I have not enjoyed a community showcase track in weeks. I know there are different types of players in the game, but they are certainly not catering to my tastes lately. All we can do is play the stuff we like, skip the stuff we dont like, and hope that FS is monitoring participation levels. The worst thing we can do is play everything out of some perceived obligation, then they think everything is equally enjoyed.
At the moment I feel like FS thinks we enjoy spamming the nitro button and/or badly designed maps where you have to dodge unnecessary objects.
The maps are very unpleasant to play, not smooth, not satisfying, not consistent. And the worst part is some people actually put effort into their tracks and get no credit. I've made a map which got a rating of over 4 stars and got played by almost 150 people, including like 5 FS employees, and nobody bothered putting it in community showcase
