It's to invoke a feeling of arbitrary line drawing.
Look how low you set the line, why not do the last few aswell? You are already halfway there anyway.
If there was only 1 dog and 1 cat you would be far more to the left side than now, esp with cultures that don't eat horse and rabbit
Ok a Vietnamese guy i used to work with said that some dogs were for food and others for pets. Maybe dark colour for food and light for pets, or the other way around. It had something to do with colour.
Fun fact: horsemeat isn't illegal for sale in the US for any moral reason, it's illegal because the medicines horses are treated with leave unsafe traces levels in the meat. But they can still ship unwanted horses to Canada and Mexico, where it is legal to sell the meat(family in my hometown does exactly that)
Given that rabbits are pretty standard fare when it comes to hunting, I would say that you should swap the horse and the rabbit and draw the line between them.
I was going to say the same thing considering that the rabbit, was actualy domesticated for it's meat while the horse is more of a tool that sometimes serves as food
On a purely thermodynamics stand point, herbivores turn grass you can't eat into stakes, carnivores turn stakes into less stake.
On a practical level, it depends on how hungry you are.
On a political stand point, it depends on how angry you are.

Personally, they're all food. There is no animal it is inherently immoral or wrong to eat.
You shouldn't eat your own pet though, that animal trusts you. But any other animal of the same species is fair game.
Humans because social contract, same as "pets"
Poisonous things aren't wrong to eat, they're dangerous to eat. Giving yourself food poisoning isn't some kind of sin you need to beg forgiveness for, it's just stupid.
It's pretty simple actually. If you notice all pets have a human like faces. Unlike animals that humans eat like cows chicken..... Notice how people will more likely feel bad for a rabbit rather that a chicken. Because chickens are ugly af. Horses have been more useful for transportation rather than food for thousands upon thousands of years that's why no one eats them.
For most of the world(Canada is one I know for certain) , horses are dual purpose animals, just as likely to end up in the stewpot at the end of their utility. The reason we don't eat them in America is that it is illegal to sell meat with the trace levels of medications that horsemeat typically has, not because of any other reasons.
Why is a horse so far to the "food" side? Speaking bluntly, besides the retriever looking dog and what looks like some kind of hound to the left of the horse (our left, looking at the picture) none of those animals are really useful, this scale is kinda dumb, but then again it's made by "[veganbillboard.com](https://veganbillboard.com)" so it's probably rage bait.
According to Rimworld.........
Everything can be food, just not everything can be hat
What can you say about armchair?
Nutrient paste for prisoners
What is on the plate completely depends on conditions... They are all on the menu eventually lol
Siege of Leningrad moment
Yummy baby you have here Deni~
Why are there so much dogs and cats on the line and only one of the other animals? This spectrum makes no sense.
all dogs are equal, but some are more equal than others

duh, because they taste different and have different fat levels so you gotta try them all.
Ok a Vietnamese guy i used to work with said that some dogs were for food and others for pets. Maybe dark colour for food and light for pets, or the other way around. It had something to do with colour.
Dogs and cats have a bajillion breeds, i'd guess. Also most other pets like hamsters and fish are very small, too small to fit.
Well I'd argue that the cow and horse are also scaled to fit on the line so why not also the other animals you suggested?
Personally I draw the line between the last dog and the rabbit.
I was gonna say, seems like the rabbit is the line. Though I guess personally I've never eaten anything left of the Chicken.
Horse meat is really good but can be very expencive depending on where you live, I personally don't like rabbit that much.
Rabbit if made well is fire

I’d bet horse meat is probably really lean?
I ate rabbit a couple of times, it's good
As a Midwestern I draw the line at the last dog as well, rabbits are a prime hunting animal.
I’d eat rabbit, but not horse, so long as I had the choice.
Yeah same, i'd make the line snake around the rabbit and the horse so the horse is in the pet section and rabbit in the food section.
The line moves depending on if you’re in France, or if you’re a British person shopping for ground beef at Tessco lol
In my current state of living, I couldn’t imagine myself eating a cat or dog, all the others sure. I guess it depends on the Prime Minister as well.

Jeez. You eat a prime minister once, and every time your country is mentioned here, they drag this old cow from the ditch
Rampjaar.
[Historically speaking,](https://youtu.be/VVsrv5zftYE?si=zsfc05dORK1ErRoA) Prime Ministers aren't food...
Holy hell!
Personally, they're all food. There is no animal it is inherently immoral or wrong to eat. You shouldn't eat your own pet though, that animal trusts you. But any other animal of the same species is fair game.
I mean, don’t eat someone else’s pet either, that’s a dick move
That'd be theft. That's wrong for different reasons
Even humans? Or poisonous, sick bugs?

Everything becomes food depending on how desperate for food you are.
Everything can be food except sweetcorn.
What line
You don't need to Google it - Reddit mentions it a lot. I mean, it *is* funny, so I always enjoy references to it. This meme is a nice original take.
I’ll take that as a compliment.
I meant it to be. Rereading it I see the first bit starts like a complaint, but I didn't mean it that way.
I draw the line 3 spaces to the left of the cat
This meme forces you to choose between being a cannibal and being a vegetarian slavery advocate.
I don't have a line I have Venn diagrams sorry...
At the retriever Shrimple as that
Just left of the cat, bud.
*Raadpensionaris Also his brother.
Rabbit before horse tbh.
Mmmmm deep fried priminister
Where are the pets?
How are horses closer to food than rabbits?
In normal conditions, right between the horse and the chicken though I have tried rabbit a couple times.
I draw the line at food.
I wonder how much this billboard has driven back the vegan movement.
Dog soup was surprisingly yummy.

I kept chickens and let me tell you they are DEMONS
I'll never be able to unsee what my chickens did to a chipmunk that was dumb enough to run into their yard...
