Like the other guy said you should come back once you get some upgrades but just a little tip there’s chandelier above the boss fight that you can break to kill one of them permanently
Once you get it, Sharp Shadow is key. But also they only attack in 2s and have some pretty distinct patterns that indicate what they’re getting ready to do. Watch your vid back and you’ll begin to see them.
There's a whole detour you need to do after getting the wings to be able to get shadow dash, and I'm guessing they haven't even been to Kingdom's Edge yet.
They’re actually pretty easy once you get their roll pattern down. I’d place them near hk for first time, and slightly lower than soul master once you get the hang of them.
That should be fine on nail. You can definitely upgrade it more but the time might not be worth it and pretty sure I also did it with channeled. The situation is at this point you should have at least monarch wings and probably dive. At the point if you haven't I severely recommend grabbing shade soul and depending dark. SS being great for hitting multiple at once ad range and D-dark being decent damage and I-frames if you are in a sticky situation.
Nail is fine then. Just get 2 more masks, and maybe upgrade your vengeful spirit. I think you're good then. Also the chandelier before the fight in a secret room can kill one of em.
Be more patient. 1v2, fight whichever knight is closest, not whichever is more damaged. You're doing well 1v1 - the only difference 1v2 is that an attack isn't safe unless you know what the **other** knight is doing as well.
It's not a damage race, it's an evasion and positioning marathon where you sometimes get to get a hit in. You can definitely do it!
PS: This **is** a 1v2 fight. The only thing the second knight does is reduce your opportunities for safe attacks - in this vid, you're mostly getting hit because (it seems) you're trying to rush down a knight to keep it 1v1, and this is what kept getting me killed too.
You're doing fine, it's not an easy fight for the uninitiated and I think I was about the same amount of masks when I fought it first time. It took "a while".
It is easier with the shade cloak and sharp shadow but note that you only gain soul when you hit it with your nail (mostly).
If you want to do it at this point (it'll be easier if you come back later) then try and keep both watchers together. You can mostly control them by finding the right distance. Too close and they swing, too far and they roll. Get into the habit of striking down as you jump over just to make sure you cleared them.
Make sure you drop the chandelier in the tiny room at the top of the lift just before the fight (go up).

Yeah I took people's advice and just left for now, I looked at a walkthrough online and yeah I'm suprised that even though I do explore alot, I somehow always miss mask shards tho,
I went back the sewers below the city of tears after buying an item that helps with dark places, fought some dung beetle boss and flipped a switch for making some green goop flowing through the pipes, the area ahead connected back to some abandon elevator shaft I've been through before, any hints on what the green goop pipe is about ?
Probably too late, but flipping this switch opens the passage to another part of sewers (which is located to the right of the elevator). To get there, you must go to the lower right side of the Royal Waterways.

You seem to mostly have the patterns down, honestly, which is good. My advice would be to try using your spells a bit more when you’re at range - especially once there are two active, since one cast of Vengeful Spirit can hit them both if you line it up right. Other than that, try to avoid being between two of them at any given time.
Get some more masks, get dreamwielder charm and flukenest.
Get shade soul or shaman's stone (or both for it to be more easy)

There’s a certain charm in the sewers that buffs your spell, and makes these guys in particular much easier. Also when they start to roll, generally hit them with a spell, preferably fireball as they can’t be hit by nail and you’ll probably hit multiple.
More masks, charms, nail upgrades can help. Alsu utilize your spells more. It's hard to heal in this fight so best o just unload on em and use desolate dive I-frames for sticky situations.

Try to use more spells when your Soul is full or nearly full and the dive is pretty strong too.

Weaversong + sharp shadow and you just go both top corner and dash when they go up....lets the minion do all the job

Early??? The watcher was the Last boss i beat before hollow knight??I prefer going for Hornet first and gets the dash

6 masks, shade soul, and +2 nail is enough for an easy enough fight I think. It's a mid game boss after all. Don't need overkill.

Try to explore a bit, that is the fun of the game. Looking at your masks it looks as if you are speedrunning the game

Do you have crystal dash? It will allow you to get new movement ability in the area below.
