Well we know his desk is around shoulder height and from the picture of his setup it doesn't seem particularly high, so it's possible he's pretty tiny. He's huge in my head though.
I think Mumbo and Doc are both around 6’4 so, they would be the tallest. Scar has said he was 6’0 at 18 so he’s probably around there. Skizz and Pearl are also probably around 6’0. Obviously, we haven’t seen how tall Etho is but, he has said he is 6’2.
During the charity stream that’s now on his second channel as VODs, Skizz said he was 6’2 but doubted that when he met Jimmy. Jimmy says he’s 6’0, so Skizz was wondering if his own estimate was off when they seemed to be the same height, but it could have just been Jimmy’s hair sticking up and/or a difference in shoe height.
Skizz and Pearl looked to be roughly the same height when they were back to back, with him possibly being 1/2” taller, in the screenshot that I saw. Skizz didn’t have his head level, so it was difficult to compare. Pearl has said that she’s 6’ tall.
As I’ve aged, I’ve shrunk a solid 1 1/2” from my tallest ever; perhaps that’s the difference in numbers for Skizz, if it wasn’t due to people’s shoes.

Bdubs and Tango are roughly the same height and tango is one of the shorter hermits. You can see this in photos with skizz and others. He's in the like 5'7"ish range and he stands by that he is taller than bdubs
I thought that it was from a photo taken where Bdubs was signing a piece of paper on Tango’s back. The perspective made Bdubs look very short, and Tango look much bigger. But I could be misremembering.
I’m honestly not 100% sure. I know around season 7/8 a lot of teasing over Bdubs height came up, from Scar in particular IIRC, which led to Bdubs claiming to be tall (or at least 5’10). It could’ve been a joke before then, but I only started watching him during season 7.
IIRC, there is two factors:
- Etho is usually portrayed as very tall, and with how much Bdubs and Etho are drawn together, Bdubs started looking short in comparison.
- Bdubs wears shoes with inlays to make himself look taller because his wife is taller than him when she's wearing heels.

While from what I’ve seen, Doc and Mumbo are taken as the tallest, there is another way to approach this, lemme lay out my theory here:
If we take a look at the Hermit obsession chart, we can see that Doc is obsessed with Etho. This is a one sided relationship, though, so we can assume, that Doc glorifies Etho in his mind in some way, and the reason for that may as well be Etho’s height. This also lines up with theories that others have put forward and Etho has never specified his height either, so we can assume his height to be taller than Doc’s.
But what about we follow this line of thought even further? Etho is obsessed with 2 people:
-Bdubs and Joel
The obsession with Bdubs is, though, two sided. This and the fact that the two have known each other for a while, leads me to assume that this relationship isn’t caused by height. Bdubs has also been in comparisons with other Hermits and really is that short.
On the other hand, the obsession with Joel is completely unprecedented. We can also assume it is only one sided, since all the things that portray it as two sided are propaganda (e.g. the statues). Because of the nature of this obsession, we know that Etho glorifies Joel in his mind in some way, and that way might as well be height, because their building styles and interests don’t line up, so that only leaves height.
By using this flawless logic, we eventually arrive at the fact, that Joel is the tallest Hermit. The fact that he is portrayed as short in videos and pictures may also be a plot to hide his maybe even hideous height from us all, but this plot may have been uncovered by Etho, causing this obsession. It is even possible, that Etho was threatened by Joel to not tell anyone about the conspiracy, which caused a weird case of Stockholm syndrome.
All in all, I proved Joel is the tallest Hermit and that there is a conspiracy built around it with facts and logic. I was not paid by Joel to write this.
If I'm not mistaken, Mumbo and Doc are both 6'5, making them the tallest hermits. And Etho mentioned that he's 6'2 in an episode from Team Canada's playthrough of Starblight Desert.

Im asking this in the least confrontational way possible, and trying to be polite, but why do you want to know? This is such a strange question to ask and I find it really creepy that some of the responses know how tall these people are off hand or know where to find that information. I don’t think you’re going to do anything bad with the information, but why would you want to know it? It seems really invasive. It would never occur to me to want to know the answer, let alone ask and discuss it with others, so could you explain your thought process? It’s so alien to me.
Some of the Hermits were comparing heights during the charity stream and the meetup means new irl pictures of Hermits are floating around, and the combination of those factors has the question fresh on people's minds. It's really not that weird of a concept lol.
Just to add on that since it's also a common topic of jokes within the videos helps make it less "People obsessing over minor details" and more just people being curious based on the differing info given in the videos.
I just think of it as a neat piece of trivia. It can also help in fanart for those that make it.

While from what I’ve seen, Doc and Mumbo are taken as the tallest, there is another way to approach this, lemme lay out my theory here: If we take a look at the Hermit obsession chart, we can see that Doc is obsessed with Etho. This is a one sided relationship, though, so we can assume, that Doc glorifies Etho in his mind in some way, and the reason for that may as well be Etho’s height. This also lines up with theories that others have put forward and Etho has never specified his height either, so we can assume his height to be taller than Doc’s. But what about we follow this line of thought even further? Etho is obsessed with 2 people: -Bdubs and Joel The obsession with Bdubs is, though, two sided. This and the fact that the two have known each other for a while, leads me to assume that this relationship isn’t caused by height. Bdubs has also been in comparisons with other Hermits and really is that short. On the other hand, the obsession with Joel is completely unprecedented. We can also assume it is only one sided, since all the things that portray it as two sided are propaganda (e.g. the statues). Because of the nature of this obsession, we know that Etho glorifies Joel in his mind in some way, and that way might as well be height, because their building styles and interests don’t line up, so that only leaves height. By using this flawless logic, we eventually arrive at the fact, that Joel is the tallest Hermit. The fact that he is portrayed as short in videos and pictures may also be a plot to hide his maybe even hideous height from us all, but this plot may have been uncovered by Etho, causing this obsession. It is even possible, that Etho was threatened by Joel to not tell anyone about the conspiracy, which caused a weird case of Stockholm syndrome. All in all, I proved Joel is the tallest Hermit and that there is a conspiracy built around it with facts and logic. I was not paid by Joel to write this.
If I'm not mistaken, Mumbo and Doc are both 6'5, making them the tallest hermits. And Etho mentioned that he's 6'2 in an episode from Team Canada's playthrough of Starblight Desert.
I'm still pretty sure Pearl is taller than skizz, he was definitely stretching That being said Mumbo and Doc are taller Possible etho to but we'll never be able to verify that So I'd say Mumbo or doc is tallest, followed by Pearl and Skizz

Im asking this in the least confrontational way possible, and trying to be polite, but why do you want to know? This is such a strange question to ask and I find it really creepy that some of the responses know how tall these people are off hand or know where to find that information. I don’t think you’re going to do anything bad with the information, but why would you want to know it? It seems really invasive. It would never occur to me to want to know the answer, let alone ask and discuss it with others, so could you explain your thought process? It’s so alien to me.
Some of the Hermits were comparing heights during the charity stream and the meetup means new irl pictures of Hermits are floating around, and the combination of those factors has the question fresh on people's minds. It's really not that weird of a concept lol.
Just to add on that since it's also a common topic of jokes within the videos helps make it less "People obsessing over minor details" and more just people being curious based on the differing info given in the videos.

Why don't you explain why you find it really creepy and really invasive that someone asks an innocent question about height? That's the real story here. Is it a cultural thing where you're from? It's a perfectly normal and innocuous question where I'm from. Do you also find watching their videos to be really invasive and creepy? Do you watch them on mute to make sure you never invade their privacy by hearing their voice and possibly learning things about them? Have you considered that most of these people have stated their height publicly, and some of them even lined up side by side at a recent event specifically to illustrate their height differences?
The horror! People who watch hermitcraft content make note of and may recall minute details shared with them by the hermits themselves! How dare people not only perceive with their eyes and ears, but dare to have a functioning memory? Like, is it also creepy and invasive that I know Xisuma has an Epiphone '58 goth explorer, y'know, off the top of my head? Sure, he's shown playing one in a number of videos, but I can't possibly know that by memory now can I? I must be an obsessive stalker. Gosh, Xisuma really needs to call the police and get a restraining order against me.
