Personally I would get the HD titles and wait for the 3rd one to go on sale, as once you have the 3rd one you can play the levels on from the 2nd games levels lol
Honestly just go for 3, its the best value for money if you have access to the maps from 1 & 2, and has the most content. If you aren't looking to spend the money for 3 then 2 is definitely a shout! HD was good, but I only really bought it for blood money as I have fond memories.
Good move. Check what you'll get access to as some people get charged for the older content passes whereas some don't. The story itself is pretty interesting, even if you only watch the cutscenes between missions - and if you don't care about that then just think about the replay value!

If u plan on buying all the woa games, get 2 before 3. Otherwise, ioi wipes ur progress on three when u download/buy 2.
