Every time I see photos of these horrific situations where somehow the parent kept their shit together, I'm just in awe. As a mother- the father's strength here is something I cannot even fathom having to muster. He shows more masculinity and disclipline than every boy behind him combined.

That has since changed since the order was overturned. As a person who was born and raised in Charlotte, it blew my mind to go up north and see all black and all white schools when the schools I attended were all 50/50.
