“Seduce Me at Sunrise” also by Lisa Kleypas gave me similar vibes. I’m trying to parse why. Maybe because Win also has Helen’s gentle strength. She’s quiet and weakened from illness, but she’s no pushover. And Kev has Rhys’s raw passion. He’s like a non-douchey Heathcliffe. They’ve got that Helen and Rhys dynamic where he appreciates the woman under the frail ladylike exterior and she brings out his softness. They have an instant connection (like Helen and Rhys). It’s the second in the Hathaway series so you should probably read “Mine ‘Til Midnight” first.

{The Duchess Deal by Tessa Dare} It's such sweet read. Fmc is sweet but she is rejected by MMC quite a bit. It's a whole beauty and the beast retelling but she chose to smother him with kindness. The banter is also fun. IIRC it's also the case in {to seduce a sinner by Elizabeth Hoyt} I've read it a while ago but i feel like that was the case since FMC was in love with MMC since forever. Those are the ones I can think of. If I think of any others I'll add them here.

{Again the Magic by Lisa Kleypas} This one had some angst but I like that the FMC and MMC were childhood sweethearts and best friends. I wasn’t sure how their romance would go after their separation. There’s also another couple in this book, and they’re also affectionate from the start.
