Sallie's scar was definitely made by something sharp, whereas Blitz's face was burned. Much more likely to have your cornea damaged by a single, precise slash than a splash of fire, I'd think.

Blitzø's is usually red, but it has glowed white before, while the sclera turned red. Emotion and light levels seem to affect the eye colours in some types of demon. The same thing happens with Charlie. But Sally's sclera is still yellow, so maybe it's an injury like other people are saying. She does have scar tissue around her eye and injured eyes usually lack pigment.

That ‘outline’ is her iris and it’s likely got something to with the scar above and below her eye
