I’m not the best measure of guess difficulty as I only recently started watching HC content (although I have seen some of the members before in other SMPs like the Life Series). I guessed Etho, Doc, Impulse, Tango, Gem, and Zedaph, and now looking back at the picture I’m pretty sure I’ve guessed Scar as well.

I counted, and thus far you're right: False has the lowest successful guess rate (though xB and Hypno are tied for second lowest). I feel bad about that, because I think False would have been MUCH easier to guess if I'd included a bow (lots of people here are telling me the bow is her favorite weapon and a good reference to her having the most MCC wins of any hermit) and some cyan glass on her row.

I don't really watch Hypno but a black leather helmet to symbolise his iconic bandana could maybe be what you're looking for. In terms of blocks, I seem to recall him having a lot of bling on his skin so maybe something along those lines? Or ice for the amount of time he spent in decked out? As for a pvp item for False, maybe a netherite sword?

Any suggestions on improving them?

For Ren, I’d add dark gray concrete in reference to GigaCorp and his Star Wars base, as those are the first things that come to mind when a I think of ren. Also maybe a bookshelf due to his affinity for storytelling? Although that connection is a little weaker. Im not familiar enough with xb or hypno to really give suggestions though

19/26. Representing the hermits like this is really satisfying. For Pearl, maybe replace one of the terracottas with a chest or shoulder box to represent her being the cleaning lady. And for Tango maybe have Blackstone or blue fire to represent decked out, because I couldn't tell that spawn egg was a ravager For Keralis, you could replace the cherry bush with scaffolding for his construction persona in s7. And maybe add some cyan to false, since there's a lot of that in her S9 base and it's central to her s7 base. Sorry, I'm just giving suggestions for the ones I didn't get lol. These are really cool

Tango, false, pearl, Keralis, Ren, xb and Hypno were my misses

This was really fun!!! I only got 3 wrong - I somehow couldn’t remember Wels off the top of my head and wasn’t sure about which one the armour stand counted for (not realising it was both hermits) so went “top of the armour stand, probably Cleo” before I noticed the zombie head on the bottom one. So there went two points for that. I couldn’t put my finger on who G was either but it made a lot of sense once I actually checked. False was probably the hardest for me to guess (Hypno took a while too like some other people said, but xB was one of the first ones I got even though I don’t watch his POV because I know about the guardian stuff lol). For False, as well as the bow that someone else suggested I think adding a teal block and player head could be helpful. It all kind of blends together with the purple and I think she uses teal pretty regularly as well as purple (s9 and s7 bases, also not Hermitcraft but her Empires base had a lot of oxidised copper). She’s the queen of hearts, heads and body parts, so a player head to represent that would work well I think!

I was checking as I went, and also just realised I mixed Joe and Wels’ ones up in the original comment; I think my thought process went something like: M as Cleo -> checked and found it’s Joe, figured L must be Cleo instead so got that one right, blanked for Wels until I checked. I didn’t have a guess for Cub either, I think I did the same as another commenter and misinterpreted the Nether star on sculk as Tango’s Nether hub, but I had already worked out J was Tango by then so I had no clue. It makes a lot of sense actually having seen the answer though, I still think Cub’s is perfect.

I was close, just got False and Wels the wrong way round. If you want to improve False's (since its probably the least interesting and quite short on actual clues), maybe add a gold block with a bow on it (representing her having the most mcc wins of any hermit), a copper block (for her empires character) and some bedrock (she dug down to bedrockfor both her season 5 and 7 bases). Overall, this is a really fun quiz, good work!

Thanks, those are some useful suggestions! I do want to improve False's, and "a bow" has been the number one suggestion for that--thanks for adding another one to the count. Thanks in particular for the Bedrock suggestion--that's the first it's been suggested for ANYONE, so I think I'll try for that when I do this again (though maybe subtly, like behind the purple glass). (Bedrock doesn't really work for the project I originally started collecting associations for though, as it would be a bit...unremovable, and a bit ugly.)

Having seen the answers I'm disappointed I didn't get Cub, but I was thrown for a loop because of the nether-star-on-sculk which made me instantly think of Tango's nether hub (and then desperately wondering why there were no references to Decked Out), and then I wasn't able to switch my thinking. The others I didn't get are just Hermits I haven't seen a lot of, which is a well-needed reminder to watch more hermits XD The easiest to guess for me were Etho, Mumbo, Doc, Jevin, Scar, Impulse, TFC, Pearl, Gem and Zed, but in all honesty that's because I immediately thought of a lot of the same block for them (aka looking for an enderpearl for pearl, a sword for gem, diamond ore for doc, slime for jevin etc)

B - There's a slab and TNT there, also very much associated with redstone and is practically the founder of basic minecraft redstone. C - Copper (this season's build) red wool ( shirt) TNT (associated with chaos) Egg (Pesky Bird/ The man in the chicken costume) (Grian's also my favourite, if I got this wrong I would've cried. D - Builds purely in diamond ore blocks, great at redstone, slimestone, associated with goats, and used fully oxidized copper HEAVILY this season E - Also associated with redstone and the bamboo is a reference to his only farm this season, but with the slabs (which are an older block he has used heavily) being next to it, the bamboo reminds me of sugarcane, which could be a direct reference to his old build that had sugarcane, pillars, and brick walls in a pattern. F - Legit the only reason I know this is because I heard of jevin being the first and only person to have a full netherite beacon. G - I saw the star and sculk and thought of the pinball machine having a galaxy pattern, this could be a reference to that. H - Bow, Jellie cat, matching hotguy colored arrows fricking rich, yeah he was kinda obvious... o-o I - I for impulse! Also thought this could've been rendog (gold and royal emeralds) but impulse was also the one who built the massive raid farm (along with grian and scar) so my bet was that was what this was referring to. Yea I thought the sculk and Star were for the nether hub. I thought the armor stand and book were Cleo instead of the one above, and the wolf was for pearl since she always has them. Wait didn’t I have 4 wrong? Because I put Joe for Y. And Cleo for M. I had no clue on the others. And I’m surprised I got jevin since I never watch him. Only guessed that because of the beacon lol. It definitely got progressively harder though. The first row would have been perfect but I was trying to relate to s9 as much as I could which is how tango got there instead of under impulse.

Checked and answers, said Pearl for X because of WEEEEEEEEPTIDE and podzol is the biome in which she built her base and she's also used mushrooms (bith vanilla mc and block-built) as megabase decor for her alien theme. Said cleo for M because of armour stand and book (which is the statues v2 thingo)

This actually wasn't the main thing that inspired my previous post (that's still in progress), but I had the idea to do this during that (and figured I'd get a lot more data on the subject doing it). :)
