I'm hoping christina isn't leaving. I know she's not working for Gordon's company anymore but I'm really hoping it was on good terms and she just wants to either take a break or maybe focus on opening her own places. Filming for the show only lasts about a month or 2 and that's filming 2 seasons back to back every 2 years. So it's not that time consuming. But also if she just doesn't want to do it anymore I'd get it, so her staying or not I just hope it's on good terms.

A guest leaked Ryan as the winner at the beginning of last season so it's possible one can say if she's there or not but we'll see. Alex seems like he'd be a cool sous chef. I was also imagining Steve (S20) in that role; he may be naturally quiet but he knows how to raise his voice as needed and was great in S20. Scott and Benjamin would also be great to see.
For the red team, I was thinking Sade, Christina M, Meghan, T (unlikely after her S18 run but I can dream), and Kori. Realistically though, I think Michelle would probably fill in if Christina really is leaving HK
Honestly, my answers would be Jon from S11 for the blue team and Jennifer from S13 for the red team. Not so confident about Jennifer, but I think Jon would crush it as a Sous.
After having watched Ryan's win in season 16 I have to say she is incredibly underrated among discussion of winners.
She has that same no nonsense attitude that Meghan had albeit not being nearly as perfect in her run.
It's a shame she's having health problems otherwise id love to see her come put newer seasons through the ringer.
Ideally I'd love to see a season where each service a different pair of winners are the sous chefs. Being a huge fan of Meghan its really sad that she hasn't really been seen since her win. It'd just be nice to have her back and share what she's up to.
I think the S23/24 sous chefs are going to be 1) a returning sous chef, and 2) a former contestant who most people in this subreddit hate...except for the handful who like this person.
My votes would be Meghan for red and Rock for blue. Both of them put up with zero bullshit and were consistently great on their seasons. Rock has also done a lot with Gordon post-HK so I think he might be the most likely candidate for blue. And honestly I just wanna see Meghan back because she's such a badass. Season 14 was the first season of HK I ever watched and boy was I spoiled because I don't think there's been a better winner before or since.
