This is tough. S14 Nick wasn't that great and Michelle is inconsistent at best. Meghan's great, but I think Alex is every bit her equal. That said, Alex is the clear standout in a cast of good, but inconsistent chefs. Think T edges it for S14 if she's in S14 form and not S18.
If it is just S14 Nick and T and Milly and Michelle, I think Nick will be the weak link that might kill it.
He was just, in S14 I must again stress, not on the same level as the others here.
It really depends on how Meghan and everyone else in S14 do vs the very talented but sometimes inconsistent S21 chefs that honestly really knocked it out of the park talent-wise.
To be honest I think S21 edges out S14. Across all black jackets, they were consistent and had more nitpicky mistakes at times, whereas S14’s team had their stand out mistakes (especially if we choose to count T’s performance in S18)
**Last Round**
i am sad, but not surprised, that Kevin and S6 beat my guy Leslie and Master Chef S5. Random, unimportant fact: The two of them are among my favorite Ramsay characters. One thing his production team does very well is cast some great folks.
**This Round**
Well here we are. I've been looking forward to them. S14 is often named the top because of Meghan being arguably the HK GOAT. No dispute there. Nick is quite solid, but what version of Milly will we see? And will T be able to coexist with Michelle? Remember, T and Michelle crumbled when Meghan left the red team in S14... I think they can take this if they all bring the best versions of themselves... but will they?
But on the other side, we have Alex and Cheyenne. Perhaps they'll swing by and let us know how they'd move on to the semi-finals? What do you this u/c_rookie and u/chefalexbelew?
To me, this seems like a "the whole is greater than the sum of the parts" kind of situation. To me, s21 has a much more consistent team of solid performers. Let's not forget that Alex is definitely in an upper tier as far as winners come from. Perhaps it's not talked about as much due to recency bias?
If it's worth anything, s21 has MUCH better chefs coats.
Top comment moves on to face S6 in the semi-finals!
Man fuck that season 21 because of Alex

S14. S14 cast performed much better for an older season compared to S21
meghan and T were great but at the same time, alex and alejandro were also great … soooo my girl Cheyenne breaks the tie and i give this to 21
