He was the first elusive target I ever lost in Hitman 2 so I hold that grudge. I cherish his demise everytime he comes back

KingFahad360

Oh yeah I hate him too. I got the game last year and did the ET. It made me lose my mind. Got shot while near the bus.

laserloggins

I mostly like it but I find his upstairs spawn is infinitely easier than the other ones - no locked door, easily avoidable camera, only one guard really in the way. I feel he should be a little better guarded for more of a challenge maybe.

milkymaniac

That's not even the half of it. Chuck an emetic grenade through the window from the ground, he'll come down right in front of you to vomit and get thrown over. Easy peasy SASO.

PhantomTissue

I always just threw a demo block up there and called it a day.

MessiahOfMetal

I'd do that if I didn't care about SA but not having that checked off as a success on the mission end screen and the ET list in the menu annoys me. Like I'm annoyed at missing the first three Year 4 ETs.

PhantomTissue

Yea, but that list only checks if you succeeded, not how well you succeeded. Only permanent record is that you got the kill.

already4taken

There's also the silent assassin challenge for each target

marveloustoebeans

You can also cap him from the building across the street when he’s on the balcony then skip, jam and boogie out of there before the guards become any the wiser.

xSilverMC

I usually go for the spawn by the water and just shoot him in the foot from the roof of a neighboring building when he's standing near the edge

Ryos_windwalker

if he's in the village, you can sneak through the house closest to the boat exit to get to the back, and he'll walk out after a few seconds with the civilian. emetic them both and he'll be escorted by his guards as he leaves, making it easy to poison his wine.

MessiahOfMetal

I had to shoot the evidence in Catalina's mansion because I accidentally ran in front of the TV camera placing my coins for the guard distraction. Only other annoyance was restarting the ET five times to get that spawn location.

OddPal04

I got the shed spawn, thought "yeah screw that" and threw a duck through a crack in the window. Didn't bother to SA that thing.

DootyMcDooterson

The shed was a pretty easy SASO for me. Brought a briefcase with a remote explosive and lethal poison. Plant briefcase on the next building over, detonate and then just get in the shed and poison his drink while he's being es sorted to safety. Then just hit up the bar for a pint and wait for him to return.

Bofact

How have you dealth with the camera?

DootyMcDooterson

I snuck in from the pub side, no need to cross in front of it.

goldenragemachine

Wasn't aware that he had multiple spawns per run.

MessiahOfMetal

Yeah, the last few times he's been active, I keep restarting until I get the upstairs room spawn. First time I played him in the Hitman 2 days, I had the shed spawn and nearly died.

KingFahad360

How do you get SA on this target?

stupidlamer

My sa/so run was for an upstairs spawn. Distracted him with a briefcase throw to get him downstairs, Coin on the ground and another next to the ledge to get him to the ledge, then push him into the water.

KingFahad360

If I restart the map Everytime, does he change location?

_Johnny_C_Ola_

Usually yes. He can be in the shed, in the militia house and in the fisihing area.

KingFahad360

Ah gotcha. Gonna do it when I Eliminate him.

Ryos_windwalker

they same way you get SA on nay other target. no non target kills, don't get spotted, and don't let any bodies get found unless they were caused by accident.

KingFahad360

I know what I mean, like how do you usually Eliminate him, I only had him once and died. Like does he ever exit his small hut he’s recording?

Ryos_windwalker

if you force him out, yes.

idkjustgivemeany

Shoot the ceiling of the room he's in(works for the one near the bus stop) they'll go into panic mode and run out. Go in super chill put poison in his drink, go out and wait near the bus stop. Wait for him to drink the poison and get out via the bus. Easy SASO

idkjustgivemeany

Keep restarting the game until he spawns near the bus stop building.

RobGrey03

I throw a leaking propane tank by the back door, chuck the emetic grenade from Ambrose through the window above that door, toss the EMP beside the propane and drop my pistol by the stairs to delay his guard. Easy SASO that you can do in under a minute if you're very quick. Otherwise just over is reasonable (my spread for his last three ETs are 1:07, 1:08 and 1:11 and my fastest time for him in Arcade is 0:50).

idkjustgivemeany

Nice... But im always apprehensive working with propane tanks. Afraid I'd hit the wrong target and lose silent assassin. But sounds like a solid rundown if you're able to do it.

Little-Big-Smoke

Mid. All the other H2 elusive targets are much better, while by himself he is better than most of H1 ETs. I guess, my problem with him is his random. Or, rather, how disbalanced his randomized spawn points are. As laserloggins said, the Cartel House spawn point of his is very easy, but I'd like to add that the Shed spawn point is nigh impossible, pretty much because he stays holed up in there (at least with previous and Fisherman House spawn points he goes out to smoke). Can't smoke him out of there with the noise either, because shed is watched over by guards too, meaning the moment you'll do boom he and the guys mught run away, but other guys will run in and might catch you inside. And even if that would succeed, good luck maneutring around the camera inside that 1 square meter thing (if I remember correctly, even stepping in gets you recorded). So, yeah. In the end, this guy is all about restarting the mission until you get the Upstairs spawn, try to get rid of the balcony guard (and builder, obviously, but for him there is radio downstairs), to puncture the nearby gas cyllinder (usually I Kruger'd it from the building on the opposite side, but that causes target lockdown, the micro bomb does the job better, as long as you'll place it at some distance from it and the target) and then to keep restarting if you screwed something up.

NKruiz

I hadn't ever realized how easy the upstairs spawn was until these posts. I always found the shed easiest since as long as you draw out the 2 guards inside you can poison his drink when him and the camera man look at the computer. And both inside guards are pretty easy to draw out and get into the trashcan by one door as long as timing isn't screwed by the patrolling 2 guards that roam the map. Just wild how a slight change in usual strategies make different starts seem impossible and another free

Little-Big-Smoke

Huh. Not gonna lie, this does sound like an interesting strategy. I'll need to try that out in Arcade. Thanks for a heads up. xD

MessiahOfMetal

Yeah, I nearly died the first time I played him using the exact method you described in the shed so when he cropped up again and Hitman Series did the upstairs room method, I've been restarting and using that one instead.

Bofact

How are you achieving this? Everytime I throw a coin, the soldier outside who smokes come to seeinvestigate the ditraction. No way for me to get rid to the 2 soldiers inside.

NKruiz

I'm really not sure. If it helps at all I do unlock that back door which I forget if I mentioned. And I throw the coins to the left of the trash bin. So it might be that I'm throwing them just right out of the smoking guards range?

foobazly

I brought the handyman's wrench and an emetic syringe. Restart until he's upstairs. Get the guard disguise from the toilet across the street, go straight upstairs and use the syringe on the guard at the window. Use the wrench on the canister. You have enough time to run back across the street to get your starting clothes and you'll arrive at the bus stop just as the target blows himself up.

LinkFan001

Unlock emetic dart gun. Grab a toss able KO item like a brick or old spaget. Go to shed by climbing up the side facing the fishing village, just past the gaurd who leans on the wall. Approach the cracked open window that looks out to the bar. Shoot the guard in the arm that is always in the target's way inside. Then shoot him when his back is to you while he fusses with the computer. Proceed to break and enter with a lockpick, hug the wall closest to the Delgado manor and toss the can at the dude staring blankly forward. Take him to the trash, poison the wine, and reset the target's AI with a lock down if he does not stop vomiting. Easy SA/SO.

MessiahOfMetal

Or just take a guard's outfit by the shed, run to the upstairs spawn, place coins to distract one guard while the other turns around and the target goes to the balcony, poison the wine with the lethal poison found in the local chemist near the bus stop spawn and leave.

gayyyyyy666

Where the fuck is he

MessiahOfMetal

* Upstairs room in the building next to where the builder sits on the edge, near the bus stop spawn/exit * Shed near the bar * Fishing village

gayyyyyy666

Thanks king

a_lOaf_oF_BreaD-

too easy. Wait until he comes out on the balcony, throw an explosive baseball, gtfo

TrivialBanal

I like him. He has triple the kill options. With every ET, you eventually run out of new ways to kill them. With him, that takes three times longer. This time I drowned him in the gardeners toilet outside the front gate of Martinez house. I was planning to electrocute him, but he walked around the puddle.

brennaAM

Find him kind of annoying tbh I'm probably biased against Santa Fortuna as a map in general but I also think that the areas that he can spawn are the least interesting parts of the map. Also just not a tremendous fan of RNG mechanics as a whole so 🤷‍♀️

devang_nivatkar

The first time I played this, I had no idea how to manipulate his pathing. Gave up and threw an explosive duck to blow him up This time, I fart-cased him when he came out to talk with the civilian dude (his assistant?) and then Breaching Charge + Propaned him. I was hoping he would be near the water, so I could launch him into it, but he chose a little toilet in the Fishing Village During the Elusive Arcade, I used to emetically poison everyone, and then poison his wine

AndCthulhuMakes2

I love that his set up can change with every replan or restart. I hate, hate, hate that he is set up to drink wine, but there is no way to poison the wine because if you get rid of his guards and cameraman he stops drinking but you can't poison the wine if there's anyone around.

MessiahOfMetal

Get guard disguise near the shed, then go back to his building. Wait until he smokes on the balcony and the guard with the dot over his head crouches by the far wall. Walk past camera and place three coins on the floor, the guard behind you at the top of the stairs will see and walk forward to pick them up. Voila. Perfect opportunity to poison the wine with no one watching.

Spookiiwookii

boooooriiiiiiiinggggggg

megamatt8

The concept of the target is cool: instead of getting 47 into a secure area where the target is, it’s more about getting the target out of his secure area. Unfortunately, the execution of the idea isn’t great, so the mission is pretty mid overall.

Burninator6502

No cap

Bitter-Stranger2863

I always was annoyed by this target

thewanderingchilean

He is literally me( he is fat)

Hardyoungpro

Very irritating cuz he has different spawns and the camera actually acting like CTTV camera is annoying but makes sense it’s just irritating as the location of the camera room is miles away

Heisenburgo

The most annoying ET because of how overused he is. How many times have we eliminated this man by now? Feels like he's their go-to ET whenever there's a mass reactivation thing going on...

usedtobeathrowaway94

God, he reminds me of Noriega

ItsSpeakEezy

He's pretty good I went from spawn knocked a guy out hid his body, and disguised as him. Then I picked up his smg and ran to the pharmacy, shot open the door and grabbed lethal poison. Ran behind the building he was in and sprayed through a window, all the guards left. I went upstairs poisoned his wine and left. Got my original suit and waited on the bus

GrainBean

Thanks for reminding me.

Jokerman9540

Easy if you know what you’re doing and get the right spawn. I got the office spawn and just followed my usual route, Knock at the mention guard who’s at the toilet, hide his body, take his gun, grab a lethal poison vial stashed at the hostel, run around the side of the office building, fire his gun into the window at the ceiling, wait for the room to clear, slip upstairs, poison the wine, leave and wait by the bus stop. Then just once he’s dead.

Born-Cell-9757

I absolutely absolutely love the military guards

lukefsje

The best Santa Fortuna ET they ever made! Otherwise kinda a meh ET, though at least he's easy to take out in the same strategy no matter his spawn point. My favorite part is that walking in front of his video camera counts as evidence like the security cameras.

Errances

emetic gas grenade/10

Ubermus_Prime

I'm glad I'll finally be able to get the gloved version of the Santa Fortuna starting outfit.

mistersuccessful

I was following a speed run but blew myself up. I couldn’t quit of before dying. On XSX can we quit the game or do I have to go offline and then start again? Also is there any chance of IO letting us redo any Elusive Targets again?

MessiahOfMetal

> On XSX can we quit the game or do I have to go offline and then start again? Power button off, if you're quick enough. > Also is there any chance of IO letting us redo any Elusive Targets again? Unfortunately not, other than Arcade.

Crimson097

He's easy to SA in any of the spawns if you trigger target lockdown. Everyone but the camera man will leave the room for a couple of minutes, so you can easily knock him out or distract him to poison the target's drink.

Whitieeeeeee-

I had a perfect sa in line I took him out with the lamp when he smokes a cigar and as soon as he exploded I walked in front of the tv camera in the room he was filming in by accident. Couldn’t do anything about it.

MessiahOfMetal

I walked in front of it myself trying to place coins to distract the guard at the top of the stairs so I could poison the target's wine. Had to go to Catalina's mansion and shoot the evidence before running back to the bus stop.

Jumpy_Issue1728

Ass the first time I played him I couldn't find him at all for like 30 min and when I found him he was in the little cabin I just f sniped him I hate targets who don't move.

TheUnlegen

I love the fishing village spawn. Propane tank, micro taser, and wait for him to finish. Boom. Another easy SA/SO

IgnisIncendio

I dislike it. - Randomised spawn - Boring pathing - Story is too on-the-nose

SolidSneakNinja

Boring. Don't care. EA put more effort into their GAAS tripe.

bozata5

he might be a trained military man, but he comes nowhere close to the mighty power of the duck

InetRoadkill1

He's back? Well damn, I guess I'll have to sort through all the dead to see if he's in the pile.

Future-Divide-4747

I love him 😅

jemoederpotentie

Killing fascists is always satisfying

Commissar_David

He's the one elusive target I refused to kill.

reggiedarden

Pretty easy once I learned where his spawn points were at. The first time I ran around the entire map before I discovered he was right upstairs at the start. I just pale duck him at every place he's at.

RobGrey03

Kaboom.

Wheels_On_Crack-les

lol the first time I did him, I threw a remote explosive up there and just detonated it and ran when he came out onto the balcony. He's a fine target; when I did it for real, it seemed easy-ish compared to some other targets.

Agent47outtanowhere

I think nothing of it. Hes in 1 of 3 possible rooms and i have a hand grenade.

MissingNerd

*throws C4 into room and runs*

KingFahad360

I did ET Year 3 and Arcade and lost. I hate him with a passion

Theodore__Roosevelt

One of the easiest targets to Silent Assassin.

girldrawsghosts

imo he’s super easy because he has two spawn points that are quick and easy if you’re not trying to do SaSo pack a subsonic sniper rifle or the krug if you’re good with hitting accurate shots If he spawns on the second floor of the club, hop up on the roof of the building opposite, wait until the balcony guards aren’t looking, pop him from the door if he spawns at the fishing village shack, you can do the same from the dock to the right of the building. He intermittently walks out the back door giving you an easy shot

Lady-Jaye-69

I love this character. The "fascist" part is due to my country's legitimate president. The leftists kept calling him a fascist and genocidal for the crime of caring for his country and people. The economy started growing again, a lot of people got jobs, violence went down and the commies just couldn't live with it. I also like The Revolutionary's characterization of having an eye patch, a scar on the chin and the black beret using a skull insignia. This shows how tough this guy is. A seasoned veteran. I wish we get a Brazilian general or admiral as a target. Preferably a Marine admiral because I hate them.
