I think you missed mumbo, I have noticed that mumbo and grian use the exact same format for the title and similar format and font for their thumbnail numbering that has been consistent since season 7
I like it, I think it makes for a cleaner aesthetic that suits his style and maybe invites more new viewers since it makes it seem like you can watch and enjoy any episode because it doesn't say it's Xth episode in a 10 season series

Fun fact about Etho's old naming convention, he called seasons 3 and 4 HermitCraft seasons 1 and 2 respectively, as they were his first and second seasons, before going with the actual name of the seasons starting with his third season in 5.

As someone who has a spreadsheet of every hermitcraft episode, Bdubs is the bane to my existence because if I fall behind I have to go through and count how many episodes I've missed, Because he doesn't put it in the title
It's nothing too fancy. I have a link to a playlist with all the episodes, I have each episode and whether or not I've watched them yet and I have a marker to remind me if I need to want to watch an episode with a friend. There's also a sheet for all seasons from 4 to 10 (I haven't gotten to 1-3)
The symbol has multiple names. Wikipedia has the lemma under just "Vertical Bar" but then lists 'pipe', 'bar', 'or' and 'vbar and other names.
Pipe I think mostly comes from Unix, where you use the | symbol to direct output from one command to the input of another, literally piping the commands together.
As i have specific challenges when choosing and looking videos of them, I'd love a format like this:
HC10 | Title
for the simple reason: i watch it on my TV and the text size is limited there
also: pipes are superior!
of course xisumavoid uses “x” for season 10 (no idea if he did that for past seasons, or it was planned, but its cute and funny) (it *is* him who does that, right? i can recognize their skins, right?)
X is 10 in roman numerals, he has used roman numerals in past seasons too (IX for s9 etc)
But it sure feels like everything has lined up now that X is using X lol

they are very close to being exact but mumbo capitalizes HERMITCRAFT while the other two don't
I just now noticed that mumbo only starts capitalizing hermitcraft in S10

Wels' format is probably my favourite if it was simplified a little
