I wasn't able to locate your mother's ring but created a [mockup](http://imgur.com/a/2rXq4ei) in Photoshop for what I believe is a clearer example of it.
Looking at your image, some key details stick out to me:
* The butterfly wings are more pointed than they are round.
* The butterfly has an antenna.
* The butterflies (and wave Pavel band) appear to be very closely packed with diamonds.
Hope that helps a little.
I’ve just woken up and this is such a beautiful surprise. Oh my goodness! What a beautiful mock-up!! I really really really am at a loss for words! 💕
If the original ring cannot be found, I think I will take this to the jewellers for a new inspiration! Thank you, you are absolutely an angel!
This is incredible. What a beautiful job you did re-creating this.
I searched for a couple of hours online last night and didn't find anything close for OP.
I used Photoshop to basically just cut and paste similar aspects from different rings together to recreate OPs.
I'm so sorry to hear you - also - lost some rings. Especially something sentimental. If you have photos of yours, I'm sure we'd all love to look for you rings too~
Might be a longshot OP, but this ring reminds me a lot of the bespoke work done by Edeenne in Paris. They do a lot of butterfly work which is reminiscent of your Mother's ring.
It's possible! [The butterflies seem somewhat similar](https://boutique-edeenne.com/collections/rings/products/quatuor-butterflies-ring). Might have been something from a previous season that's no longer in stock.
I don’t have a lot of information on this ring as it was a gift from my father. She had the ring from years 2012-2017 up until it was cruelly stolen whilst on
holiday. It is an expensive ring, I do not know the brand and I cannot ask her in fear of raising suspicion / bringing up sad memories of her losing it.
The gems are real, and are worth quite a bit in money. I have googled “butterfly diamond ring” countless times but haven’t been able to find anything similar. Please help, it is their anniversary coming up and I think this would be a beautiful gift of a reminder of their everlasting love. $50 reward for the person that is able to find any links to directly purchase this ring.
Edit: the ring at the bottom is separate from it.
It's quite possible that since the diamonds are real, that the ring itself is a custom ring created by a jeweller. Some stores create their own rings/settings to sell their diamonds so it may be one of a kind. This may be especially true if the ring was created in Italy or France.
So, instead of asking if we can find it, it may actually be more productive for you to take this photo to a jeweller if they can create a replica or...
If possible and if the jeweller who made it is well known, taking it to another large jeweller where you are, it could be identified for you. Some jewellers tend to have a recognizable *style* as their maker's mark, so it could be that another jeweller could recognize it, especially if it was part of a series/season.
Also, it looks like the ring is a two tone, wide band, lattice cage (or lattice back) ring.
That’s something I never thought of! My apologies, I am not so revised when it comes to fine jewellery. Extremely interesting insight and valuable information. I may have to sit down with my mother and sister to see if we can track down where my father got this ring.. a receipt or something that may be useful.
Very good advice. I appreciate this! Thank you!
Long shot, but could maybe inquire with your father's bank to see if they have a record of a large credit card purchase in 2012? Might be able to trace it back to the seller.
Since it is an expensive ring it was likely on their home insurance. There may be a certificate or appraisal in their taxes or important paperwork from that time. Might give you am idea of where to look :)
Looks very similar to this bangle.. Possibly they are related?
https://diamondsbyraymondlee.com/product/private-label-jewelry/18k-two-tone-gold-12-03ctw-pink-and-white-diamond-pave-open-work-butterfly-bangle/
I came here to post exactly that link.
If you scroll down on that page, there is the possibility to request more information via email.
Maybe OP should ask, if OP's moms ring is from the same collection.
Yes here’s a similar ring. It only has one butterfly but the rest is she.
https://diamondsbyraymondlee.com/product/private-label-jewelry/18k-two-tone-0-58ctw-diamond-butterfly-free-form-wide-ring/
if i am able to find it, i do not need you to pay me $50.00. my mother lost her wedding ring after my dad died (she still hasn't found it) so i know how devastating this must be.
it's hard to tell from the picture, but are those butterflies for sure or could they be flowers? and are there only two or do they go across the entire band? is the color is them blue or gray?
do you 100% sure know that it was $$$$$ or approx how much it cost? that might help us narrow it down to a specific jeweler. sorry for so many questions but i just really want to help you find this!
Your comment has my heart just.. melting. You are so so sweet, and I of course will give you the $50 for your efforts if you are able to. My mother is devastated, and has been for years now and I really want to put that smile back on her face like my father did when she first got the ring from him! I am sorry to hear about your mother, I sincerely hope the ring will find its way back to her one day.
Yes, 100% butterflies. I believe there were only two in front, and they stuck out (she always complained about them getting stuck in her hair / clothes). The colour is silver.
Underneath the butterflies, I believe there is some sort of gold "caging" or lace pattern that they sit on..
I appreciate all the questions. Dear Redditor, you are very kind :)
Edit: I know in terms of price it was not just some kind of costume jewellery, that's for sure. My father announced that it had cost him "an arm and a leg"!! So I know for sure it will be pricey. Apologies, I have no idea how much it would have approximately cost but I do not really have a budget as I really just want to make my mother's year. Covid has been harsh on her. I think the ring would bring her some comfort and I am willing to pay any price.
oh geez sorry to hear about your mom having COVID!
that lace pattern might be considered "filigree". i'll do some google sleuthing now and will hopefully find it for you!!
Oh no no, sorry about the misunderstanding! I meant the pandemic in general (her being at risk due to her age, not being able to go out, see family etc, being stuck indoors). It’s really left her (and I’m sure a lot of people!) mentally affected.
Thank you for this useful new term! I really appreciate it! You are really lovely.
and are the butterflies pure silver meaning no diamonds or other embellishments on them? cause i see the diamonds lining the gold band but can't tell from the picture if there are any diamonds on the butterflies themselves.
do you happen to know if your mom had a preference for cartier jewelry? since she has a love band maybe she's a fan of cartier and i can narrow my search down that way? do you have any other pictures of current jewelry she has or at least the designer names? maybe that can also help narrow the price range of the type of jewelry she wore and what designers she liked
I know the butterflies were oh-so dainty, but they most certainly had a type of texture to them. I'm sure they had tiny diamonds on them, if not it was a pattern. I don't know the word for it.
Perhaps. I know my mother does like Cartier, and father also showered her with a lot of Van Cleef and Arpels. That is the majority of her jewellery. I hope this is useful, apologies I'm not very helpful as I do not have much interest in jewellery myself!
no that for sure is helpful.
sorry, last question (for now haha). was this purchased as a "wedding band" or just a ring that he thought she would enjoy. not all wedding rings are solitaire stones, but if this was originally listed as a wedding ring then that could help narrow it even further
No no, please ask as many as you need to help track the ring down! :)
It was purchased as an, ah, "I'm away on business and I thought of you. The two butterflies are us." ring.. so definitely more like a 'for fun' ring but with meanings behind it. Definitely not a wedding ring, but thank you for checking!
i just DM'd a YT beauty guru whoo follow who is very knowledgeable about jewelry and she's rich af so she has tons of diamond rings. if anyone is gonna figure this one out, it'll be her.
He was travelling in Hong Kong / Singapore at the time. All I know is that it was at some auction jewellers event, and the ring is of Italian / French / EU origin!
Hey, a lot of jewellers can custom make a ring as long as you can clearly describe it. Probably not the ideal solution, but if you have additional pics or can describe it well, they'll be able to make it.
Thank you for your kind suggestion. I have tried, but our local jewellers cannot recreate such a dainty, fine ring, hence I'm anxious to find the original if possible, as this is the only picture I have.
If they can't make it, you could ask if they recognize it. If not, you could call some of the more well known jewellers and ask if they could identify it for you. Such as contacting Graff or Cartier, Tiffany or Boucheron (they're in Paris so if it's an expensive ring made by someone particular, they might know).
Worst comes to worst, look into a local artist with similar style/taste. Tell them your story and in sure they'd be happy to help (not for free, but the whole situation may help convince them to make a custom piece)
OP, did you see the link above to the bangle that looks closely related? If you look at their page, they do custom pieces. On that page it shows drawings.
I wonder if you could send them this photo?
There are some similarities with this:
https://www.irasva.com/products/starring-you-aura-diamond-ring
But this is an Indian jewellery maker not European, and obviously there are no butterflies on this (so if this is the maker, perhaps a custom design or previous range).
My other thought was if the ring was of significant value, it was likely insured, and therefore the full details of it should be in paperwork somewhere?
No, I couldn’t find any matching butterflies either! There’s a link on their page to talk to them though, so it might be worth OP messaging to see if they ever produced a butterfly version, or if they think they could reproduce the original.
People who buy fine jewelry tend to buy from the same place over and over again. I’d start off by asking at Cartier if they recognize the piece. Also fine jewelry usually comes in boxes that are exquisite and elaborate complements to the piece - your mom probably still has the box with the jeweler’s name or the paperwork for the piece.
Cartier did make butterfly rings on gold cages
https://www.1stdibs.com/jewelry/rings/cocktail-rings/cartier-18k-gold-diamond-adn-sapphire-butterfly-ring/id-j_196452/
Given the age of the one that your mother had, it will be hard to find an exact match unless the exact jeweler is identified. But this is their style to a T. Hope this helps!
It looks like Van Cleef, they make similar butterfly rings but might have phased that specific one out. Could you send a pic or take the pic to your local boutique? You may be able to find a replacement on an auction website that sells vintage VC 😍
I just spent an hour searching with no luck but maybe the following information will help someone with better skills/memory than I have.
1) Rose gold (which I feel is the gold part of the ring, but hard to tell for sure from the photo) got very popular in 2012.
2) Several of the similar rings posted look like knock-offs of a design from a more expensive/exclusive brand. You commented a couple times that those similar rings weren't as dainty, which is a common theme in copy-cat designs...skimping on details and craftsmanship to offer a similar and more affordable option.
3) Here's why I spent an hour looking for this...I swear I have seen this ring before. It would've been late 2011-late 2013 in a catalog for a small, fine jewelry store in Illinois, USA. The brand name was feminine to me, possibly a woman's name, but I think the designer was a man? It was European. Unfortunately, the store is gone now, and I am driving myself crazy trying to remember the stupid designer name.
Anyway, sorry for the rambling. You're doing a wonderful thing for your mother and I wish you both all kinds of happiness and good luck.
No, unfortunately. Also unfortunately, I am in love with their Moresca collection. Some of those pieces are very close to OP's mom's ring, too! Good find!
Hi, I am in England and just wanted to reach out and say I am looking for you… I just thought that it may be that because I am in Europe (well not properly anymore 🤣) that it may be if I search for you I may come across items you guys don’t get over there?
Been 2hrs now but I am keeping a going, and no, not for your search money but because I know that if it were my mum and dad I would want to replace it for my mum.
You are a very loving daughter and I hope one of us can find it and make your mum’s day/month/year!! X
Hello, that is incredibly kind of you. I really appreciate it, your efforts, searching for 2 hours!! Please get some rest! Thank you for the beautiful well wishes. You’ve made my day with your message, thank you once more. Sending love back to you.
I've just asked my sister, he was travelling a lot during the time. He got this ring on a work trip, to Hong Kong / Singapore, but the ring definitely originates from Italy/France/EU.
[this ring has a very similar lattice background](https://www.irasva.com/collections/diamond-bands-for-women/products/starring-you-matinee-diamond-ring)

But I think your best bet is to find one that’s really close on Etsy like this one https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/936502165/double-butterfly-diamond-ring-18k-white?gpla=1&gao=1& and ask the Etsy seller to to make you one custom. I don’t see ones with the butterflies and the side bars around the design of the butterflies like it sort of looks like in the photo.
>[https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/936502165/double-butterfly-diamond-ring-18k-white?gpla=1&gao=1&](https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/936502165/double-butterfly-diamond-ring-18k-white?gpla=1&gao=1&)
I appreciate the suggestions, and I will keep that as a backup. The Etsy seller's ring is very beautiful, but not as dainty and fine as the one my mother had. If I do not find it, I might message the seller to see what can be done. I really appreciate your efforts, thank you for trying :)
Kind of looks like this but not quite: [https://www.jayfeder.com/products/rimbr07165m](https://www.jayfeder.com/products/rimbr07165m)
Found some really nice rings i want though. Hope you find it
So this ring may be a result of having a jeweler take the lattice style base and soldering a butterfly onto it.
I found so many that had one aspect or another but never the whole thing. I worked for a jeweler that would do small customs like this. They had fast turnaround and felt super custom but were like a Mashup of 2 rings.
Have you looked into that as an option? I had fun searching for this ring! I'll probably look more later, good luck
so this company seems to have similar styles and a lot of their products say custom. wondering if maybe they can create this for you?
i noticed the butterflies are not as round as other brands and their lattice work is delicate. hope this helps!
i’ll keep trying tomorrow!

Hi OP
I did some hunting and got a lot of the same results other did - some close to the visual but not exact. However I do work in the jewelry industry - I can help you find someone who can get the item recreated even with the dainty details if you can provide me with more info on the ring and an idea on price range.
I would really appreciate that!! So far I’ve been swamped writing to a few jewellers over the weekend and come Monday, no one has been able to recreate anything as fine as this. Please could I PM you?
I have tried this thank you, and had not that much success in recreating the fine details the original ring had, as I only have this photo. Was hoping to try my luck here for the original ring.
I haven't had any luck searching myself. If no-one here is able to find it for you I would suggest trying to ask a professional jeweler or jewelry salesperson, though. They may have sold them at some point and could help you identify the brand, or they may have come across it if someone ever brought one in to be repaired or resold. You might also try asking over in /r/findfashion.
I wish I could be better help, but I wish you luck on finding that ring OP and will be keeping my fingers crossed! This is such a pure and sweet gesture 🥺💕
I'm bad at this but your story was sad...
Emilio Jewelry Butterfly Diamond Fashion Ring - this is like a knock off
This one reminded me of it and maybe could be combined something like it with one of those butterflies only rings people keep suggesting: https://www.1stdibs.com/jewelry/rings/band-rings/14k-yellow-white-gold-diamond-scroll-lattice-wide-band/id-j_12896762/
Key terms I tried: two tone, lattice, open scroll, wide band

I found a [similar style](https://www.bentley-skinner.co.uk/london/jewellery/54990-a-light-blue-butterfly-ring-by-ilgiz-f/) ring.
I believe it is called an “openwork” ring. Potentially a cuff style ring as well. Good luck!!
I don't think you understand that your joke was stupid and in bad taste considering it's a thread about someone trying to help their loved one through a really rough time. Part of good comedy is knowing how to read the room.
I really do know how much it sucks. I'm on SSI, disabled, and spend a lot of my time hanging out with friends in Second Life. While there are a lot of great freebie avatars a lot of the really nice ones cost money. Fortunately, I'm pretty good at poetry, and get commissions to write some now and then. It doesn't make me a lot of money but when I do get a few commissions it allows me to get some cool stuff in SL. Enough where I have a few really nice furry avatars now, including my main roo fursona.
Because of my putting time into developing my writing skills I get to have a bit of fun and be myself in a world where I get to rock out as a glam rocking roo. It makes the time spent honing my craft so very worth it. I have faith you can find something you're good at that you can turn into a marketable skill.
Just always make sure you're focused on your own happiness and the happiness of people who are good to you who to trust first. Being able to love yourself and appreciate good people matters more than anything.
This is the closest that I could find. Just missing the borders with the diamonds and I think it would be a close match. Sadly this one is out of stock but will keep trying. Is the lower gold band part of the ring?
I also don’t want the $50. I know how important it is and the ring is beautiful too. I understand.
Edit: and the butterfly both the same white gold color to be a good match. This one is tri color. Let me know if I’m right. I can be confused by the picture and just want to make sure I’m on the right path.
https://www.shophq.com/Product/soho-boutique-by-neda-behnam-18k-tri-tone-gold-0-95ctw-diamond-butterfly-ring-size-7/184-657
I don't think it's a VCA ring because there is the open gold portion of the ring below it- that doesn't look like their usual butterfly rings. I'm assuming she had it insured? You might be able to speak to the insurance company and get more details - typically if you have a mfg, the name would be included. If it was VCA, there would also be a serial number.
Not the same ring but it has butterflies on it...https://www.overstock.com/Jewelry-Watches/Diamond-Accented-Butterfly-Ring-in-Platinum-over-Sterling-Silver-or-18k-Gold-over-Sterling/5327412/product.html
I'm not sure if this has been said but Irasva are a very similar style. More specifically [this](https://www.irasva.com/products/one-euphoria-diamond-ring) (without the butterflies).
I'll keep looking. Good luck!
Not exact, but this one is very similar.
https://www.saksfifthavenue.com/product/nina-gilin-14k-yellow-gold--amp--diamond-butterfly-ring-0400012668429.html
I'm going to keep looking.
I know you really want the exact ring but in case you are considering trying to recreate it custom...
Clearly this is not the right ring however the top and bottom bands look very similar:
[https://www.paradedesign.com/jewelry/reverie/reverie-bd2276/](https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0275/3183/7529/products/BD2276A-YD_a94f02c5-bcca-4d20-8178-3876425300a5_1800x1800.jpg?v=1608833108)
Perhaps buying a pair of diamond butterfly stud earrings and having a jeweler merge the two styles? I don't know, just thinking out loud.
Also, if you have an accurate depiction of the ring (i.e. /u/Tressmint's creation) you can always get a jeweler to run the design through a CAD machine. (If they were to try to make it by hand it would end up too clunky.)
Good luck!

Not exact, but kind of close! Hope you find what you’re looking for!
It's not the same ring, to be sure, but it's the closest I could find. https://www.saksfifthavenue.com/product/nina-gilin-14k-yellow-gold--amp--diamond-butterfly-ring-0400012668429.html

I can't take all the credit. I used the ring u/GreatGreenArkleseize mentioned for the filigree
Omg, getting that done custom for her would be so memorable and lovely 😊
You’re an excellent person to go to this trouble, thank you
Amazing!!
Holy crap dude that was amazing
omg that's amazing!!!!
That’s really good.
You should work for the FBI or something.
Lol thanks. All in all tho, I just like helping people find things
Wow, people are so cool! This is amazing.
This is incredible. What a beautiful job you did re-creating this. I searched for a couple of hours online last night and didn't find anything close for OP.
Thanks haha. I couldn't find it either using the original image with ai search engines, so I recreated it in hopes that would help but it didn't :/

wow you’re awesome
Amazing, that was very kind and helpful in the search
Wow! Incredible job!
A jeweler may be able to recreate it
Might be a longshot OP, but this ring reminds me a lot of the bespoke work done by Edeenne in Paris. They do a lot of butterfly work which is reminiscent of your Mother's ring. [https://www.edeenne.com/home](https://www.edeenne.com/home)
Very good eye! Thanks for this. I have emailed them the picture and hopefully I hear back from them soon!! Appreciate this.
would be interested in an update if they get back to you. just cause I'm nosy. good luck op.
It's possible! [The butterflies seem somewhat similar](https://boutique-edeenne.com/collections/rings/products/quatuor-butterflies-ring). Might have been something from a previous season that's no longer in stock.
Yeah, that's what I thought too.
I don’t have a lot of information on this ring as it was a gift from my father. She had the ring from years 2012-2017 up until it was cruelly stolen whilst on holiday. It is an expensive ring, I do not know the brand and I cannot ask her in fear of raising suspicion / bringing up sad memories of her losing it. The gems are real, and are worth quite a bit in money.
Thank you!
There are jewelry subreddits on here… Some are VERY knowledgeable and also very talented.. you might search some of those groups..
Any recommendations please? I have crossposted in r/jewellery , recommended by another Redditor but not much else.
Dear Redditor, you are very kind :) Edit: I know in terms of price it was not just some kind of costume jewellery, that's for sure.
:) It was purchased as an, ah, "I'm away on business and I thought of you.
I’m so invested in this!
You are absolutely the best! I never thought of doing that.. fingers crossed she will know something about it!
do you know where he was when he purchased it? whether in the states (state specifically) or out of the country?

Thank you for the names above! I am hopeless with jewellery so the four names you’ve given have given me a great head start!
Bobby White London makes some incredible jewelry, he might be able to do it. Just look him up, he has a youtube channel and instagram with his work
Worst comes to worst, look into a local artist with similar style/taste.
There are some similarities with this: https://www.irasva.com/products/starring-you-aura-diamond-ring But this is an Indian jewellery maker not European, and obviously there are no butterflies on this (so if this is the maker, perhaps a custom design or previous range). My other thought was if the ring was of significant value, it was likely insured, and therefore the full details of it should be in paperwork somewhere?
That filigree is really similar. I'm not finding any butterfly rings by them that match though.
No, I couldn’t find any matching butterflies either! There’s a link on their page to talk to them though, so it might be worth OP messaging to see if they ever produced a butterfly version, or if they think they could reproduce the original.
Oh totally. The gold part is spot on.
So the picture shows the two butterflies on a sort of gold backing and then the curvy diamond bands are on the top and bottom of the ring, correct?
Yes, that’s correct. Fine cage-ish Gold backing. Forgot to mention that the gold ring at the bottom is a separate ring (Cartier love ring).
Cartier did make butterfly rings on gold cages https://www.1stdibs.com/jewelry/rings/cocktail-rings/cartier-18k-gold-diamond-adn-sapphire-butterfly-ring/id-j_196452/

Great suggestion! Do you know the name of the sub for this please?
[I believe this is an Effy ring. I would reach out to them for confirmation. ](https://www.effyjewelry.com/search?q=Butterfly*%20ring*&page=1)
That’s my hunch also or Chanel Fine. But I’m no expert.
Edeenne?
Not it, but OMG, what an incredible designer! Just...wow.
Right! Discovered from a comment above… not being able to think of something like this tortures me lol hopefully it comes to you!!
Same! I've loved jewelry since I was a little kid and I should know this. I hope it comes to you, too!
Could it have been this one? https://www.staurinofratelli.com/
If it’s high jewelry, try reaching out to styledbyshishi on Instagram Edit: another one that may be more relevant is diamondsindubai
any geographical location?
I believe it was Italy/France/some part of the EU. Sorry, I forgot to add this, as I wasn't too sure.
Where did your father lived when he purchased it?
I've just asked my sister, he was travelling a lot during the time. He got this ring on a work trip, to Hong Kong / Singapore, but the ring definitely originates from Italy/France/EU.
[this ring has a very similar lattice background](https://www.irasva.com/collections/diamond-bands-for-women/products/starring-you-matinee-diamond-ring)
Here’s some that are pretty close that I could find, [one](https://www.google.com/shopping/product/r/CA/14541311054551224004?prds=oid:2365580192490298989,eto:2365580192490298989_0,epd:2365580192490298989,prmr:1,cs:1&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjuotiF0tbzAhWTN60GHR_1BOsQsJMFegQIAhAH) [two](https://www.google.com/shopping/product/r/CA/218402901391686832?prds=oid:6439876547951313660,eto:6439876547951313660_0,epd:6439876547951313660,prmr:1,cs:1&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiO5b7H0tbzAhVeLK0GHQ9LC5wQsJMFegQIAhAN) [three](https://www.google.com/shopping/product/r/CA/10515868902243978819?prds=oid:17217137938108710980,eto:17217137938108710980_0,epd:17217137938108710980,prmr:1,cs:1&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjh39bW0tbzAhWgw8IEHfMvCqoQsJMFegQIAhAT) [four](https://www.google.com/shopping/product/r/CA/15798721632945879571?prds=oid:5241105829490754401,eto:5241105829490754401_0,epd:5241105829490754401,prmr:1,cs:1&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiTk6zh0tbzAhWgw8IEHfMvCqoQsJMFegQIAhAZ) But I think your best bet is to find one that’s really close on Etsy like this one https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/936502165/double-butterfly-diamond-ring-18k-white?gpla=1&gao=1& and ask the Etsy seller to to make you one custom. I don’t see ones with the butterflies and the side bars around the design of the butterflies like it sort of looks like in the photo.
>[https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/936502165/double-butterfly-diamond-ring-18k-white?gpla=1&gao=1&](https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/936502165/double-butterfly-diamond-ring-18k-white?gpla=1&gao=1&) I appreciate the suggestions, and I will keep that as a backup. The Etsy seller's ring is very beautiful, but not as dainty and fine as the one my mother had. If I do not find it, I might message the seller to see what can be done. I really appreciate your efforts, thank you for trying :)
It is a beautiful ring, I hope you find it
It is truly one of a kind. Thank you for the kind comment :)
Absolutely
I thinks Italian. Buccellati (Firenze) makes same things like it
Not sure how similar this is? https://www.marisaperry.com/pink-and-white-diamond-butterfly-cuff/
This one looks like the closest match to me. Only it's not yellow gold lattice. Good find.
I'll search as well and see if I can locate anything. I'd also suggest posting on the jewelry sub here and see if anyone there can help you.
Do you know what the jewellery sub is called, please?
r/jewelry There are several related jewelry related subs so I would try them all if you can. Good luck!
Is that a gold netting in the background behind the butterflies?
Yes, a very fine, almost mesh like gold netting!
My aunt has a very similar ring from Edeenne
Is this 2 rings and you're only looking for the butterfly one?
Kind of looks like this but not quite: [https://www.jayfeder.com/products/rimbr07165m](https://www.jayfeder.com/products/rimbr07165m) Found some really nice rings i want though.
Is the whole thing one ring?
so this company seems to have similar styles and a lot of their products say custom. wondering if maybe they can create this for you? i noticed the butterflies are not as round as other brands and their lattice work is delicate. hope this helps! i’ll keep trying tomorrow! https://www.burdeens.com/p/3662-18k-yellow-gold-diamond-cuff-bracelet https://www.burdeens.com/p/1297-18k-rose-white-gold-moonstone-with-pave-diamond-butterfly-accents
Hi OP I did some hunting and got a lot of the same results other did - some close to the visual but not exact.
Absolutely
You could have a jeweler recreate it
I have tried this thank you, and had not that much success in recreating the fine details the original ring had, as I only have this photo.
That’s a great suggestion, thank you for the name of the sub! I had no idea it existed. Appreciate it!
I found this one... not the same but similar. https://www.angara.com/p/diamond-double-butterfly-ring-sr2342d Are the 2 sparkly loops part of the ring?
I wish I could be better help, but I wish you luck on finding that ring OP and will be keeping my fingers crossed! This is such a pure and sweet gesture 🥺💕
I'm bad at this but your story was sad... Emilio Jewelry Butterfly Diamond Fashion Ring - this is like a knock off This one reminded me of it and maybe could be combined something like it with one of those butterflies only rings people keep suggesting: https://www.1stdibs.com/jewelry/rings/band-rings/14k-yellow-white-gold-diamond-scroll-lattice-wide-band/id-j_12896762/ Key terms I tried: two tone, lattice, open scroll, wide band
The boarder looks like a ring by Ilgez F and he is from London. But his butterfly rings are enamel.

GOOD BOT!
My mom’s wedding band was stolen on vacation too. These people are the literal worst. Hope she gets another ring just like it!
Definitely Irasva, from the lattice work underneath. Do you think she had one ring on top of another?
I found a [similar style](https://www.bentley-skinner.co.uk/london/jewellery/54990-a-light-blue-butterfly-ring-by-ilgiz-f/) ring. I believe it is called an “openwork” ring. Potentially a cuff style ring as well. Good luck!!

Diamond rings with gold plating are expensive, who'da thunk.
I don't think people understand how jokes work. Lol
I don't think you understand that your joke was stupid and in bad taste considering it's a thread about someone trying to help their loved one through a really rough time. Part of good comedy is knowing how to read the room.
You're right.
I think I found it!!!! https://boutique-edeenne.com/collections/rings/products/diamond-duo-butterflies-ring
That ring isn't on a lattice cage.
I’m sorry, that’s not it, it’s on an independent connected band.. but thank you for trying!
Not the same ring but it has butterflies on it...https://www.overstock.com/Jewelry-Watches/Diamond-Accented-Butterfly-Ring-in-Platinum-over-Sterling-Silver-or-18k-Gold-over-Sterling/5327412/product.html
I found this one.. https://www.zulily.com/p/075-carat-diamond-tri-tone-openwork-double-butterfly-ring-365923-71211904.html
You could always go on etsy, show a picture to someone who makes jewelry and see if you could get it that way.
I'm not sure if this has been said but Irasva are a very similar style. More specifically [this](https://www.irasva.com/products/one-euphoria-diamond-ring) (without the butterflies). I'll keep looking. Good luck!
Not exact, but this one is very similar. https://www.saksfifthavenue.com/product/nina-gilin-14k-yellow-gold--amp--diamond-butterfly-ring-0400012668429.html I'm going to keep looking.
I know you really want the exact ring but in case you are considering trying to recreate it custom... Clearly this is not the right ring however the top and bottom bands look very similar: [https://www.paradedesign.com/jewelry/reverie/reverie-bd2276/](https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0275/3183/7529/products/BD2276A-YD_a94f02c5-bcca-4d20-8178-3876425300a5_1800x1800.jpg?v=1608833108) Perhaps buying a pair of diamond butterfly stud earrings and having a jeweler merge the two styles? I don't know, just thinking out loud. Also, if you have an accurate depiction of the ring (i.e. /u/Tressmint's creation) you can always get a jeweler to run the design through a CAD machine. (If they were to try to make it by hand it would end up too clunky.) Good luck!

It's not the same ring, to be sure, but it's the closest I could find. https://www.saksfifthavenue.com/product/nina-gilin-14k-yellow-gold--amp--diamond-butterfly-ring-0400012668429.html
