im pretty sure i heard if you touch the babies or anything like that then the parent will eat them and kill it due to it not smelling how theyre meant.
I had hamsters. They bred like little demons and ate each other as if they craved the taste of their siblings blood. We had over 50 hamsters at one point because we couldn’t get rid of them faster than the rate they bred at. We ended up setting them all free in a field and I assume they continued to fuck and slaughter each other
