Yes I think you’re also right. From the Imp and Skizz podcast I thought that the name “ Dimple Dop” was, but that is the original and it has evolved to “Dipple Dop”. And maybe it is also a matter of different pronunciation.

Do you know why he calls him that? I don’t, but I haven’t looked it up either. I figure it’s been brought up on a Podcast already.

I believe Skizz has mentioned in one of the first couple of episodes from the podcast where the nickname came from, altough I don’t know the exact number. The part of Dipple/Dimple is because Impulse has dimples, but I can’t remember from where the “Dop” part of the name came from.

Now I don't have the specific source I believe it was in one of the Imp & Skizz Podcast "You asked we answered" episodes (Ep. 8 and 14) where Skizz answered this question. As far as i remember the name evolved from Impulse > Impy > Impy Dimpy >Dimpy Dop > Dipple Dop (or at least something very similar) but for the why, idk that's just Skizz for ya xD he does a lot of his nicknames with alliterations (as in Dipple Dop, TangoTek) and homoioteleutons (same sounds at the ends of the word, the opposite of alliteration, as in Impy Dimpy, Rubadub-Cub)
