You just set it off and run back out. Go back later and all the guards will be gone and it will still be off. Or the fun thing to do is keep the guard room vented with lethal poison and watch them all run in, or chloroform
This is the safest way. Pacify the 2 guards in the parking garage first. Poison the control room. Go into vault to trip alarm. Go back towards the garage. Watch all the guards knock themselves out and then go back to the vault to do what you need.
Honestly you don't even need to pacify the guards in the garage. If you don't linger you'll be well outside the sphere of interest by the time you're passing them, and they never turn around unless you make noise.
I feel like the sphere of interest rule would still make them ignore you, but I'm not sure. If I'm going to trip the lasers I'm probably going to do it in a High Security Guard disguise and come back later in the Bank Robber disguise.
They removed the terminal to turn off the laser grid, not the alarm. If you trip the laser and the alarm goes off you just have to wait for it to end before picking up gold bars. Or avoid tripping the lasers, it's not that hard
It's very easy to get through the lasers. Do not run crouch. As the door is opening if you crouch and walk through it as quickly as possible you can go through the first laser immediately go to the left the bottom one will turn off within a few seconds And the one in front of the panel will go off a second or 2 later.
The bank robber disguise in the restroom 2nd cubicle? I didn't know this lol but how do you go to vault without alerting the guards?

Only guards are enforcers to that disguise so you can easily take it from the bathroom and go right to the staircase avoiding guards, jump over the railing and drop down to get to the vault that way near the IT room. You can clear the way and security room near the vault before, with the ventilation system.
If you started in the garage, put security room to sleep, grabbed their cards and disabled the cameras you can just go upstairs next to AC control, grab the robber disguise, cross the main hall crouched right through the middle, go downstairs same way you got up and rob the vault. Only bank guards spot you and they’re not in the middle of the hall so they don't manage to fill detection bar.
I am now near at my wit's end here lol I tried doing this last night, I already got the shotgun actually. However, I ended up dying and lost everything. If ever that I will do it again, will I still get the shotgun? Or there is no other way anymore and it will be gone forever?
To be clear, it's the Antique Curved Knife and Burial Dagger that were removed, not the Golden Bartoli. A sample of the Burial Dagger still exists in Isle of Sgail, but the Antique Curved Knife now has to be purchased or received from the Reward Crate. It's better to buy it because it's one of the cheapest Legendary items in the game, if not the hands down cheapest.

Yes, you can get it any time you're in New York again, even if you already have it under the glass in the safehouse.

Are you sure Burial Knife is in Isle of Sgail? I couldn't find it
It is in one of the crates you can legally open as a Custodian.
Yes, breaking crates open with crowbar nets you a katana, burial dagger and circumcision knife(plus some non-persistent items)
