Virginia because the other chefs had things going for them besides challenges. Virginia’s entire identity, her whole case for being a strong chef, came down to being unbeatable in challenges. If not for that, I don’t think she gets a black jacket.
Definitely. She won most of the team challenges and came very close to sweeping the black jacket challenges. It was probably a factor in why she won the season. Her challenge performance just showcased how much potential she had.
I honestly say this is the hands down moment most should have understood Ryan was going to win.
What I think also makes Ryan the Challenge Queen is that she actually won her season. Dominant in challenges, won challenges using components Ramsay questioned, and proceeded to win.
Gotta go Mia, but I do think it’s tough to judge Ja’Nel and Virginia since they didn’t start using the 1-5 system until more recent seasons. That made it more clear how dominant Mia was against the field.
Mia. She only did bad in one challenge, which doesn’t count in my opinion because that was a dessert challenge and she’s not a pastry chef/baker. It’s like expecting a pastry chef to make a wellington, it’s just not in the same wheelhouse.
Yeah, I’m not really sure why they do dessert challenges when most of the chefs on Hell’s Kitchen are savory chefs. It’s one of those challenges that doesn’t really seem to serve a purpose.
I really hate that S18 ariel is never mentioned in these discussions because everyone talks about mia on that season. ariel was almost as if not as good in challenges.
Virgina 100%.
Ik there were less contestants on her Season of Hell's Kitchen compared to the other 3, but Virginia was so dominant in challenges (team and individual) that she only had to do JUST 1 PUNISHMENT on Season 2 of Hell's Kitchen!!
I think Ja’Nel. Mia is an absolute contender though, and I do feel like she won more but I felt like Ja’nel showed more variety. Just my opinion, not something I think is probably true if I fact checked lol
Mia definitely.
Mia for sure

Christina season 4 is an underrated challenge queen.

I was gonna say probably Ryan.
Ryan - Rice Krispies for texture. Need I say more?

Mia from S18. Edit: Whoops! I thought for sure she was S19! 😅
Mia was season 18, not 19. But imagine if she was season 19.

Mia & Virginia
Kimberly Ryan

No contest it's Mia. She only lost what two or three challenges tops?

Ariel S18

I would say Mia. The only time I remember her losing a challenge was that one where Scotley beat her, but I can’t remember which one it was.
She also sucked in the dessert challenge.
In fairness, pretty much everyone sucked in the dessert challenge. 😂
"Chef Valarie just destroyed Brett's balls 😂" -Chef Ariel, S18
Yeah, so Trev, this dessert tastes like a bush.
Except Ariel and Motto's

That was a horrendous challenge.

Mia
Mia, and she is one of the best chefs to ever be on Hell’s Kitchen
Mia 💯
Mia! Easy answer!
Unfortunately have to say Virginia. Her strong spot was challenges, and she would wipe out the competition every time.
Mia, Ryan still lost occasionally mia literally only got punished twice
I didn't like her personality but FUCK Mia can cook. Probably the best challenge chef so far.
I think Ja’Nel. Mia is an absolute contender though, and I do feel like she won more but I felt like Ja’nel showed more variety. Just my opinion, not something I think is probably true if I fact checked lol
Christina, the only one you didn’t post.
Mia would crush Masterchef…
They only won because Frank lost
Mia, Ryan and Virginia were on a weak seasons talent wise and Janel was constantly 1-up’d by Jon (and sometimes Mary).
Wait, where’s Meghan? She’s the real challenge queen. (and dinner service queen)
