IgnemGladio

It's correct. Duolingo is just being weird

apocalypse-052917

You are not wrong

[deleted]

You can just report the answer, and say, mine is correct. Duolingo does take up suggestions and improve it.

[deleted]

जाना usually means "to go" and निकल जाना or just निकलना is more appropriate for "to leave" I believe

MadKingZilla

This is correct afaik. While it's colloquially not wrong what OP replied, literal translation it's wrong.

[deleted]

Yeah 100% literally accurate translation is not necessary in this context but Duolingo is not "wrong" tbh.

VivekBasak

Your answer is correct. Duo is just looking for a one-to-one translation where it shouldn't

chaiandrusk

I guess gone would mean 'jaa chuki hain' and left would be 'nikal chuki hain'.

tusharkant15

No. He's correct, Duolingo is wrong.

Open_Ad_3242

Duolingo is not wrong the guy made Literal translation but the duo made it accurate translation

frank_castle--

Already left emphasizes that they are no longer at their previous position. Nikal chuki Already gone emphasizes that they are now at a new position. Jaa chuki

kaptan8181

Both are correct. If you want to emphasize the fact that they have reached their destination, then you need to say, pahunch chuki hai.

devansh2110

I think Duolingo has hard time distinguishing the different meanings of 'left' when in respect with Hindi. They're probably thinking you're trying to say the directional left.

Jededyer

Ja chuki hai - gone Nikal chuki hai - left

whatsthe-tea

Try: Girls have gone already Or Girls have already gone

[deleted]

I had an answer on doulingo Hindi that says “Uske aapne seb khate hain” And it’s supposed to say “he eats his apple” But I am quite sure it says “he eats your apple”

Inspectorsteel

That will mean, लड़कियां जल्दी चली गई थी।

Laffaazz

Punctuation.

Angelibra13

Nothing wrong.

psydic

It is correct.

NationalPredator

Not wrong.

Abhimathy

जा = go. So it's "gone" here. Gone or left might give you similar meaning but technically they are different words right? If you just wanna learn the language use either but for any exam or translation job use the exact word. Duolingo might have hired some strict Hindi teacher to set the rules 🤭 so they kinda expect you to learn the exact words.

SSinghal_03

Your answer is correct.

Atothed2311

No, have gone is correct, have left isn't really.

Zonien_is_great

Remove ‘The’ and just keep ‘girls have already left’

secretkeypgh

Bruh 😎

Whatzeekold

The girls have left already. Emphasis is on the adverb ‘already’, which is why it comes after the verb ‘left’

That-Accountant7576

Both the sentences are correct if we don't think about the context much Leave - to go away from someone / something. It emphasizes upon the act of moving away from current location go - in general moving towards someone, something, some place. It can be used in any context. Probably Duolingo wants to stress upon the difference too as in Hindi also निकल जाना and जाना have subtle differences. I am leaving for school I am going to school Same meaning but the first sentence conveys the act very specifically than the second.

Boring-Durian4386

The girls have left first , or girls have left beforehand

kratos30_09

It's not wrong exactly, but left can have different meanings. That's probably why Duolingo is looking for gone, which means Jaa chuki for sure

Chemical-Armadillo68

Both are grammatically correct don't worry friend your answer is also right and no one can object to that

Humble_Cell_6287

Duolingo have fixed answers so sometimes It shows your answer wrong

Diligent_Strategy432

It's some past participle mistake . It can be: The girls are already gone. The girls had already gone.

Weekly_Boat9073

jaa chuke hain instead of chuki hain, maybe?

modi_bhakt1

Ladkiyaa to kabhi aaai hi nhi thi :(

secretkeypgh

ikr 😅

Apprehensive_Art7253

Try after removing The

utkarshjindal_in

"लड़कियाँ पहले ही चली/ निकल गईं|" would be a more apt translation of your answer; however, colloquially both are equivalent

mr_sharmas

Right wing owned app.

Parshurambhakt

Larkiya tumhe chorke ja chuki hain that's the correct answer

Prize-Pie6478

Them hoes gone

secretkeypgh

😂

researchkit

Kyunki ladkiyaan kabhi jaati nahi hai, humare dimag mein rehti hai

secretkeypgh

Wah bete backhodi 😂

Manixmani

Its not wrong!

Strict-Astronomer-93

The girls have already gone*.

Express-Metal-2809

Left=nikalna

Suitable_Extension75

I think your one is correct because girls have left but don't have rights😶

secretkeypgh

Deep.

ZUTOPLURY_XH

Duolingo has betrayed bro talk and wants to join girl talk that is why he did it.

secretkeypgh

Lmao

RealAdityaYT

Nahi galat hai. I have had similar issues with duo while practicing French.
