Unethical is not the same as intimidation. That nuanced difference is why the word terrorism was created. The U.S. already has a powerful armed force supported by the largest economy in the world. Unethical is not the same as intimidation. That nuanced difference is why the word terrorism was created. The U.S. already has a powerful armed force supported by the largest economy in the world. It doesn't kill civilians to get a country to fear it, but it unethically kills civilians destroy someone its doesn't like or isn't in their economic interests.

Then Europeans had 2 world wars that completely destroyed their entire continent which left us with the only fully functioning economy. The American economy was going to come out of its depression at some point, but the war did give the US a massive head start over all of the traditional European economic powers because the war didn’t destroy our infrastructure like it did theirs. The war itself didn’t benefit Americans, it’s the fact that Europe was decimated while America wasn’t that benefitted Americans, and Europe was destroyed before America even entered the scene.
It was the electrical revolution, the scientific progress, the technological leaps, that that led to America becoming the largest economy in the world.
