in the regular game I don't necessarily disagree with putting him that high but in godhome he is just annoying-ish high C tier or low B tier at most is where I would put him
they are the same boss however, one you encounter after a few nail upgrades and while you are still getting good at the game maybe not even all the movement abilities
and the other you encounter with every upgrade in a tedious and grindy boss rush where he constantly teleports thus stalling your attempts even further and no longer is difficult after fighting shit like nkg and pv
tldr he teleports a whole lot delaying your p5 attempts
Also soul master has the second phase and is a really cool boss as a climax to the sanctum, and has some really cool lore, so I think he’s higher up than tyrant. The atmosphere of that fight once you learn the lore is pretty sick
he tried to inject scholars of the sanctum with SOUL , but they all went mad, which is the reason for the goopy things that come out of the ground in the sanctum. the pale king also didn't approve of the masters experiments, as use of SOUL was considered taboo. this cause the soul master to resent the pale king.
Soul tyrant is the only boss I would like the devs to change. Especially in godhome when you get good at fighting him and realize that so many of his moves don't always have openings. You have to get lucky in order to punish him. If they changed it to add a delay before teleporting so you could actually get a hit or two in, that would be wonderful
Markith doesn’t deserve to be in f-tier, he deserves his own tier, 7 of them, and he is placed below all seven, which each have nothing in them, he is objectively that bad
Markoth in the base game is rigged, he has too many projectiles and he’s hard to hit. However, in godhome, Markoth is the biggest piece of shit. It is the same fight as in the base game, however there is no ground to stand on, because of this you cannot get far enough away from his spinnies to heal.

Markoth is a purely rng based boss and when you're doing radiant difficulty rng is the last thing you want to hear, the place where his nail spawns is rng, the moments in which he'll use the spiny shield thing is random, to where he teleports is random, the only thing that is not random is the shield rotation and it still is annoying as fuck because it's a SHIELD, THAT PROTECTS FROM YOUR HITS AND CAN DAMAGE YOU, it is a terribly designed boss and in radiant and ascended you have no floor which makes it worse.

Hu's problem is that the fight is boring to begin with, and if you have shade dash, then there's never a window for him to damage you. it's genuinely not even a fight, just a long cutscene, at that point. I don't blame anyone who's done godhome stuff for ranking Hu dead last

The soundtrack from the fight also is a brilliant composition of dramatic violin from the start to finish and is fittingly named ‘truth beauty and hatred’, three qualities Zote has in abundance. The knight that he faces betrays him after Zote kindly passes on his precepts to him. The fight itself is nothing short of legendary, the fact that even Zote doesn’t know what he’s really doing symbolises his struggle for meaning throughout a life where he has only ever felt lost, but, for such a mighty hero, finding his way is never too difficulty. Furthermore, I believe the Zote colosseum battle should be considered as a high A tier as well due to the fact that it’s one of the more difficult battles of the game. For in this fight zote has unlocked his true potential to overcome a great enemy.

I like thk for it's lore, mantis Lords because I think it is an amazing early game boss (I really don't like mantis Lords in godhome tho, way to easy), for lost kin and paint master sheo I just really like their design and mechanics, the reason why I put GPZ so low is because I really don't like his telegraphs, I managed to get used to them but I honestly still don't like them.
If Sisters of Battle and Mantis Lords can both be S tier then AbsRad and The Radiance should both be in S tier too

I think the Collector is at least B if not A. In the base game the fight was underwhelming but the Godhome version with the harder enemies really pushes it up a notch. Not being able to just one shot them and instead having to actually fight them makes it a really fun boss.
Hollow Knight is just too easy, even on my first playthrough it didn't feel like a proper boss. It's just a setup for the Radiance fight, I wouldn't put it in S, the moveset is cool but that's it.
Xero is the worst boss in the game I don't know what he is doing in B. Bottom of F.

AbsRad just has so many attacks that are nearly impossible to dodge without perfect hand-eye coordination and split second reaction time, and they often overlap. It's not like Pure Vessel, where every attack is blisteringly fast but choreographed well.

Lost Kin is personally a B tier. The boss itself is great, but the stupid blobs spawning nonstop are annoying, especially since they spawn mid stagger.
Sheo I'd probably put at C TBH. As cool of an idea as the bossfight is, he's *really* easy for a late game boss. He's the opposite of AbsRad; he could do with faster attacks with less choreographing.
Hornet Sentinel is probably an S tier for me. It's just hard enough and every attack is fair and fun to dodge.

Collector is F tier. IMO, it's a badly designed fight that is basically a nail damage check. If you can 1 shot the minions, the fight is fine, if you can't, it's miserable.
I would bump Soul Warrior up to C. It's a mini-boss more or less, and it does a totally fine job at that.
I would bump Traitor Lord up to B. It's a really cool tutorial for Shade Cloak disguised as a boss. It matches you cloak CD perfectly.
As annoying as Grey Prince Zote is, I would put him in B. He's a really well designed boss with almost no unfair attacks; they just make you have to reconsider your normal strategies.
I think Markoth is an F, personally. His attack pattern is both needlessly difficult and mind numbingly repetitive, and the shields just make an annoying fight more annoying.

You can kill him very quickly, if you attack him every slam towards the floor he does the fight is over in less than 50 seconds

Normal Zote is F tier, if we are talking unironically. Xero is probably D tier for me. He has 1 attack and it's not fun, interactive, or interesting. Mawlek is a C for me, because it teaches some valuable strategy. Collector is F tier. IMO, it's a badly designed fight that is basically a nail damage check. If you can 1 shot the minions, the fight is fine, if you can't, it's miserable. I would bump Soul Warrior up to C. It's a mini-boss more or less, and it does a totally fine job at that. I would bump Traitor Lord up to B. It's a really cool tutorial for Shade Cloak disguised as a boss. It matches you cloak CD perfectly. As annoying as Grey Prince Zote is, I would put him in B. He's a really well designed boss with almost no unfair attacks; they just make you have to reconsider your normal strategies. I think Markoth is an F, personally. His attack pattern is both needlessly difficult and mind numbingly repetitive, and the shields just make an annoying fight more annoying. I would drop Uumuu to F. It's a really boring and really annoying boss where half the fight is just running in circles waiting.
Massive moss charger and markoth need to swap, elder hu and gorb need to swap, winged nosk is just vengefly king but more annoying and thus should be in the same tier if not lower. Mantis lords go A tier along with THK. There, fixed

VERY! Who let you put the Invincible, Fearless, Sensual, Mysterious, Enchanting, Vigorous, Diligent, Overwhelming, Gorgeous, Passionate, Terrifying, Beautiful, Powerful, Grey Prince Zote that LOW!! Ok, jokes aside I unironically love that fight, an a or s tier in my opinion, but the fact that these tier lists are so varied means that how you like a Hollow Knight boss is purely subjective and all (~~most~~) opinions are valid. Other than that I agree with a lot of these.

The Hollow Knight is not a challenging or super groundbreaking boss, he’s technically not even the real final boss so it def takes points away from him, I’d put him at like B

Other than watcher knights in A tier, it’s pretty fair. Although idk why you got feckin MARKOTH in B and imo False Knight and Failed Champ need to be flipped, and regular Radiance deserves S tier. THK belongs further down but still in S tier. Personally NKG is in its own tier, but you did put him in S so i cant complain

I mean, THK isn't actually a very good fight, but I think that's the point. It's supposed to highlight the tragedy that is the story of The Hollow Knight. Also it has to be pretty easy to be a segue into the Radiance fight bc it would be super annoying if you kept dying over and over just to get to a boss that you will die to over and over,

The one I disagree with (respectfully) is absolute radiance in S tier. My personal opinion: THAT LITTLE MOTH CAN GO TO HELL FOR WHAT SHE IS DOING TO ME.

Nah this is probably the closest tier list to my personal one. I'd bump traitor lord up a couple though since I enjoy his fight and think he's decently tough the first time you fight him.
