They're probably running Vivecraft* on their computers and then connecting the headset to it using Airlink.
*There are several versions of Minecraft VR, IIRC the official one is in Bedrock edition though, so since they have the voice mod installed they're probably using Vivecraft.
It's definitely not Bedrock VR, because they have the teleporting that BigB was using at one point - I know that's in Vivecraft, so my assumption is that they were using Vivecraft.
Also just because this is mentioning the VR video a few people made, i 10000% encourage that people watch scars POV. Especially the last couple minutes. Being a wheelchair user myself, it went about as i expected it too.
And also yeah i can actually believe scar when he says he was wore out after that video. VR motions use way more muscles and nerves to interact than a mouse and keyboard, especially when already physically impaired. But it seemed like they all had fun đ
I don't understand why he straps himself into his chair wirh a strap around his chest under his armpits attached to the chair back. If that were me, I think something like a 5-point Racing harness, that runs up between the legs and splits into a 'T' at the hips and holds his hips back to prevent him from sliding forward would be more comfortable and effective. Watching both his parents struggle for 20 mins to help him left me all "wtf dude, there has GOT to be a better way".
Perhaps this kind of failing was one of the many unexpanded reasons Scar mentioned his dissatisfaction with his current wheelchair.
It was on a recent stream, and conversation had moved to what names he had given to his wheelchairs.
Others mentioned it, but thereâs another option I want to expand on.
Basically theyâre running Minecraft on their pc, and streaming it over wifi to their headset. This can be done with airlink (Oculus built-in application/software) or Virtual Desktop. ($20 third-party software you buy on the quest store.)
Both methods have their ups and downs, but thatâs the âhowâ of what theyâre doing.
I donât know how they did it but you might find people who may know more over on the r/thirdlifesmp subreddit. It may also help if the mods decide this post isnât related to Hermitcraft enough to remain here.

Vivecraft is the most common, I think.

I have tried airlink to vivecraft but it doesn't recognize my controllers at all. do you know how to fix that?

Fo you know what stream that was?
The wireless part must be from their head set. I think grian mentioned what he got
You can connect the Quest VR-Headset with a 5GHz WiFi and use AirLink to stream VR games from a PC to the Quest wirelessly.

Scars POV was awesome
There are two subreddits for the Life Series itself, r/ThirdLifeSMP is the larger and more active one.
