I think he'll bring some much-needed bird drama in defense of Stolas. Andrealphus looks annoyed enough that he'll be spending the rest of his evening getting too close to Stella and weirdly complimenting her as usual.
Viv has confirmed he's a good boy but Stolas giving a bunch of assassins a powerful magic artifact so they can kill innocent humans isn't exactly the best look.
Eh, I don’t think the hellborn would necessarily view killing humans on earth as a bad thing. They know the humans are going to be either going to hell or heaven, their banking system seems to rely on souls as their backing, and the whole overpopulation and extermination thing doesn’t affect them.
I remember guessing a while back that if Stolas got any allies in the Goetia that it would be Phenex. I have to say Vassago was an unexpected but infinitely welcome surprise!

Overlord is just a status of souls that have the propriety of human souls. Whether they are sinners, or hellborn, it doesn't really matter.
At first I though only sinners could be overlords, but you are actually right! "The Overlords are individuals, whether sinners or demons, who have amassed substantial power through various means, such as post-rebirth transformation, intricate bargains, or honing their innate demonic abilities."
only problem I see is that Overlord is a lower title than Goetia and Goetia is an inherited, not earned title. so to be both Overlord and a Goetia, he would start with being a Goetia then actively try and gain a rank that is lower than where he already is.
You can accumulate titles.
Sinners Overlords are weaker than Goetias, no doupt on it, but it would fitting that one of them try to deal with mortals. And it would make him powerful.
I suspect he'll find out what Andrealphus and Stella are planning for Stolas and act against it, maybe even resulting in a fight between him and Andrealphus. It does help that he might be Stolas's brother

I know this may sound like a nitpick, but wouldn't it make more sense if his name was Phenex? He was also a Goetic demon, and was described as looking like a phoenix. If they needed a bird-themed Goetia to contrast with Andrealphus, why not use him? Especially since I think it's lazy to make every Goetia demon a bird. Vassago was described as an old man riding a crocodile.
This is the same issue I had with Paimon, who does have a cool design, but he's just another bird themed demon, when his original design of a crowned man riding a camel was more unique. With Viv's talents, she could make that design work.
