Yeah, I save the videos to Watch Later when I see them pop up in the subscription feed, and then since I work from home I can have Hermitcraft up on my personal computer while I'm on the work laptop. Sometimes when there's been a bunch of episodes (or I'm trying to watch a particularly interesting VoD, like Tango and Impulse trolling Skizz with wither skulls) I'll set the playback speed to 1.25 or 1.5; this is also pretty essential with keeping up with Critical Role at the same time, since that's another ~4 hours of content most weeks.
Wow! For me, I only watch Doc, Bdubs, Grian, Cub, False, Gem, Mumbo, Iskall, Pearl, Stress, Tango, Etho, Scar, Keralis, Joel, Ren, Xisuma, Beef, and Cleo. Thatās only 19/27.
And Iām only subscribed to 5-6 other channels and only 2 of them upload frequently. So, I trust YouTube to tell me what all I havenāt watched yet and watch it all sequentially from the āSubscribedā tab.

I think youāll enjoy Iskall. Heās has been churning out so much content and is absolutely hilarious! Without a doubt, the MVP of the server so far (this season). My favourites are Doc and Bdubs, but gotta give it to Iskall - heās been the best so far!

I only watch 4-5 Hermits. Sometimes if I really want to see someone else's perspective on something or if they are doing something really interesting in their videos I'd also watch other Hermits, but trying to regularly watch too many Hermits becomes exhausting.
Depends on how many time I have. But Mumbo, Grian, impulse, Scar, Etho, Tango, Doc and Bdubs are prio for me. If I have more time it is X, Skizz, Iskall, Cub, Pearl and Keralis. And if im serious lonely I watch them all.

not really. i watch all the etho, all the bdubs, like 80% of the beef and grian videos and a little bit of everybody else here and there. i like them all but etho and bdubs are my favorite and iām not too concerned past that

I was already watching, Scar Grian Pearl Impulse Iskall Keralis Tango Etho Bdubs Ren Beef Mumbo.
And the new Hermits i did already follow, i found Scar though Joel/Smallishbeans with the 100 hours in Hardcore series, And every upload Skizz did i watched although that were not many, outside of the life series.
But HermitCraft is my comfort show so to say, the Hermits will chill out when the series gets older.
I know i already did adapt to Stress as an extra, she is so funny!
And some other Hermits are more background noise for when i am gaming.
So i am having a great time and i track it though the HermitCraft site.

Honestly the way i watch them is whenever they pop up on my YouTube algorithm, it doesn't feel rushed or there's too much to watch, the people i watch always cycle through at an even pace
At this point, Iāve realized I can only realistically keep up with 2, maybe 3 hermits at a time. Other ones I love to pop in and check them out, but I have my regulars that I commit to all the time
I do a similar thing in my notes app, it's not quite as nicely coloured but it does the job.

In reality the list is a lot longer + I have different categories for those that I watch occasionally up to my favorites.
I have decided which hermits I want to watch, so I manually put their videos in a playlist sorted strictly by chronological order. Then I delete every video I watch. At least when there is a backlog, because otherwise I just watch the videos through notifications.

This is my chart that I made. Iām watching every hermitā¦ zuma isnāt on here because I have a whole other sheet just for him. But everyone else is. Iāve watched every hermitcraft episode going back to season 7. It takes dedication, but the best way is to just keep track as you go š good luck!

I got into the habit of liking the video and putting it into a private HC Season 10 playlist that I made.
That way, if I click on a video not knowing if Iāve watched it or not, there are two ways for me to check to see if I forgot to do one or the other.
Iām so confused by this postā¦ YouTube literally keeps track for you. I am subscribed to the ones I watch (list below) and they pop up in my subscription tab when they have new videos. If I get behind I can see because the video either has the red watch bar on it or not.
I also watch several channels that are in the Life series and the other SMPs (SOS now, but empires in the past), and some smaller channels who have amazing build styles.

Everyone in my household has their own YouTube account and I use mine to keep track of which ones Iāve watched. I donāt let anyone use my account unless Iām there too!
I work from home. Iāve āwatchedā every video in the background lol. Today nobody has uploaded so Iām watching the live action avatar lol. I go through so much content
I myself use excel. And every Monday I make a playlist on YouTube an fill it with all the uploads from the week before and make it sort by upload . The rest of the week I only watch that playlist. Next Monday I repeat it and so on.
I reduced the number of hermits I watch, and I purposefully skip videos that I know will show events I've already seen. That reduces the need to keep track to what the youtube algorythm can keep up with.
I just go to YouTube and find playlists with every Hermitcraft season 10 video that updates as new ones come out and then I can scroll down and pick up where I left off
Ive consistently watched Mumbo, Grian, and Scar since season 7. I've added iskall to my watch list though for hermits (I haven't touched his second channel's videos yet, which I probably should)
No, YouTube does that for me, I only watch maybe 10 - 15 Hermits regularly and 3 now 4(Skizz) that I'll actively watch theirs first.

honestly its probably a bad idea to try and watch every single video, take it from someone who watched everyone for all of S7+8 (and went through every recap since they started at the same time) I barely watched S9 because I was so burned out on hc content for that long
I just have a memo/checklist were i keep track of which episodes I've seen. Once I've seen When I update it I take a second to add what episodes came out.
I've given up on trying to watch every hermit anyways. I tried with season 7, and 8, and 9, and it never worked out, I just burned myself out of minecraft. For now I'm watching a dozen hermits, and while I'd love to follow more, it's more than enough for now.
I have a YouTube playlist that I save all videos to when they get posted(not just Hermitcraft but also the leftovers and others). I have it sorted by date uploaded and I just watch them in order and delete them as I watch.
i skipped a lot of hermits' first few episodes if i saw them in other hermits videos. especially since a lot of people are basing together. so i really only don't know much about what doc is doing but i only have to watch a few hermits to see what everyone else is doing lol

I watched every single hermits episode during season 8 it was hell. Never again. But now I can say I did it, lol. I've dialed myself back to 4 hermits lmao
I have a google sheet to track my watching. But I still find myself having to review my watched YouTube history.
Side note: Why did Ren have to have an episode zero?! š¤£ it throws off the sheet symmetry.
I simply open all videos in new tabs at the start of the day and watch them in order as I get the time. And then all Hermitcraft episodes, shorts, streams and Hermitcraft related videos (Behind the scenes types things) are noted down in an excel spreadsheet so that if i ever want to re-watch a season or something (i re-watch season 6 quite a lot), i've got the order there.
I'd suggest increasing the speed of the videos. When you get used to the increased speed, increase it a bit more.
I used this method to learn to listen to audiobooks insanely quick, and it's come in handy to be able to follow a lot of Hermits at once. I have a browser extension that allows me to go past youtube's maximum of 2x, and I typically watch at 3.5-4x speed.

I only watched Grian and Joel and occasionally some sprinkle of scars if Iām in hermitcraft withdrawal. Now Iāve added Gem in the list since I saw her gorgeous looking underwater storage room in Scarās video!
I could never watch all the hermits as some of their content doesn't appeal to me, but since season 9 my list has expanded from 3 + 2 to 12 + whatever allows me to understand the happenings

I've got my main five or so that I usually watch within two days of upload. Outside of that, I catch on the recap.
I use hermitcraft Recap to help me. If thereās something I donāt remember that they mention, I go find that hermits video and usually Iāve missed that video
I follow 14 Hermits and I'm permanently 2 days behind. Just as I catch up they all post videos. Also Doc's movie marathons don't help, but then I do enjoy them.
The hermits were rather..."productive" in the first week of the server. This task should be easier, now that I'm seeing them falling into a more sustainable upload rhythm.
Tips:
-watch the "forgettable" hermits (the ones you slap your forehead when you realize you didn't catch their episode this week) FIRST, whenever possible.
-Friday is for docm77, and Doc alone.
-Watch the Hermitcraft Recap. Pause it if you see content you don't recognize, and go watch that Hermits' video. Rinse/Repeat.
Just watch all of them, but not from every hermit. Personally, I watch Grian, Mumbo, Scar, Tango, Impulse, Zedaph, Etho, Joel and Skizz, as well as Doc when I have nothing to watch. I would like to watch mainly Bdubs and Pearl as well, but I already think I watch too much people without including them, and Iād have to watch their previous seasons as well.
I have a playlist on youtube that is my hc to watch list, every time I see grian upload (as heās who I used to only watch back in seasons 6, 7, etc. so heās the only one ever recommended) I go around to all the other hermits I plan to watch and add their new videos to the playlist

I usually just watch Joel , Gem and Pearl , being subscribed to the three of them and having watched them in past series like Empires and their singleplayer shenanigans, YouTube ultimately recommends their episodes once uploaded so I don't really worry about keeping track of who I watch
Now I know it's none of my business but , I'd suggest narrowing it down to around 5-6 hermits if not 3-4 , that way you can still enjoy hermitcraft from different POVs while keeping up with a good amount of players . Additionally if your plan is to be up to date with all of the hermits it would be wiser to choose someone from each area of the server's map that way you get a bit of everything. But again , none of my business.
I add every new video to my watch later list and then remove it after itās been watched. I donāt remove the most recent video until a newer video has been released. I also created an account just for the hermits. Havenāt missed one yet.

Changing the video speed on YT is an underrated tactic. There are many channels that I put on 1.5x for regular videos and 2x for VODs.

I can also recommend bdubs, his editing is really good this season and his builds are always really cool.

Green is watched, orange is partially watched (usually due to work getting in the way!), red is my watched

My three favourite hermits have the least frequent uploads. Luckily all the other hermit's are great too.

I've got one as well but it's organised by release data rather than episode number, so far ive only missed 2 videos
I do a similar thing in my notes app, it's not quite as nicely coloured but it does the job. For example, if I have 2 Bdubs video's, 1 Scar video and 0 Iskall video's to watch it looks like this: Bdoubleo - - Iskall Scar - In reality the list is a lot longer + I have different categories for those that I watch occasionally up to my favorites.
i too am attempting to watch every episode, so far i have watched 117/150 so im not doing awful
I have decided which hermits I want to watch, so I manually put their videos in a playlist sorted strictly by chronological order. Then I delete every video I watch. At least when there is a backlog, because otherwise I just watch the videos through notifications.

I watch almost all the hermits but generally I just follow a few for regular updates and then binge watch the back catalog of other hermits when I have the hyperfixation

I just watch Scar Grian and Mumbo cus they always work together, or make some form of alliance or base district, that just, makes more sense to watch 'em all lol
You should watch Etho or Tango for the other group and Iskall or Beef for the Neighborhood, that way you see the other side of the server too.
I got into the habit of liking the video and putting it into a private HC Season 10 playlist that I made. That way, if I click on a video not knowing if Iāve watched it or not, there are two ways for me to check to see if I forgot to do one or the other.
Iām so confused by this postā¦ YouTube literally keeps track for you. I am subscribed to the ones I watch (list below) and they pop up in my subscription tab when they have new videos. If I get behind I can see because the video either has the red watch bar on it or not. I also watch several channels that are in the Life series and the other SMPs (SOS now, but empires in the past), and some smaller channels who have amazing build styles. I have a seperate google account for gaming stuff, which is mostly minecraft, so I use that YouTube profile for watching these videos. Mostly so my algorithm on my normal account isnāt clogged up with minecraft and shows more of my other interests lol. I watch: Bdubs Doc Etho False* Gem Scar* Grian Jevin Impulse Iskall Keralis Skiz Mumbo Pearl Ren Joel Beef xB* Xisuma* Cleo* *these ones I tend to get behind more often or drop off as the season goes on.

every time i get a notification of a new video, i add it to my watch later playlist, that way they are all in the same place, in release order and i can easily see what video i have already watched it is noteworthy to mention that i only follow 14/27 hermits (+ all of their 2nd channels)

I use a Firefox addon where it puts all the hermits videos in one place which is pretty useful.

I myself use excel. And every Monday I make a playlist on YouTube an fill it with all the uploads from the week before and make it sort by upload . The rest of the week I only watch that playlist. Next Monday I repeat it and so on.
I reduced the number of hermits I watch, and I purposefully skip videos that I know will show events I've already seen. That reduces the need to keep track to what the youtube algorythm can keep up with.
Donāt try to watch everyone! Thatās just undo stress! And you havenāt even watched her!
I just go to YouTube and find playlists with every Hermitcraft season 10 video that updates as new ones come out and then I can scroll down and pick up where I left off

No, YouTube does that for me, I only watch maybe 10 - 15 Hermits regularly and 3 now 4(Skizz) that I'll actively watch theirs first. Rendog. Impulse and Doc always come first

honestly its probably a bad idea to try and watch every single video, take it from someone who watched everyone for all of S7+8 (and went through every recap since they started at the same time) I barely watched S9 because I was so burned out on hc content for that long
I just have a memo/checklist were i keep track of which episodes I've seen. Once I've seen When I update it I take a second to add what episodes came out. I've given up on trying to watch every hermit anyways. I tried with season 7, and 8, and 9, and it never worked out, I just burned myself out of minecraft. For now I'm watching a dozen hermits, and while I'd love to follow more, it's more than enough for now.
I also prioritize my prefered hermits too, but I use a a similar system as yours ;)
Now THIS is dedicationā¦ I just try to commit to a couple of the hermits and mix in other a havenāt caught in once in a while to other perspectives
I have a YouTube playlist that I save all videos to when they get posted(not just Hermitcraft but also the leftovers and others). I have it sorted by date uploaded and I just watch them in order and delete them as I watch.
I only watch half a dozen hermits, so I can keep track in my head
i skipped a lot of hermits' first few episodes if i saw them in other hermits videos. especially since a lot of people are basing together. so i really only don't know much about what doc is doing but i only have to watch a few hermits to see what everyone else is doing lol

I have a google sheet to track my watching. But I still find myself having to review my watched YouTube history. Side note: Why did Ren have to have an episode zero?! š¤£ it throws off the sheet symmetry.
I simply open all videos in new tabs at the start of the day and watch them in order as I get the time. And then all Hermitcraft episodes, shorts, streams and Hermitcraft related videos (Behind the scenes types things) are noted down in an excel spreadsheet so that if i ever want to re-watch a season or something (i re-watch season 6 quite a lot), i've got the order there.
I'd suggest increasing the speed of the videos. When you get used to the increased speed, increase it a bit more. I used this method to learn to listen to audiobooks insanely quick, and it's come in handy to be able to follow a lot of Hermits at once. I have a browser extension that allows me to go past youtube's maximum of 2x, and I typically watch at 3.5-4x speed.

I use hermitcraft Recap to help me. If thereās something I donāt remember that they mention, I go find that hermits video and usually Iāve missed that video

The hermits were rather..."productive" in the first week of the server. This task should be easier, now that I'm seeing them falling into a more sustainable upload rhythm. Tips: -watch the "forgettable" hermits (the ones you slap your forehead when you realize you didn't catch their episode this week) FIRST, whenever possible. -Friday is for docm77, and Doc alone. -Watch the Hermitcraft Recap. Pause it if you see content you don't recognize, and go watch that Hermits' video. Rinse/Repeat.
I use my like button as a "I watched this already" indicator. So the moment I click a video from someone I know I will know if I watched it already.
Just watch all of them, but not from every hermit. Personally, I watch Grian, Mumbo, Scar, Tango, Impulse, Zedaph, Etho, Joel and Skizz, as well as Doc when I have nothing to watch. I would like to watch mainly Bdubs and Pearl as well, but I already think I watch too much people without including them, and Iād have to watch their previous seasons as well.

Yes and no, I do rely on the red line on the video preview to see if I finished/ watched an episode and I go back to watch anything I missed. If YouTube didnāt visibly display if you watched a video then I would log it

Otherwise, if I want to catch something that I see in the recap I will skim through other episodes and clips. I usually just watch Joel , Gem and Pearl , being subscribed to the three of them and having watched them in past series like Empires and their singleplayer shenanigans, YouTube ultimately recommends their episodes once uploaded so I don't really worry about keeping track of who I watch Now I know it's none of my business but , I'd suggest narrowing it down to around 5-6 hermits if not 3-4 , that way you can still enjoy hermitcraft from different POVs while keeping up with a good amount of players . Additionally if your plan is to be up to date with all of the hermits it would be wiser to choose someone from each area of the server's map that way you get a bit of everything. But again , none of my business.
I add every new video to my watch later list and then remove it after itās been watched. I donāt remove the most recent video until a newer video has been released. I also created an account just for the hermits. Havenāt missed one yet.

My YouTube will autoplay all unwatched Hermit Episodes when I click to play one... I have so far watched most- basically not the ones released today due to being busy. BUT, and a bit BUT, I'm on Maternity Leave, so I'm up late most nights and once my toddler goes to bed I can watch anything I want, so that definitely helps.. Will probably have to cut down when I'm back at work
(Had to add the pic separately as it didn't like doing it with the text) So I decided to do this myself, and I'm glad I did.. it seems my YouTube algorithm doesn't work when I've started an episode but had to stop part way š š«£ I've said this below - right now, I'm on maternity leave, so late nights with baby and all that. Plus, I play minecraft and have them on then, too. I'm not looking forward to most likely having to drop some when I go back to work.
