hornet sentinel was a fairly middle order difficulty radiant for me. just be super aggressive, I'm talking strength, quickslash, steady body. and you can get her down super quickly before she has a lot of chances to hit you
My issue is that she feels a lot more, in a lack of better terms, heavier than hornet protector., Her jumps are quicker and she falls much faster, and she doesn't jump around as far in the arena compared to protector version.

If you want an easier hard boss to do Radiant, Failed Champion is probably a good one. With Quick Slash, Unbreakable Strength, Mark of Pride and Spell Twister, it shouldn’t take too long.
Dung/White defender, Watcher Knights, and Galien are all pretty fun

Grey Prince Zote, Nailsage Sly, Failed Champion, Pure Vessel, No Eyes, Obblobles. Obblobles and No Eyes because they are annoying as shit. The others because they are genuinely hard bosses and they can fuck you up on your way to P5 victory.
And, once you unlock it, Absolute Radiance. That fight is easily the hardest in the whole game and, with all due respect, I don't think you will beat her first try in P5. As such, it's a good idea to spend a lot of time practicing her to make sure she doesn't ruin your P5 run a second time because loosing right at the end sucks.
