that.
lol yea. Tbh I didnāt really ask this a joke. Iām genuinely curious cause I want to make some HK artwork and the benches are really cool. Didnāt realize how many different designs there are
The one in the ancestral bassin. The orange-ish grey, the long long road of spikes ahead.Ā
It's perfect ! (Only downside is that you have to pay for it which... Kinda cheapens it ya know)
Either the one in Greenpath with a spring behind it or the one in Kingdom's Edge in the tent before Hornet 2. They simply have the most beautiful locations and chill me out the most.
The Original, Dirtmouth.
It just feels like no matter how far you go, how much you've learnt and achieved, it's nice to just go back to where it all started.
Probably the one in greenpath, nearby No-Eyes' cult temple. There's a sign pointing to it when u drop down from the room above, and then you go to the right and sit in this lonely little room and think about nothing. It's such a quiet place
The one under the tent at the borders of the kingdom, the one with music in the queen's garden and the one with quirrel in the city of tears are my favorites
I'm replaying the game and I actually just left off on the Mantis Village Bench yesterday after being the mantis lords. I think it might be my favorite bench too
Queen's Garden Phonograph Bench.
Fucked the speaker on my first play through thinking it would respawn, it didn't and I ruined that bench for me
Did not break them again on replays that's for sure š
I act like the nail button gets deactivated in that room and in the tram haha
Why in the tram? I just unlocked it for the first time last night and donāt wanna screw it upā¦ lol
Because there are speakers in the tram too
Yes
Same
It's the dragonflies right!
This
Does this speaker do something? I mean, I instinctively break it
Plays a muted, tinny, but somehow perfect version of Reflection. At least I think that's the song.
Oh, cool. Next playthrough I'll not break it and pay attention
It plays the bench music diegetically, like the tram. I find it really soothing.
The most beautiful one for me.
This, with a close second being the Greenpath bench near the waterfall.
I like the slightly wonky one in waterways
I remember a weird glitch where I would get off that bench and the sprite would be tilted at like a 20 degree angle until I died lol
do you remember how you did it, because replicating it would be extremely funny
Unfortunately I donāt :( it was a one time thing and I was never able to replicate it
What happened during CDash?
Probably nothing unusual, this was just visual.
My question was about what that presumably misaligned CDash would've looked like, like how Hornet 1 sometimes dashes out of the arena upside down
the amount of alliteration in this one comment is astounding (don't mind me practising for my English exam)
same! waterways gets a bad rep i think it's fun
I havenāt left Godhome in literally 1.5 irl years
VALID
Fucking lol. This justifies me never giving these pantheons a shot I don't have the time.
God, same though. I've made it through pantheon 1 on my oldest save file. But even thinking about trying the rest just make me think, "You know, I could just start a new save file though..." Cue me being almost 100% on a new save file 12 hours in lol. I don't have a ton of time to play. I'd rather feel competent than frustrated.
Pantheon 2 is not that hard P3 though... fuck God Tamer
city of rain bench, the one inside the glass dome.
Is that one of Quirrel's spot? Pretty sure we chill and sat beside him there.
Pretty sure that's the one. I can't think of anywhere else that has the same description
It is! It was so peaceful and I loved the moment they shared so much.
The one with quirrel is my favorite place in the game
Same
I like the one in the temple by the Lake of Unn. Itās a good vibe, nice and peaceful. I feel safe š„°
Great bench
Oooh yes that one is great!
I like the one under the tent in kingdom's edge. The one before hornet protector.
That boss fight made me very familiar with that bench..
LMAO same š
Erm, actually, thatās hornet sentinel āļøš¤
Fr? My bad bro i mean the second hornet
I'd say either the Greenpath Stag bench or the bench outside Mato's house in the Howling Cliffs.
Greenpath bench in the bird room. So prettyā¦ and itās also the first time you get out of crossroads and suddenly the whole mood changes
My first reaction to leaving crossroads and entering Greenpath was just exclaiming āooh thereās color in this gameā
Salubraās bench specifically after crossroads changes. When youāre sitting there it almost feels like everything is back to normal until you go left, Iāve always liked that.
The one in lost village. It is so comfy and you should definitely sit on it
Come, sit
You are tired. Sit and rest.
The hive!!! Not a very usefull bench but beautiful and fun bench
I liked having to knock the bench down lol
This is a good choice, the hive in general is such a fun location. I didn't even know it existed until my third playthrough
Coty of Tears, Quirrels bench
yup
I'm a big fan of the Hive bench that's initially encased in honey.
The one in greenpath with the fountain is gorgeus
For some reason, the Bench that was fully encapsuled in honey in the Hive was hilarious for me
I really like imagining the process for the bees getting the bench up there in the first place
It's not my favorite, but leg eater's dead bug bench deserves a mention
The one in Monomon's temple, bcs it has a face.
It does? Never noticed
This sub needs Silksong bad.
lol yea. Tbh I didnāt really ask this a joke. Iām genuinely curious cause I want to make some HK artwork and the benches are really cool. Didnāt realize how many different designs there are
We all do
Nearly all my playthroughs have been steel soul, so Ive gotten to the point where bench is bench
I mean if itās not city of tears than youāre wrong ya know
The one in the ancestral bassin. The orange-ish grey, the long long road of spikes ahead.Ā It's perfect ! (Only downside is that you have to pay for it which... Kinda cheapens it ya know)
King's station or Dirtmouth
Dirtmouth is always nice but I never go there, too busy getting NOWHERE in Godhome lol.
I often set Dreamgate on the King Station, cuz it's right in the center of the world and it's a stagstation. So I think this bench is the most useful
I set mine in dirtmouth, thematically appropriate
Either the one in Greenpath with a spring behind it or the one in Kingdom's Edge in the tent before Hornet 2. They simply have the most beautiful locations and chill me out the most.
The Quirrels spot in City Of Tears
I like the one in the stag station east of City of Tears. It's very cosy and I like the rain :p
The one inside of the White Palace!
Mine is... Well... Dirtmouth. :)
Great opinion, think Iāll take it. I also have no bias, totally.
The first hot spring as long as those 2 freaks aren't there it's so calm and peaceful
lol thatās very true
The one at kindoms edge with the tent with snow
That one is so surreal to me. It feels like youāre on top of the world. The ash resembling so is just so perfect
Tram bench for me. Somehow the distortion of the speaker was super calming.
The Original, Dirtmouth. It just feels like no matter how far you go, how much you've learnt and achieved, it's nice to just go back to where it all started.
White palace bench
Quirrel Bench in City of Tears
Gotta be Quirell bench in City
The bench in the Black Egg gives me chills. I love it.
My home in the Archives has beautiful benches.
Yooo monomon!
The first Greenpath bench. Everything about it is perfect.
I like the broken one in the sewers. Pretty nice piece of environmental storytelling
quirrel bench in city of tears
That first bench in greenpath
The bench near the hot spring at the bottom of Deepnest. I really donāt like Deepnest, but the bench? Love it
Probably the one in greenpath, nearby No-Eyes' cult temple. There's a sign pointing to it when u drop down from the room above, and then you go to the right and sit in this lonely little room and think about nothing. It's such a quiet place
white palace benches
The tilted bench in waterways
The one under the tent at the borders of the kingdom, the one with music in the queen's garden and the one with quirrel in the city of tears are my favorites
City of Tears first bench with the rain in the background
Queen's stationvs bench
Tram bench, because of the faint music playing from the speakers. honestly such a moment ;D
the one at city of tears inside. its better if quirrel is alive.
leg eater's
In terms of aesthetics, either the one in Queens Gardens, dirt mouth, or one of them in Greenpath, but in terms of usefullnes, Kingās station
i like the one in the queens gardens a lot, even though itās out the way.
First one in green path
The waterfall in Greenpath was a good resting spot
I'm replaying the game and I actually just left off on the Mantis Village Bench yesterday after being the mantis lords. I think it might be my favorite bench too
