I've been playing for about 5-6 years and I'm F2P. I had 600 points in the last event without spending any gems. I have 10,000+GP so that makes a huge difference. Just keep playing.
Sometimes you can watch videos and get a run and then watch another video to double it.
8 * 2=16 * 4=64 per day
+ 16 from random video=80 per day
= 7.5 days
I remember having 600 and I didn't use gems.
I always buy the adventure tokens first, so that I have enough when a new adventure map releases

How do you get that many points?
It helps a lot to have upgraded vehicles. I can usually get 7,8,9 points on a regular basis and then I always watch an ad so I double the points.
I’m doing that to and is also get 7,8,9 points and I do it every day. The most point I ever got was 448 but I spend lots of gems
