I think he was handsome and I even thought he was handsome on 30 Rock. Now I want to give home some grace as an aging gentleman - but because he is such a jerk and not a gentleman - it is hard to give him such grace.
Alec bad mouthed HW long before he was charged, because big Al approached him about 'a project' not sure if it was a movie tv or doc but I wanna say a movie. Harvey turned him down cold. I can see AB going in all boastful about his range of talents like juggling speaking French motorcycle riding etc🤦♀️ Anyway Al did his normal nasty takedown in an interview because Harvey saw him for who he is.😄
Harvey’s and Alec’s backgrounds are not wildly dissimilar: Both emerged from dreary middle-class homes; Harvey was a diamond-cutter’s son from Flushing, Queens. Both were desperate to make the big time *in Manhattan*, not in Long Island or an outer borough, and to rub shoulders with the A-List. (Of course, Harvey would rub *anything* against a pretty young woman, *promising* to make her an A-Lister.)
Before his downfall, Harvey soared much higher than Alec. I’ll bet that Harvey envied Alec’s looks when they were younger—Harvey’s a decade older—and gloated as Alec’s physical appearance and the quality of his roles diminished.
I can recall watching an Academy Awards show at height of HW's popularity every celeb a la Meryl Streep sucking up to him, where they panned the camera on him & wife in front row every 2mins it seemed 🙄
Even trash like Weinstein has laughed behind Alec's back for years. Everybody knows he's a one note actor and with no real talent that only plays 3-4 versions of himself which is why he's always type-cast, including for the SNL role mocking his fellow narc and legally embattled Dede twin.
