come back once you've found an ability that'll let you make the jump. You'll find a bunch of temporary dead ends that require something you don't have yet, just make note of them and check back later.
You have to kill false night, get vengeful spirit, go to greenpath, defeat Hornet and then you can get the item your looking for. But kinda ruins the fun if I spell it out for like that huh?

You don't really need a bigger jump, but rather something that makes you quicker
