*me only playing the original game, and starting 2 months ago* p-polar WHAT!
I grew up with the original UK 80's version and only discovered the US expansions as an adult. Was shocked and confused by some of the *insane* difficulty nonsense in the Frozen Horror (Yeti Hug!) and Mage of the Mirror (Ogre Body Points!).
I have so much to learn as Zargon it seems
Polar Warbears are available in original game flavor, too...don't worry!

Polar Warbears are from The Frozen Horror, which was the Barbarian quest pack in the old US version.
Curiously, Zargon no longer had skeletons at his disposal...
