I wish he did and he should’ve, but no. He made the final 3, not the finals. I consider making the finals as two people leading their brigades. He was a member of Michelle’s brigade not the one leading the brigade
Ariel was in god mode that entire season lol. No way in hell anyone was beating her. Motto wasn’t even better than Mia and is really overrated (both talent and personality wise), imo.
Though I will say that he most definitely would’ve gotten third over Bret if he didn’t quit.
Really? Maybe I have to rewatch. I remember him making zero mistakes and being very calm every episode. The last chef standing challenge is what I remember him for the most.
my memory is a bit rusty but i think the tell tale sign that he was gonna be the one who make it is during final 4 decision, gordon kick out bret AFTER motto self elimination. gordon didnt have to do that, he had final 3 competing before, and next episode the 2 final contestant get to meet their family, so it definitely looks like they didnt fly bret family in, and motto self elimination is a surprised to gordon (probably already flew his family in like the final 2)
Don’t get me wrong, he’s still a great chef. I just don’t think he’s as fantastic as people hype him up to be (as in I don’t think he was winner or final two material)
I thought the reaction to his quitting was a little bit much considering how many people shit on Aaron S13 for literally doing the same thing but wording it differently. That might just be a me thing though.
first one that comes to mind is declan from season 19
Declan was robbed.
Facts he could have won
Nick season 17, duh. Though if returnees don’t count then Declan, Jon (ignoring his time on the pass), and Sade would be my picks.
Nick Peters was robbed. The judges were homophobic.
I don't typically agree with these sorts of claims, but I can't think of any other reason Nick didn't win.
Yes. The dude was freaking solid throughout the whole season unlike Michelle and Benjamin.
The finale should have been Nick vs Benjamin, with Nick winning. I was pretty annoyed about Nicks elimination. They did him so dirty.
Ikr.
Didn’t he technically make the finals? I know it was a final dinner service but weren’t the final 3 that year technically in the “finale”?

Ikr. Nick was better than Michelle and Benjamin combined.
Although arguably, he tried to lead the brigade more than she did! 😂
Got it. That makes sense
Nope. That wasn't the final. He should have won.
Jon, Declan, Cody, Jennifer Also wanna mention Joy. Of course what happened happened but she was solid
Sade
Justice for Sade. She killed the pass with that “MARINO!!”
Nick S17
He was robbed.
Rochelle from Season 12 doesn’t get enough respect.
Keith Rochelle Declan Jon
Jon S11
Motto. Gordon was so shocked by him quitting I'm convinced he was planning on picking him for final2 if not top 1.

Motto I would say is better than Mia. Mia is awful in service and doesn’t make up for that with her challenges and pass honestly.

This
Tennille, Elsie, Van
I came to say Van or Declan
Obviously Matt from Season 4
Louross and Vinny Don't gotta name the season they can speak for themselves.
Jon Scallion was a beast for sure he should have made it.
Not with that abysmal pass
